Review of Pondicherry Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in this college were just above average during my tenure. However, if we look at the placements now, a plethora of companies are invited by the college which is absolutely amazing. Many core companies visit the college for recruitment and also offer good salary packages. This is apart from the mass IT recruiters.

The infrastructure and faculty are good, and the fee structure is low.

Placements: 100% placements were provided to the students in our batch as well as our senior batch. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Many companies visited the college. Among them, the major companies were L&T, TCS, HCL, and Wipro. Roles offered to the students of our department were site engineer, etc., and the students of other departments were offered the roles related to their respective specializations.

Pondicherry Engineering College review.

Placements: During my time, many companies like Asahi glass, Wipro, TCS, L&T Infotech, MRF, L&T construction, Mu Sigma, and more walked into our campus and hired us. The placement and training sessions will be carried out by the college which helped many students to go through aptitude and English sessions in interviews.

Best government college in the whole south India present in the shores of Bay of Bengal.

Placements: It is the best college where most of the students get placed. They groom your talent for the company, and the company takes you to the next level. The training and placement cell of PEC will train the students in their third year in aptitude and soft skills from experienced professionals. Technical knowledge need not be increased, as the PECians will have it always at best.

The best place to study engineering in Pondicherry, and all the facilities are available here.

Placements: The placement was average. If we do well, subsequently, it will increase. A lot of training classes are being held. In summer, we had communication classes organised which were followed by the interview. A few months later, aptitude classes are held, and we are getting trained, hope we will succeed.

PEC is nothing but the combination of placement and enjoyment.

Placements: The only college assured for placements is Pondicherry Engineering College. If you are good in your academics, then you are placed. The companies recruiting are not only software companies but also core companies of every department. Some of the best-recruiting companies are Amazon, ZOHO, Cadence Design Systems, SAP Labs, etc.

The freedom provided by the college can make a student either good or bad.

Placements: There is a gradual increase in placements within the college. We have a training and placement centre where we were nurtured to face any condition. Irrespective of the department there exists a wide exposure with companies. Some of the companies that visited the college recently were Amazon, HCL, Infosys, Zoho, Cognizant, Tech Mahendra, Bosch, sap, Wipro, Flipkart, Broadcom, TCS, MRF and TVS.

A good college for people who aren't bookworms. A lot of freedom with a good infrastructure.

Placements: All the students, irrespective of the department, will be placed in TCS. Core companies are coming for all the departments but for CSE, IT, ECE, they are more in number. The average salary is Rs. 3,50,000 to Rs. 4,00,000(p.a.). The highest salary offered is Rs. 10,00,000(p.a). 85 to 90 percent students are placed. The core companies for mechanical and civil are less when compared to the software department.

Placements: In the year of 2015, 48 out of 72 students were placed from the EEE department. The highest salary as I heard was 10 lakh per year. The average salary is 3.5 lakh per year. The recruitment of students to core companies is few in number. TCS is the firm where most of the students get placed.

Placements: Around 80% of the students in our senior batches got placed. The training and placement cell conducts various activities in order to facilitate this. It has conducted a special program for us 3rd years last summer for the personality development. The staff members there are also quite supportive and encouraging. Many of our staff members encourage the students to become entrepreneurs and make new job opportunities.

A great institution to be a part of, to grow with knowledge and have life experiences.

Placements: This is the best place to be when you think of being placed with a high probability. Every major IT and core company visits our campus every year to recruit fresh talent. Since becoming autonomous, the trend has only started to climb an uphill way. If you work your way hard to reach this campus, then rest assured. Your chances of getting placed from here are much much higher compared to any other institutions in this region.

One of the best colleges with good infrastructure, curriculum, placement and support from faculty.

Placements: In Pondicherry, all the companies come to our PEC first, because our college students are shining in the IT industry and they believe that our college students will fulfil all their requirements. And then they opt for other colleges. Placement count in our college is always high when comparing to other colleges. So students in our college need not worry about placements since they have a lot of skills within them.

It is the best college in the Pondicherry region. Here all the faculty members have completed doctorates in IIT and NIT institutes. It is also having a very good library with more than 10 lac books. Each department here has their own separate blocks. The campus facilities are very good and training is provided for placements. MNC companies like CTS, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc are regularly conducting campus interviews and taking a large number of students every year.

Best college in the state and one of the best college in the country. Excellent Infrastructure, perfect staff, outstanding curriculum and above all, fantastic placement records. To add to it, it’s a typical govt. institute which charges very minimal (app 15k per annum) and when you leave the college, you will come out with a package of minimum 3LPA. The college gives you lot of freedom to pursue your interest, but as usual freedom comes with responsibility.
