I'm not saying that this is the worst branch in B.Tech. The opportunities are less for mechanical engineers because the software is ruling this world.

Placements are very good, better to join, good infrastructure, and sports events.
Placements: 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest package is 40 LPA, the lowest is 2.2 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, and 10% of students are placed in ServiceNow, Amazon, Accenture. The top roles are Software Engineering roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure include computer labs, a central library, digital classrooms, dispensary rooms, and good quality food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, NCC, and NSS conduct various activities, and all other sports are conducted once a week.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, Ph.D. qualified, and the teaching quality is good. Yes, the courses here are industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate, with an 80% pass percentage. The exams here are not so difficult; they are of a moderate level.
Other: Because of the better prospects in the future, there are more ways to grow. The things I wish would be better about the course are the outdated syllabus. Every year, the Prism event is conducted, and the connectivity is good.

Good infrastructure and facilities but average faculty and food quality.
Placements: Pragati Engineering College has an 80% placement rate. The highest package is 40 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Infosys. 50% of students got internships at firms like Tech Mahindra. Key roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and consultant.
Infrastructure: Pragati Engineering College offers clean classrooms, advanced labs, Wi-Fi, and a large central library with separate department libraries. Hostels have furnished rooms, indoor games, a gym, 24/7 medical services, and basic amenities. The mess provides varied meals.
Faculty: The college has helpful and qualified teachers. The course is good but needs extra learning to meet industry needs. Exams are moderately tough, and about 70% of students pass. Students may need self-study to better understand the subjects. The faculty provides good knowledge with some practical explanations.
Other: I chose this course because it offered great opportunities for learning and career growth. The best part is the variety of activities available, from technical fests to cultural events like Prism. The campus is pleasant, with good connectivity and extracurricular clubs. The college also offers scholarships and supports meritorious students. The hostel and mess could improve in terms of food quality. Overall, the environment is peaceful, with enough events to keep students engaged, and good transport options.

Placements were impressive in past years, but not now.
Placements: A minimum of 120 members are taken for every department. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. Many companies like Tata, TCS, Amazon, and Capgemini visit our college. A very low percentage of students are selected for placements and internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not used by students We use our mobile data, but we have poor signal around. The library has a wide range of collections but students are not allowed in college hours. Labs have only computers but with tidy and of poor quality.
Faculty: Our faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach like in schools. The best quality teachers are designing their jobs, which is difficult for students. Half of the subject is studied by ourselves until our semester examinations. The pass percentage depends on YouTube history and selecting channels.

Great infrastructure, supportive faculty, and strong industry-relevant curriculum.
Placements: I am from the 2025 pass-out batch, pursuing Data Science at Pragati Engineering College. I have learned skills like Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Flask, Google Cloud, and machine learning concepts. Some of the projects I have worked on include synthetic airline analysis using SQL and Power BI and breast cancer prediction using machine learning.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Pragati Engineering College is excellent. The classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with modern teaching tools. The labs are stocked with the latest software for data science, and Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The library has a wide selection of books and online resources for research. Hostel facilities are comfortable, with clean rooms and reliable internet access. The mess provides decent food, and the canteen has quick snack options. There are also medical facilities on campus, and the college has good sports infrastructure for overall development.
Faculty: The faculty is one of the biggest strengths of this course. They are highly qualified, approachable, and dedicated to making sure we understand the subject matter. The curriculum is up-to-date with current industry trends, preparing us for real-world challenges. The exams are designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical application, which I think helps us gauge our readiness. The pass percentage is high as long as you stay consistent and committed to your studies.
Other: I chose data science because of my interest in working with data and finding patterns to solve real-world problems. The best part of this course is the hands-on learning through projects, exposure to industry-standard tools like Python, SQL, and Power BI, and the focus on statistical analysis and machine learning.

College had good infrastructure and placement team.
Placements: About 70% students are placed and the highest package was 40 LPA the average package was about 5 LPA. Top recruiting company was Autodesk. Internship recruiters were Accenture and Amazon with a good stipend. This year we had around 900 offers come to the students and they were still going on.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was good almost everywhere on the campus. The labs were good with new equipment. Coming to the hostel, the food was average but compared to home, it was not up to the level. We have a dispensary in the college itself and an available nurse and we have a mineral water supply around the campus and a small solar plant in the main block.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and they were good with the explanation of the topics. Semesters were easy enough if we followed the faculty and assignments. The course curriculum was designed to obtain all the qualities required while in the engineering and it helps by providing both technical knowledge and general too.
Other: I am studying CSE AI in this college and every year we have fests like Prism, which are cultural to be specified with and we have the technical event named Strides, which is a participation event that enhances the student's way of thinking and elevates mental growth, like active participation and all.

Average faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Only about 40% of students in my course are placed. The highest package was 9 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Top recruiters are VEM Technologies and Tech Mahindra. About 50% of students get internships in companies like Tech Mahindra. Top roles offered in my course are assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course is below average with below average labs, no Wi-Fi, classrooms are below average, and the library is good. Talking about hostels, they are average, and about food, it was below average. The hostel had a small gym, and talking about sports, we have a good ground.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and averagely qualified, holding M.Tech degrees. The teaching quality is average. Talking about the course curriculum, it was good but not directly geared towards industry readiness; we need to be trained. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, with a pass percentage of about 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I love core subjects. The labs must be improved for our course. Talking about events and the crowd, they are just average.
