Best college in Pune for Civil Engineering.
Placements: The Civil Department at this college has relatively few students interested in campus placements compared to other departments like CS and IT. About 20% of the 80 students in the batch sought placement assistance, and most of them received offers. The highest salary package in 2023 was 5.5 LPA, offered by a core civil domain company based in Mumbai. Top recruiters were Worley, which offers roles such as junior engineer and others.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at this college are equipped with basic computers and projectors for teaching purposes, and green chalkboards are used for teaching most of the time. However, the labs are well-equipped with all the necessary computers and equipment for the various departments, as per their course requirements. The libraries have Wi-Fi, but access is restricted to those with campus IDs. There is no free Wi-Fi, and only academic websites are accessible. The hostel has excellent facilities, including Wi-Fi and regular cleaning services.
Faculty: The faculty members are great, as many of them are Ph.D. holders, and some of them are pursuing it. They all know about the civil engineering industry to the core. Their experience adds a lot of depth to the concepts they teach. The curriculum is relevant to the industry standards, but it depends on the students if they really understand it, and then only they can apply it. The semester exams are medium-level difficult, not much of a burden for a student who can study regularly.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering .
Placements: The average package offered by Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is 4–8 LPA, and the highest package offered by PCCOE is 60 LPA. Top recruiting companies are LinkedIn, Google, HSBC, and many more. About 85% of students got placed at PCCOE, which is really nice.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility has high security; only educational sites can be viewed through the Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms are well-developed. Talking about mess food, the PCCOE mess offers the best food as compared to other colleges. The sports facility is also very good. I really like the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, and the curriculum is also nice. Semesters in college are strict. The curriculum is according to the NEP (New Education Policy). The teachers are well-qualified, such as most of the teachers having qualified for a Ph.D. and done their master's at renowned institutes.

Placements: I am still pursuing my degree but will share my experience. Pccoe is one of the topmost colleges in pune. Placement percentages are very good for computer department. Computer department is the only field i suggest. mostly highest packages are off campus but still is around 61L.
Infrastructure: Well, this is the part where PCCOE is below average. As you enter inside college you will lose mobile network and you will be completely isolated from outside world. classes are old. computer labs are not well maintained. old computers in most of the labs. Compared to fee they are charging it's just worse.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified. But curriculum is so outdated and doesn't help in improving skills of an individual. They have introduced relative grading, but it has just reduced our cgpa and companies will just see the number which is not good for us. Don't teach us completely. at the end we need to learn few chapters on our own.
Other: Campus life is not good as you have no network. you can't even make a call in cafeteria so even online payment can't be done. it's just so stupid. fests are conducted often which is good.

It is an underrated college, and if you have taken admission in this college, you will enjoy it.
Placements: I don't know much about the placements, but in 2024, a total of 1000+ students were placed with pretty good packages. The highest was 60 lakh, and that was off-campus. I am in the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning branch, which was formed 4 years ago, so this year's placements are for the first batch, and those results are not announced yet. However, according to the seniors, the placements are really good this year.
Infrastructure: Our college has a total area of 13 acres, which is pretty small. We have 4 colleges on one campus (1. Engineering, 2. MBA, 3. Architecture, 4. Polytechnic), but it doesn't affect us, as the campus has all facilities from hostels to playgrounds and the latest teaching technology. For Wi-Fi, we get it on laptops but not on mobile phones, and there are warnings for other SIM cards other than Airtel due to very poor network coverage.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. The teachers are experienced and fully supportive. The college curriculum is focused on the overall development of students in knowledge and industry readiness. Semester exams are not that hard, and the teachers are supportive, so if you have any problems, you can contact them.
Other: I am in the AIML branch, and our college tries to cover all the required skills if you are really willing to learn. Regarding fests, we have clubs for each branch and others related to student development. Small events for coding culture and skill development are carried out throughout the year. The annual fest is also held in January, which is very good. Facilities like transportation, food stalls, D-Mart, and malls are really close, so there are no issues.

Placements: Approximately 75-80% of students from this college secure placements, with an average salary package of ₹7 lakh per annum. The highest salary this year reached ₹61 lakh for my branch, though the college hasn't officially announced it. Internships are also accessible, with around 40% of students landing internships during their studies, providing valuable work experience. Overall, the placement and internship opportunities here are strong, offering a good foundation for students entering their careers.
Infrastructure: The hostel provides a world-class, fully luxurious experience with top-notch amenities and modern facilities. Classrooms are decent and functional, though the presence of only one lift sometimes causes inconvenience for students, leading to minor delays. On the bright side, the mess serves excellent food, and the canteen stands out with its superb offerings, especially the coffee, which is a highlight for many. Despite the lift issue, the overall experience remains highly positive and comfortable.
Faculty: The teaching staff is decent, and since it's an autonomous institute, the curriculum is designed to be more manageable. Additionally, there's a strong focus on practical learning, which enhances the overall educational experience and prepares students better for real-world applications. The emphasis on hands-on learning sets it apart, making the academic process more engaging and effective for students.
Other: Festivals are conducted every three months.

Great college, excellent placements, and good infrastructure.
Placements: Most students get placed in top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Accenture. Many also secure internships, especially in the top roles in computer engineering. PCCoE is a reputed engineering college in Pune, known for its excellent placement cell, which has successfully navigated economic recessions.
Infrastructure: Quality of food in mess could improve slightly, but everything else is very good. Hot water is generally available in hostels. Both boys' and girls' hostels, along with their mess facilities, are satisfactory. Wi-Fi is restricted to a few websites but is generally accessible for all essential ones. Classrooms are well-organized and properly arranged.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good, though sometimes strict. Most students pass their exams. Teachers are highly interactive and qualified, with some still pursuing their Masters. Faculty members for Computer Science Engineering are especially highly reputed and excellent.

PCET has successfully placed over 22,000 students from across India in the past few years through various drives such as On campus, off campus, and Pool campus. On average, around 600 recruitment drives are conducted every year and around 1,500 to 2,000 students annually are placed. The maximum salary offered to students is 32 Lacs per year and we have also provided an international package of  20 Lakhs. 

Indira Placement is a well known placement programme with over 500 companies annually for both summer internship and final placement. We offer jobs in various profiles such as banking, auto, logistics, research, pharma, and telecom. The average salary offered is 8.0 Lakh with the highest being 14 Lakh.
