I am satisfied with college.
Placements: Our batch of PGDM E-business consisted of almost 120 students, and out of them, approximately 60% of our batch students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters were Moody's, Cognizant Technologies, Infosys, ICICI Bank, IBM, Randstad, Spar Hypermarket and many others. Above 90% of the students got an internship. Top roles offered were mostly managerial manager like regional marketing manager, consultant, business analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned and have Wi-Fi. There are also a library and a lab for business design domain students with a dedicated coach. It also has lots of activities and campaigns which encourage lots of creative and innovative solutions to challenge real-world problems.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and experienced in their domain. Lots of industry professionals also come to teach specific industry subjects, which is a great part of study and exposure to the real world. The course makes students industry-ready and to face the challenges of the real world.
Other: I have chosen E-business marketing as it was mostly inclined towards a mixture of IT and marketing. I am from the commerce background, and at that time, I thought of updating myself into IT and diving into marketing as my majors would be a beneficial move for me. There are lots of activities, fests and compensation, rotary club and events happening which encourages a candidate to participate in them.

Placements and faculty are great. They provide you with a lot of industry exposure.
Placements: Placements in our college have been pretty decent. More than 70% of the students get placed here. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6.5 LPA. Prominent companies like Wipro Technologies, Infosys, Accenture, Siemens, and Wipro Consumer Care, etc., visit the campus for placements. Various roles like a business analyst and some roles in marketing and sales sectors are offered to students. Around 60% of the students were offered internships. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 60,000 for two months. The college has a placement cell, and it's highly efficient.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is provided on the campus. There are prototype labs for business design and innovation. Our college also has an amphitheatre for various other functions. Our classrooms are very well-equipped. The canteen available on the campus is good. The quantity of food offered is also decent. Hostel rooms are allocated on two sharing bases.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are amazing. They are highly knowledgeable and provide tremendous industry exposure. The teaching methodology varies from faculty to faculty as some faculty choose case studies, and some have a practical approach in teaching. There are various faculty members for every stream. Review of Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.
Placements: Placements in our college are shady this year. A few students of our batch still not placed for internships. I do not know the actual placement percentage, but that's the general commotion in the college among students. Students of our senior batch also shared the same expression regarding the final placements. I know quite a few of them who had to take up profiles that they were reluctant to take but took it with the fear that they might end up not getting any offers at all. So overall, I would say the situation might not be grim, but there's a good amount of struggle here.
Infrastructure: The premise according to the intake is good enough. All basic facilities are here. The college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility. The access is restricted, and you have to register your device with the IT lab. They do proxy setup which doesn't last, so Wi-Fi inside the college campus is not good. However, the Wi-Fi facility provided in the hostel is commendable, and you can browse the internet throughout the day. At the hostel, you can find the TT table, carrom board and chess, pool table, and badminton court. We don't have any facilities for outdoor sports. Hostel rooms are good enough. Quality of the food served is poor. Hostel food is really bad. You will daily struggle with the food, especially if you're from the west and north.
Faculty: The curriculum includes mostly traditional classroom teaching. Most of the faculty members prefer PPTs which I think is not an effective way of teaching. Except for a few seasoned and experienced faculty members, no one is not that good at teaching. You should relate and enjoy listening to lectures. But I am still in the third semester, so all that I said is my experience till now.
Other: Only the finance and marketing departments organise the events. They have established good enough forums to organise events. Operations and HR forums are mostly absent here. The rest of the clubs such Rotaract club would pop up with some events here and there. Cultural events are quite rare. I haven't come across any events yet except for independence day.

Students also asked

Q:   Can I get direct admission at Welingkar Institute of Management?

A:

Yes, you can get direct admission at Welingkar Institute of Management using Management quota or NRI quota. However you need to fulfil the basic qualifications:

Minimum 50% marks in graduation

Should have taken CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA in the year specified

Although direct admission is subject to certain conditions like you may have to give higher fees and limited availability of seats.

Q:   Can I get admission to WeSchool Bangalore - Welingkar Institute of Management with 60% in Class 12th?

A:

Admission criteria for MBA programs at WeSchool Bangalore, or any other management institute, typically prioritize your performance in undergraduate studies and entrance exams rather than your Class 12th scores. While having a good academic record is beneficial, a 60% score in Class 12th may not be a primary factor for MBA admissions.

The usual key factors considered for admission to an MBA programme at WeSchool or similar institutes include:

1. Bachelor's Degree: A completed Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a specified minimum percentage (e.g., 50% or higher) is generally required.

2. Entrance Exam Scores: Performance in relevant management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or other exams specified by the institute is a significant factor. High scores in these exams can enhance your chances of admission.

3. Group Discussion and Personal Interview:  Performance in group discussions and personal interviews is also crucial for the final selection. Your communication skills, knowledge, and overall personality are evaluated during this stage.

4. Work Experience (if applicable): Some MBA programs may consider your work experience as a part of the selection criteria. However, this varies based on the program.

While your Class 12th percentage may not be a primary consideration, having a strong academic record throughout your undergraduate studies and a competitive score in the entrance exam will certainly enhance your application.

For precise and up-to-date information regarding admission criteria for MBA at WeSchool Bangalore, I recommend visiting the official website of the institute or directly contacting their admissions office. They can provide detailed and accurate information about the eligibility requirements and selection process.

So, you can go ahead and apply for other core courses where your work experience will be valued more. Also, it depends on your interest also. So, make wise decision

There is no minimum percentile as such as Welingkar considers an overall score of your GDPI, your past academics, your extracurricular and also your percentile. So converting the call totally depends on how well your GDPI goes.

The average package is around 8.5 to 9 LPA. Thus, ROI is good only. Placements are centralized and open for everyone so nothing as such freshers and experienced. It depends on your CV and your skills and how you have evolved in the two years of your MBA.
