PSIT - A new phace of our life.
Placements: On average, there are 500 students in the BCA, out of which mainly 300 to 400 of them get placed easily. The main requirement for placement is if we are quite good in studies and in English, we can get placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies that mainly visit our college are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. Internships are also offered every two months, and students can easily apply for them.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good compared to other colleges in Kanpur. Classrooms are highly maintained, having each portal for individual electricity. Library is also maintained well, having a variety of books. All sports facilities are available, except for cricket as the cricket ground is not available. Other than all the facilities, medical facilities, mess, and canteen are well-developed. One word I can say is that the infrastructure of PSIT is excellent.
Faculty: I think teachers are not well-experienced but they are good, knowledgeable, and qualified. The teaching is not good as they do not focus on individuals and they are also not well-experienced. Only a few teachers are very experienced. If we talk about exams, there are two CTs, two assignments, and one Pre-University exam conducted. The difficulty level of these exams is average, so can pass easily.
Other: I chose this course because it was low price compared to B.Tech. It offers good packages compared to other colleges. I think the placement rate should be increased, and the package that is being offered should be increased to up to 25 LPA. College organizes many events, including an annual event called Ignitia to which some chief guests are invited. In past years, chief guests like Sushant Singh Rajput, Kailash Kher, and Yogi Adityanath have attended the event. A scholarship of Rs. 21, 000 is provided.

Really good infrastructure and teaching facilities, with good placements.
Placements: ​Our college provides 100% placement. Around 70-80% of students are placed till now. Top MNCs like Accenture and TCS visit our college. Many students secured internships at companies like Infosys to increase their skills.
Infrastructure: I think our college has the best infrastructure compared to other colleges in Kanpur. It has air conditioning in every classroom and faculty cabin. Every lab has Wi-Fi and LAN connections. Most of the lecture halls are converted into bio labs. There are many canteens and cafes.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Because of this, the students are ready to clear any test of the companies to get well placed. Exams are moderate and sometimes difficult so that we can gain knowledgeable content.

Choose btech instead of bca
Placements: College placement of bca is average.
Many good companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte, saplab , etc provide us opportunities to sit in placement drives .
College management provides special trainings to students related to their placements like mock interviews, hackathon training , aptitude training classes , and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of che building is quite good but not so large . Here classes are limited in numbers but students are not. Only 2 computer labs are provided to the students. Library is quite ok , any book related to your subject can be easily available there .
Canteen of college is nice and provide us good food with taste and quality and in very good and cheaper price .
Faculty: Teacher and faculty members are quite helpful and have knowledge according to their subjects. Teaching quality I can say is average, but the notes which are provided to the students are quite nice and beneficial for study purpose.
College organise two CTS of 20 marks, 1 pu and 4 assignments of 10 marks each .
Other: As I want to opt my career in software engineering so I chose this course . But honestly speaking btech with CS is far better than bca . If you are capable enough to persue btech then you should go for that rather than bca.

The labs also have adequate power connections.

Strong Placement Opportunities with Good Infrastructure
Placements: In the BCA course for the 2024 passing batch, approximately 90% of students were successfully placed through campus recruitment drives. The highest package offered was Rs. 7.25 LPA, secured by Deloitte, while the lowest package was Rs. 1.8 LPA, offered for a TCS trainee role. The average package for the batch stood at Rs. 3.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for BCA graduates include TCS, Accenture, Wipro, SAP Labs, and Deloitte. However, there were no internship opportunities provided during the course. Graduates were typically hired for roles such as Software Developer, Technical Support Specialist, Web Developer, and Database Administrator.
