The college provides holistic education for students to grow into capable leaders.

Placements: Placements for summer internships have been going well for the junior batch so far, with a steady inflow of good companies. For our senior batch, packages ranging from 5 LPA to 14 LPA have been offered. Around 75% of the students have been placed so far, and it is still counting. We expect all the students to get placed soon.

A huge amount of opportunities are provided, but there is lack of transparency.

Placements: Almost 90% of students were placed from the PGDM finance course. Last year, the average salary package offered was 7.50 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. They offered roles like financial service and financial analyst. About 70% of the students got summer internships from the college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 50,000 per month. We have a placement cell in our college, and it is not that helpful as there is no transparen...

The college offers high learning and growth opportunities.

Placements: Every year, a diverse pool of companies visit this college for placements. They provide not only good profiles but also excellent packages. Companies start visiting the college from September and continue till March or April. They also have a few international opportunities for summer and executive placements.

Good infrastructure, faculty and industry oriented course, but needs to work on placements.

Placements: Companies visiting the campus for placements are good. At most, a median salary according to the market standards is provided. A little cooperation is required between the placement cell and students. Placement process should provide clarity to candidates on the roles they will perform.

Our college incorporates all the government initiatives.

Placements: Placements for summers have already started. Around 30% of the students got placed in well-known companies. In the executive placements, more than 50% of the students got placed with a good stipend. Career management cell (CMC) is the placement cell of our college, and it works efficiently.

It has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai enjoys a good reputation for providing both summer internships and executive placements. Currently, I am in the 1st year, and so far, about 15-20% of the core PGDM students have been placed through campus placements for summer internships. The highest stipend offered for interns is Rs. 50,000 per month including relocation assistance charges if any and the lowest is nil. Placements: The highest salary package offered for our senior batch was 14 LPA, and average CTC was 8 LPA. We are expecting the same or a bit higher packages than this. All kinds of companies in FMCG, Banking, NGO, pharmaceutical streams have visited our campus. Nearly 80% of the students get placed through on-campus placements, and 90% of the students are able to get internships. The highest stipend for our batch till now is Rs. 50,000. A good college in terms of location, placements and ambience.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. The college doesn't entertain companies with packages less than 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered last year was 16 LPA. The average salary package offered is between 7-8 LPA. Even the stipends offered during the summer internships are way too good. Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan are some of the companies that offer a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month. Approximately, 600-650 companies visited for the placements last year.

Placements: The college has a strong industrial connection with companies coming in for diverse roles. The companies from different industries have become a part of the placement process, considering the fact that the college has different courses. For the immediate seniors, till today, the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA.

Short review of Welingkar college.

Placements: Welingkar has enrolled a lot of PG students of rural, business design, and healthcare department for placements. Thus, the competition becomes tough for MS students. Less number of students should be enrolled in placements. In other colleges like Sydenham and JBIMS, there is less intake of students, and the competition is thus low.

Placements: Placements in the college are pretty good. Students are offered an average salary package of around 7-8 LPA. Some exceptional students with good work experience can secure packages up to 15 LPA and more. College provides a fair chance to everyone for placements.
