Good college in all aspects except placements.

Placements: No one got placed in my batch. During my college years, only one company visited, but there were people from different fields like DSP, IAS, etc. who came to motivate students. Private institutes come for promotions. There are no placements at all but college is good in some aspects.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.

Placements: There are no such placements at my college. Just 10% of placements are there. No company is coming to our college. The top package offered in my course is just INR 3–4 lacs per annum. 90% of above-average students got internships from our course. In fact, in many companies, more than 90% of students got internships.

College is best for comp Science.

Placements: More than 95% of well-educated students with computer skills are recruited from college. Our college provides good knowledge. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The top recruiting company is Amazon. Most students get fixed but due to covid 19 pandemic most students do not go outside, but many students are doing online internships. The college life here is satisfying.

Placements: The quality of placements provided here is good for BCA. There are good placement opportunities, mainly in operation management and marketing. The average salary package offered here is around 1 LPA-2 LPA. The maximum number of students get their jobs from our college. Teachers here are very qualified and knowledgeable.

Placements: Students generally are inclined more towards pursing Masters degree after graduation from this college. However, almost 42% are willing to get placed through campus placements. NACT exam is conducted by Nasscom to get hold of the students and their soft skill knowledge. College also organizes job fest where multiple leading companies like Dell, IBM, Wipro, Infosys etc. recruit the students. Even though the packages aren't much. The students still succeed in getting a pack of 1 to 2 lacs.

It is an excellent institute with the best staff members and infrastructure.

Placements: Our course was not a professional course, so there were no placements. But students of courses such as M.Com, MCA, M.Sc and MA are provided placements. Even the government and private associations take initial steps to provide placements to students.

I do not recommend any one to join my college even for BCA course.

Placements: 60% of people were selected in a BPO but since our course was IT related, so None of the people joined. 2 students from our batch were selected in WIPRO including me and that too through external recruitment. Other than that, no company came in my college.

Review of Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh.

Placements: There are fewer placements as compared to other colleges, but the students are placed in good companies. Salary packages offered to the students depend on the companies where they are applying for their jobs. Top companies did not visit our college for recruitment. Almost all the students in our course got jobs on their own. Roles offered were also good.
