PSGIM: For aspiring Managers and Entrepreneurs.

Placements: As a first-year PGDM student I do not have a first hand experienced on placement, ones of the reason why I chose to pursue my higher studies in PSGIM was due to the good placement and opportunities provided by PSGIM, From alumni of PSGIM I'm aware there was 95% were placed and remaining 5% opted some other career options like own business. Around 75 companies came to college, they offered between 4lac to 15lac package. Average package would be around 5lac. Notable recruiters would be TCS, Zoho, ...

Our college provides numerous opportunities to find our place in the world.

Placements: I'm a 2020 batch student doing my PGDM first year in PSGIM. My super seniors of 2018 batch were placed in good companies across various sectors in different interesting profiles. The placement season in our college for this year have already started full fledged and we are hoping to end with some amazing opportunities. Regarding internship, students have various options from start up to well established companies coming for summer internship.

The placements are good and provides 95-100% placements.

Placements: The placements here are good. The college always maintains nearly 95 to 100% placements every year. Decent packages are offered here. Marketing, Finance has the best placements when compared to HR and Operations departments. The average package here is 6 LPA.

Satisfied because of learning exposure and knowledge gained.

Placements: PSGIM Prides itself as a destination of choice for students who aspire to be managers by getting more qualified placements. The placement goes in the following order, marketing, finance, operations, and HRM. However, it all depends on the efforts we put during the two years of our course.

The best B-School in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: They have good placements in marketing. They will help you to place you if you are eligible. The placement in HR is less than 10. The people who got placed, most of them were offered more than 4.5 LPA. The internship of the college helped to get through most of the best companies. The students who got the internship through college did not receive any stipend from my knowledge.

An esteemed institution to do post graduation in management.

Placements: Overall, the placements were good. However, it varies from year to year based on current market trends. It also depends on how we perform during the 2 years of course of our study. The placement percentage goes in the following order, as the highest number of placements will be for Marketing, finance, operations and then for HR. Since the industry requirement also goes in the same order.

For marketing, I can say this is the best place. The college has good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good, especially for marketing. The average CTC is around 6LPA. The placements are good for marketing, finance, operations and HR streams. The placements for HR and operations will be less compared to marketing and finance. If you are interested in marketing, then PSGIM is the place for you. The students who are interested in HR and operations, I would not suggest this as a great place for you all.

Totally satisfied with the way we were taught.

Placements: Placements from well-reputed companies have been brought by our college and packages above 12 lakhs are also bagged by our students in our college. This has been continuing for the past 4 years in the same wavelength. The lowest package bagged is of 4 lakhs in the corporate world. Companies like Karvy, IndusInd, Mahindra, Decathlon have conducted placements.

Overall a good college where you can learn lessons subject wise and also regarding life.

Placements: The placements record here is decent. So for the batches from 2014-2016, the highest salary package was 11 LPA. The average salary package was 4 LPA. The management is trying hard to find the good recruiters. We have decent companies coming here like Ford, Vodafone, TCS, HDFC, ZOHO, SAP, COCA-COLA, NESTLE, L&T. Every student will get placed in a company, but it is the responsibility of a student to increase his knowledge and get placed in a good company.

Faculty members are so good and approachable, and the infrastructure is quite comfort.

Placements: Placements were too good according to me. Most of the students get placed to their expectations. Nearly 90% people got placed. Highest salary package will be 11lakh and the lowest is to 4.5lakh. Many branded companies have visited like zoho,Deloitte,Hdfc,Icici, cts, tcs and more. People were placed in HR,Marketing, finance and more. And for the internship nearly 70% students got. Stipend is based on the company, and the department they belong , but it is to our satisfaction.

Absolutely satisfied because of the quality.

Placements: The placements were very good for my senior batch and my batch. Total of 99.9 % people were placed. The highest was given by Amazon and it was approximately 14 lakhs per annum and the lowest I am not sure of it. All types of companies have visited our campus during my placements. Eg, Amazon, Microsoft, Mu Sigma, Paypal, mahindra, Ford, Ashok leyland, Honey well, Bosch, TCS, IBM, Accenture and many more. Students were asked to attend the aptitude and then group discussion and then technical and H...

Good quality of teaching, more innovative methods, provides importance to students. Well established

Placements: Placements in PSGIM are quite good and on an average, around 80 to 110 companies visit the campus each year. The highest package that was offered in my batch was around 10 lakhs per annum. The minimum package for all who get placed is around 4.5 LPA. More than 80 percent students who prefer placements got their placement. The regular companies that visit the campus are TCS, HCL, Ujjivan FInance, Zoho, Nomura, Total, etc. The placement opportunities for Finance and Marketing students are more w...

PSGIM - An overview of life here.

Placements: Placements have always had close to a 95% accuracy. The packages are not as expected, however, as the average package is around 5 lakhs. Roles offered are from an executive sales person to an analyst. There were internship opportunities offered to all first-year students during summer vacations. Non-paid internships had a higher ratio in comparison to paid internships.

The best out there in Coimbatore.

Placements: The placements are yet to start for our batch. But for our senior batch, it was quite good. Almost 95% of our seniors were placed with an average salary package of Rs. 6 LPA CTC. The profile of the visited companies were also good with adequate focus on career growth. The placement season usually starts from August of an academic year and goes on until the end of the academic year. The college is working day and night to bring in a variety of job profiles though most of the placements are in mar...

A place filled with mediocrity.

Placements: The placements are fine for marketing students, but for the other branches, the college should make some additional efforts. For our seniors, they somehow managed to get some random jobs, but the JD of several jobs were below average. There were a few with decent placements too.

Not a very good place for the engineering background people to do MBA or PGDM.

Placements: The placements for our batch and our senior batch were average. In my batch, only around 30 percent got placed, and the marketing class gets higher placements here. The finance placements are better, but very less placements for HR and operations team. The top companies here are TCS, South Indian Bank and Ford. They will take 3 students on an average. No placements training by college, so the students have to embrace it on their own.

Two years of education in PSG was complete experience. Management is art, they take a special care for every student to learn this art. It’s all practical experience from where we learn management. Lots of cherishing memories we carried and still carrying.it was an awesome experience learning in PSG.
