PICT: Absolutely satisfied because of the placements.
Placements: Till now, a total of 310 students are placed in our batch, of which the students of the CS branch are up to 150 and I am in the CS branch. The highest package was offered by Phonepe and Palo Alto, and it was around 33 LPA. The average package ranges between 12 LPA and 20 LPA offered by companies such as Barclays, ZS, Siemens, etc. And the lowest package offered by Cognizant is up to 2.5 LPA. And also, the same companies also offered internships, in which 30% of the students got the internships in the 3rd year of the course. The roles offered by the companies are SE, QA, ST, GET, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college mainly focuses on the student's studies; that's why our placements are in boom. They provide us with a library with a proper study area and where students get the Wi-Fi for daily use. Also, the college offers a good hostel facility where the students get proper, well-furnished rooms and colleges are providing a good canteen facility where they offer a good variety of food options.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college are well qualified and educated. Most of them have Ph.D.s in their subjects. They are so cooperative that they are always available for the students. The subjects such as OS, CNS, DBMS, OOPS, and ML make the students well prepared for the placements. And the exams are the piece of cake for those who are able to take admission in our college and that's why our pass percentage is 100%.
Other: I chose this course because the IT industry is currently in boom. All the industries are shifting to 4.0 industrialization, where our CS, IT, and ENTC fields play an important role. That's why I have opted for this course. The improvements in this course are that the university-affiliated college should improve their syllabus more for the industry requirements. The college also conducts various events and one of the biggest event is Addition.

Join only if you can sacrifice your 4 years of life to just get a job.
Placements: More than 90% of students get placed through college placements. The average package is around 8 LPA. The highest is 33-34 LPA at PhonePe. (Only 2-3 students get this.) No companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, or Amazon came for on-campus placements. If you find someone telling you that these companies come to PICT, it's a total lie.
Infrastructure: I would give it a 0 for infrastructure, but there is no option for 0 stars, so I'm giving it 1 star. The campus is too small, just 4 acres, and in a crowded area, always noisy. There isn't a single place in the college where all students can gather and sit. Forget about sitting; all students won't even get a place to stand together.
Faculty: You will need to attend college to complete the attendance criteria. You will get nothing from lectures; you will start getting a headache by attending them, but you will need to attend for attendance. They never think about students' mental health; they will mentally pressure you as much as they want, and you can't do anything.
Other: There is nothing in the college other than placements. You can join the college if you can sacrifice your four years for getting a job. Regarding the crowd, the college has only a 4-acre area and more than 3000+ students. There are 0 sports activities; even a ground is not available. In the canteen, you will be unable to get space to sit; you will need to sit on the walls beside the internal road to have your food during breaks.

    PICT college honest review .
Placements: Placements are good, but there is too much competition. Take VJTI/CUMMINS/COEP if possible. The college also has separate dream criteria, and sometimes they shortlist students based on their CGPA. You can also consider WCE Sangli, as that college has no such criteria.
Infrastructure: The college campus is pretty small, and only the girls' hostel is bearable. The mess food is absolutely trash. Other than that, the college has a big ground where you can play a variety of sports, and the college also has indoor sports facilities like carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: Faculty members are rude, and in the practical exams, even if you perform well and your viva goes moderately, they will give you a B grade. They don't consider students' lives; even if you have important things going on, like interviews and other commitments, assignments are more important to them.

    Life at PICT for introverts.
Placements: For the 2024 batch, approximately 80% of students got placed on-campus. More than 100 companies visited our campus, giving students a chance to show their talents and skills and get placed in a good, reputable company. The average salary was 7 LPA, and the median salary was 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of PICT was not good. There were only two buildings and one hostel building for boys, with accommodations for less than two hundred boys and four hundred girls. There were no accommodations for boys in the fourth year. The playground was very small.
Faculty: The faculty of PICT was very good and always motivated students to explore and to take on real-world experiences. Regarding the curriculum and exams, as it is an SPPU-based university, the courses were not very interesting. Exams were very easy, and there was no need to study the whole semester.

PICT, is one of the best colleges but highly competitive.
Placements: I am still a fresher, but I have heard good things about the placements. This year Dell came and hired over fifty people from third year. Many other companies also come and give good international internships for the students. This is about the placements.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi all around the campus; the labs are decent but not very fancy; they do just fine. I do not know much about the hostel, as I have opted for living in a PG. But to my knowledge, the rooms are spacious; however, the common drawback that I hear is that the washing machine isn't available .
Faculty: Its highly competitive here, and it's very difficult to keep up. Teachers vary; some are good and some are pathetic. They recently made the course autonomous, meaning that they can update the syllabus according to their will, so as of now they try to make it relevant.

From Campus to Career: My College Review.
Placements: 94 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 33 LPA by PhonePe, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. The average package is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include PhonePe, Barclays, ZS Associates, Toshiba, ACI, Mastercard, and Arista Networks. Forty percent of students received paid internships from companies like Barclays, Mastercard, B.M.C., and Arista Networks. The roles offered are Software Developer, Trainee, Data Analyst, Associate Software Developer, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available free of cost and is fast. Labs are well-equipped with PCs and electronic tools like Arduino and PIC microcontrollers for E&TC students. A library is available, consisting of both technical and non-technical books. The hostels have spacious two-seater rooms, each equipped with a bathroom and a geyser. The mess food is average and can become boring within a few days. Sports such as cricket, football, and volleyball are played, and a gym is also available.
Faculty: All the teachers have an MS degree and teaching experience. The teaching quality is average; some teachers are boring while others are excellent. The curriculum includes important topics such as DSA, DBMS, and OS, which are essential for placements. However, writing assignments is a hectic task and not worth the time. Semester exams are not that tough, and most students manage to achieve above a 7.5 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to have a blended knowledge of both core subjects and coding. This college has a great coding culture. For improvement, I want the latest technologies to be introduced, as some areas still teach outdated syllabi that are not required nowadays. Various events take place, including non-technical ones like Addition and technical ones like INC. Various clubs exist, such as IEEE, PISB, PCSB, the debate club, art club, and NSS.
