Good faculty and good college.
Placements: 70 percent of students are placed. The highest package is, I think, 500,000, which is five Lacs, and the average is 400,000, that is four Lacs and the lowest is 100,000, that is one Lac. I think these all are the minimum placements in Prathyusha Engineering College.
Infrastructure: Okay, facility in the hostel, good infrastructure, and the available courses are Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Biotechnology, and many other courses are available here in Prathyusha Engineering College.
Faculty: The teachers are good and qualified for teaching. The curriculum is relevant to the sorts of activities, and the students maintain the basic events of the curriculum-related activities. This is a good college, Prathyusha Engineering College, Thiruvallur.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

I am dissatisfied with the placement, faculty, food, and infrastructure.
Placements: This college's placement is not that good now; until 2019, the placements were good, with companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, and Infosys recruiting. However, the placement rate has been reduced to up to 20% in a department, with only 4-5 students getting placed at a maximum of 6 lac per annum.
Infrastructure: The mess food is really bad; they won't change the menu even if students request it. The hygiene is poor, with no face masks or gloves used while serving; sometimes, we even find hairs in the food. The bathroom conditions are also poor, with no hot water or proper hygiene. There is no proper ground for sports, no sports equipment, and labs with computers that are not working properly.
Faculty: Although the course curriculum is relevant and can make students industry-ready, the faculty don't know how to convey the lessons up to an industry level. Some faculty members are not even qualified to teach a particular subject. The pass percentage is good, at about 93% per department.
Other: I chose this college through a friend's recommendation. The best things about the college are the friends you make; you can learn life lessons and understand why marks are important, as they help us choose the best college. However, there are no events or fests, except for government scholarships and NSS (National Service Scheme) activities.

Best place to learn about computers.
Placements: In the previous year, 96% of students were placed. The highest salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA, with an average package of around 4.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture, and TechMahindra visited our college to recruit students. 60% of students got internships in their 5th and 6th semesters in companies like TCS, Accenture, Zoho, etc. Roles such as tester, software developer, data chain developer, and apprentice roles were offered by these companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has large laboratory facilities for students, and its Wi-Fi signal is very strong. Many computer labs are available for all computer-based courses. The hostel experience is below average due to the quality of food provided on campus, which is below average in taste. Sports like kabaddi, football, and cricket are played by students, and many have participated in tournaments and won prizes.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, and their teaching methods are easily understandable. They clarify doubts raised by students. The course curriculum is mostly relevant to our field, with many application-based questions being raised and solved by the students.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in coding and technologies. The college management should improve the food quality, as the demand for better food is high. Events should be conducted once every year.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and placements. No reason to go to college.
Placements: Without any hesitation, I'm making it clear that only 5 percent of the students get placed in our department; actually, it is drastically decreasing. The one guy from our department got placed in Flipkart, and there it ends. No other placed students we could find.
Infrastructure: We don't even have a napkin incinerator in the washrooms. They clean the washrooms only once a day, which really makes it uncomfortable for us to use the washrooms. And the foremost thing, the quality of the food is too worse, and even after complaints, it is becoming the worst. We couldn't bear the quality of food sometimes; we could find worms and insects too. There are only 4 washrooms for the hostel population and only 6 to 8 washrooms for the combination of 3 departments.
Faculty: Actually, along with the students, the teachers are also in the learning process. Without the help of YouTube, I'm sure that we students would not have cleared the semester. They don't even spend time to clear doubts and are too rude that we couldn't share what the problem is here and get clarified.
Other: Scholarships are provided. Once on a sports day, college is done in a basic way. We're happy at least they allow us to celebrate it in the basic manner. The quality of teaching should be improved.

PCE college is the best in my career.
Placements: The placement of our college is the best, as it has invited many big companies for placement activities such as HCL, Microsoft, Dell, HP, TCS, Infotech, etc. These companies have offered us good job appointments with higher positions, and a fantastic package of 16 Lacs per annum is the highest package offered.
Infrastructure: We have a huge hostel in our college with 4 floors. Each floor has 17 rooms, and the size of the rooms is good. Each room accommodates two students with separate cupboards and dual beds. The hostel mess facilities are excellent, providing us with healthy and delicious meals. The quality of food is great and tastes like home-cooked food.
Faculty: The course curriculum of our college is excellent. I chose this course because of my interest, and our college has highly qualified teaching faculty. Some of them hold Ph.D. degrees, and each faculty member possesses different teaching skills. Listening to the lectures is sufficient to score well in examinations, which are conducted either semester-wise or with weekly tests.

Life of an engineer in PEC
Placements: 95% of students are getting placements right last year .. the highest package of 22LPA and 2.2LPA is the packages college offering till the past year. The top recruits are IBM, cognizant, amazon.com, Infosys, tata , Anglo eastern, HCL , Zoho, Paypal, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and other companies.
Infrastructure: In my point of view I like ECE so what. I chose ECE because in the ECE we have both domains like hardware and software. In our department we have ethernet connected PC and we wifi in particular labs like EDC, CS, and VLSI. In the hostel we have more facilities like ac rooms and hot waters and so on.
Faculty: Especially in our department some of faculties are very good and other are opposite to them. The gents are literally gems but the lady staff are very dangerous. They act like good but they everything in the backside of you. Exam are easy because they give important questions before the week of final exams.
