The best private college .
Placements: In BCA, almost 60 percent of students get placed. The highest package in BCA is 8 LPA, and the average goes around 3 to 4 LPA. In PSIT, there are a lot of companies that visit, like TCS, Wipro, Pyramid Consultancy, Accenture, LTI Mindtree, and many more. In the BCA course, PSIT doesn't provide internships; it only gives you placements, but you can apply off campus. Graduate trainee, software engineer, web developer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: In Kanpur, PSIT has the best infrastructure compared to other colleges in Kanpur. Each and every classroom has centralized AC and projector soundproof rooms. PSIT has a large central library where you can get any type of books related to your course. And the mess food was good, which means you won't regret choosing the hostel of PSIT; it provides all types of essential facilities to their students. College has a separate gym for boys and an outdoor gym for girls and boys too. College has dispensaries for medicine. And always a ready ambulance.
Faculty: PSIT hires highly qualified teachers so that they can teach you better, and it also hires some trainers, like English trainers and technical trainers. And yes, BCA course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam was moderate, not so difficult.
Other: I chose BCA because of my keen interest in coding or computers, so I thought Kanpur PSIT is the best college to pursue. I wish our college provided internships too so we could get some industry-level knowledge. Yes, there is a big event called Ignitia that is held in the month of Feb. And PSIT has lots of clubs, and they do a lot of extracurricular activity.

An honest review of PSIT.
Placements: The placement percentage is approximately 90 to 100 percent. Top recruiting MNCs are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. Roles are basically associate level only. The highest package offered is 50 LPA and the least is 1.89 LPA. The majority are getting internships in MNCs such as Flipkart, Amazon.
Infrastructure: The college is a full Wi-Fi campus but is accessible to the students. The college is spread across 80 acres of land and is a green lush campus on the main Kanpur Delhi Highway. Libraries are only accessible in the period or exams. The labs are very good with updated systems.
Faculty: The faculty here is good and has sound knowledge in what they are teaching. They spoon-feed you with knowledge, but practical knowledge is limited; it's all theory. The course is best for the industry and has potential, and the college is helping the best to get students company-ready.
Other: BCA is more into the IT sector, which makes it lucrative, and BCA is both a management and IT field. If the college provides better practical knowledge, it would help a lot.

Choose btech instead of bca
Placements: College placement of bca is average. Many good companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte, saplab , etc provide us opportunities to sit in placement drives . College management provides special trainings to students related to their placements like mock interviews, hackathon training , aptitude training classes , and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of che building is quite good but not so large . Here classes are limited in numbers but students are not. Only 2 computer labs are provided to the students. Library is quite ok , any book related to your subject can be easily available there . Canteen of college is nice and provide us good food with taste and quality and in very good and cheaper price .
Faculty: Teacher and faculty members are quite helpful and have knowledge according to their subjects. Teaching quality I can say is average, but the notes which are provided to the students are quite nice and beneficial for study purpose. College organise two CTS of 20 marks, 1 pu and 4 assignments of 10 marks each .
Other: As I want to opt my career in software engineering so I chose this course . But honestly speaking btech with CS is far better than bca . If you are capable enough to persue btech then you should go for that rather than bca.

It is the best college in terms of placements, and it is working hard day by day.
Placements: According to me, no other college in Uttar Pradesh can provide as many placements as this college provides because the environment here is very good for students studying. Approximately 70-80% of students got placements. The highest salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, the college campus has been built very beautifully. Apart from other facilities, there are other facilities like a campus with Wi-Fi enabled, projector screens in every class, and lab facilities. The canteen staff is very neat. The food is better compared to other colleges. Medical facilities are quite good. Sports are less in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and friendly. Their teaching is above average. They are quite knowledgeable. If we talk about their teaching techniques and quality, then they are quite awesome. They teach according to the current changes in the industry. The course curriculum is provided according to the current situation. If we talk about semester exams, they are tough. The passing criteria are above 75%.
Other: I chose this course because I love it. The best thing about our course is that students never feel bored with this.

A good college. Its timings are from 9 AM - 5 PM is hectic but helps to be ready for corporate life.
Placements: More than 60% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Roles offered in BCA are associate, executive, customer support, etc. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, etc. In 2021, there was a corona period, so less than 10% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel facilities are good. I am a day scholar, and I don't know much about the hostel. The food is good. Extracurricular activities are held. There are different canteens on the campus. We can play sports after college, and students can stay if they want to stay.
Faculty: In PSIT, teachers are skilful, qualified, supportive, and professional. They are helpful. They can support students to be ready for corporate life. If students want to do things other than their timetable, they have to do overtime. Teachers can teach students subjects very well.
Other: I am good at computer skills so I chose BCA. I wish they had focused on one language instead of many languages during the degree period.

Strong Placement Opportunities with Good Infrastructure
Placements: In the BCA course for the 2024 passing batch, approximately 90% of students were successfully placed through campus recruitment drives. The highest package offered was Rs. 7.25 LPA, secured by Deloitte, while the lowest package was Rs. 1.8 LPA, offered for a TCS trainee role. The average package for the batch stood at Rs. 3.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for BCA graduates include TCS, Accenture, Wipro, SAP Labs, and Deloitte. However, there were no internship opportunities provided during the course. Graduates were typically hired for roles such as Software Developer, Technical Support Specialist, Web Developer, and Database Administrator.
Infrastructure: The hostel has good facilities, including Wi-Fi, and the mess food is decent, though it could use more variety. The canteen offers snacks throughout the day. There are basic medical facilities on campus, and for sports, there are fields for cricket and football, as well as a gym for fitness.
Faculty: The faculty are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most teachers had good expertise in their subjects, and the overall teaching quality was solid. The curriculum is fairly relevant to industry requirements, though additional learning through certifications may be needed to become fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging but manageable with regular study.
Other: I chose the BCA course because of my strong interest in technology and software development. One of the best things about the course is the balance between theoretical and practical skills. There are a few areas where the course could improve, such as providing more opportunities for internships and real-world projects, and introducing newer technologies like AI, Data Science, and Cloud Computing.
