Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, a canteen, a playground, a library, and a hostel are available in our college. Our college provides all facilities. They are well-maintained. Our canteen is very neat. It provides very good and hygienic food.
Faculty: The semester exams are quite difficult. Their way of teaching is good. They are the best. The teaching and the standard of education in our college are good.
Other: It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

Our college faculty members are excellent.
Placements: There were 45 students in our class but five students passed with honors. Almost 60% of students were placed. Top recruiting companies did not visit our campus. They did not provide internships. Facilities were not up to date. No recruiting firms visited our college and will never visit again because there was no placement option at CU.
Infrastructure: Our college Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries were not available. They did not provide a hostel. The hostel faculty members were not good. The canteen was unhygienic. The canteen was beside the washroom, which made it more difficult to eat there. There were no proper washrooms.
Faculty: Our faculty members were good, qualified, and helpful. They were very knowledgeable. There was no curriculum. Semester exams were difficult. The pass percentage was 30-35%. Our university professors did not check the copies properly and assigned incorrect grades.
Other: I chose this course because it was interesting. You get to know everything about English literature in three years. The syllabus should be reduced. There were no festivals during my time in college.

I am totally satisfied with my college faculty, infrastructure as well as teachers.
Placements: The placement cell is not very good but still there is a lot of opportunities for the students of the college. College announced their placement recruitment through their websites and students need to ACT through it. Most of the students are NIT taking placement from college because of the package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, create a good sense of ambience and has a anti ragging environment in the college. The college has many different facilities like library, hostel near the college, affordable canteen and a sports ground for the students.
Faculty: The teacher of this college are very helpful and sweet towards their students. They play a vital role in the success of the students. The major role play of teachers in this college is they are very supportive and provides all the materials required for the examination.
Other: I chose this course because this will provide me a lot of opportunities in the future like I can became a teacher, a professor as well as a Ph.D. scholar.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2020

The fantastic infrastructure and an average one in terms of placement.
Placements: The number of students in our course English was more than enough but after a year the strength reduced and a maximum number of students failed. Our college has a recruitment cell from which direct companies come to our college and schedule an interview for the students.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good, there is almost everything available in our college like Science Lab, Computer Lab, Geography Lab, Library for students, etc. This college provides you with all the things which a student needs the most for their education.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful with the students. They guide their course students in every situation as it possible offline or online. This course B.A. is very relevant in the field of teaching who wants to become a good teacher. I think Bachelor of Arts especially in English is a very tough course and that is why 90% of the students failed in the first year. So if you are quite serious then this course is for you.
Other: I choose this course because I want to become a teacher one day so I am right now focusing on my studies.

I am not much satisfied because of the union and the bad behavior of students.
Placements: Since I have joined this college the previous year, I have never heard anything about placements. Companies do not visit this type of government college in Kolkata. None of the students got placed anywhere from this college after graduation. The course I am studying has a great prospect outside West Bengal if I complete my further studies in some renowned university.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are quite crowded but huge. Some of the classrooms are small. The canteen is somewhat good. There are some sports facilities and NCC in the college, but I do not have any interest in those things. The library is quite good and huge, which is a plus point. Lab facilities of geography course are good.
Faculty: Teachers teaching us are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Many teachers are not quite responsible, but I like teachers as they communicate well with the students. The course curriculum is vast, stressful, and not very practical. Exams are lengthy and difficult to pass. To score about 40% in academics is a huge deal in any college under Calcutta University, so do not expect much.
Other: I have chosen this course because of great future prospects and much practical work. The best thing about our course is excursions to a distant land, but I am unsure if college will make it happen. I wanted my course to be more practical-based and up to date with the current world. The campus surroundings are horrible, with all the union students running everything. You will not get much help if you don't keep them happy. The college students are not much well behaved and mostly use many vulgar languages.

The review of Prafullo Chandra College.
Placements: This college is good for education. A student, who get the minimum 75 percent marks can easily get the admission in this college. At the time of admission, they publish the 3-4 lists. If you want to take admission in this college, you have to work hard in the higher secondary.
Infrastructure: This college is good. There is a big campus, which is of 3-floors. There is a big library and a computer centre. There is a big canteen in our college. There is a big playground in our college. There is a common room, but this is for the senior students. The junior students are not allowed in this room.
Faculty: The B.A. honours in Bengal and English course are available, and the B.Com honours and general is available. The B.Sc. in geography and general is available. The B.A. general course is available on the campus for the students.
