Best placements, good faculty, organized infrastructure, more than average facilities.
Placements: My batch was of Information and Technology. Almost 92% of people are placed with an average package of 9 LPA. Every year, A students from the IT department receive a package of 47 LPA. In this college, only computer-related courses are there: Information Technology, Computer Science, EnTC, Artificial Intelligence.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, labs are plenty, classrooms are big, and the library is also big and has all types of books. There is also a multi-purpose ground and table tennis. The quality of the mess is above average, and the hostel is also big with decent facilities and resources.
Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced and explain the concepts thoroughly, providing many examples. Notes from the teachers are great, and overall, the faculty is undoubtedly good. The semester exams' level is good—not too easy, not too hard, with a pass percentage of 30%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to create gadgets, and the IT course will help me do that along with enrolling in an appropriate club that will provide me with information on how to build circuits. The crowd of the college is good, and many interesting events and fests are held. The campus is of average size and can be expanded more to have a bigger auditorium. The college has many auditoriums for every department, but one big auditorium should be there. You can apply for a government scholarship if you have taken admission through CAP grounds and not through the spot round.

Life at PICT for introverts.
Placements: For the 2024 batch, approximately 80% of students got placed on-campus. More than 100 companies visited our campus, giving students a chance to show their talents and skills and get placed in a good, reputable company. The average salary was 7 LPA, and the median salary was 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of PICT was not good. There were only two buildings and one hostel building for boys, with accommodations for less than two hundred boys and four hundred girls. There were no accommodations for boys in the fourth year. The playground was very small.
Faculty: The faculty of PICT was very good and always motivated students to explore and to take on real-world experiences. Regarding the curriculum and exams, as it is an SPPU-based university, the courses were not very interesting. Exams were very easy, and there was no need to study the whole semester.

The perfect college for students.
Placements: In our passing-out batch, 75 percent of the students were placed and got very nice salary package. The highest package was 50 LPA, the lowest was about 5 LPA, and the average was about 10 to 13 LPA. The top recruiting companies like PhonePe, Mastercard, Infosys, Adobe, etc. were present in our college.
Infrastructure: The buildings in our college are decent, but there are only two departments in one building; the other departments have their own separate buildings. Also, they provide us with Wi-Fi. The labs are of good quality and have nice benches. In hostels, every student is provided with a LAN, and the food is quite good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful for students and are highly qualified to teach us; they are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready The semester exams in this college are at easy-to-moderate-to-difficult level. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: The batch is made up of 900 students, of which 180 are information technology students.

Placements are good-13lpa .
Placements: Average package for IT department student was around 13 LPA for year 2022 and it is expected to increase every year. Placements for other 2 branches are also similar. Entc department students are also getting good placement in IT industry. In short PICT has very good placements.
Infrastructure: College provides great environment for study purpose and all the labs are well equipped. Faculty members are very well educated and have great experience in their field. There is one canteen in campus where u can get average food and you can spend your free time with your friends.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well educated and have vast experience in their own field. Curriculum of college is according the SPPU university. Exams are also according to Savitribai Phule Pune University pattern. If you want to get sgpa above 9 you must get percentage marks above 80%. .
Other: If you are mainly focused on studies and grabing nice package then PICT is for you.

I am not happy with campus life, and the campus is very small.
Placements: This college is well known for its placements in Pune. It has 100% placements. In the previous year, the highest salary package was 1.2 CPA by Microsoft. Many MNCs, such as Bloomberg, PhonePe, Deutsche Bank, etc., visit the campus. The average salary package is 12 LPA-13 LPA. Internships provided are also good. Most students are doing internships at Goldman Sachs, Oracle, BNY Mellon, Bajaj Finserv, etc.
Infrastructure: The college does not have a proper sports complex. The hostels are also too small. They can host a small number of students. The mess is fine. Classrooms and labs are well equipped. The college does not have that many buildings. All three courses take place in a single building.
Faculty: Faculty members are well trained. In engineering colleges, it's not how much teachers teach. It's about how much you do by yourself. The course curriculum is up-to-date. It prepares students to work in the industry. The semester exams are not that hard.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   Is Pune Institute of Computer Technology best for Engineering or not?

A:

Based on the search results, Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) appears to be one of the best engineering colleges in Pune and Maharashtra:

The search result states that if you are interested in pursuing a career in Computer Science/IT and could not get into the top NITs/IITs/BITS, then PICT is "most probably the best institute to be in" for students from Pune or Maharashtra.

The college is described as an "elite academic Institute" that has been "revolutionizing the education sector by nurturing skilled and industry-ready engineers." It is ranked 8th among private engineering institutions in India, 1st among all private engineering institutions in Maharashtra, and 4th among all engineering institutions (including IITs, NITs, and government colleges) in Maharashtra.

PICT is ranked highly, being placed in the 201-250 band in the NIRF 2021 rankings. Its undergraduate engineering programs are NBA accredited multiple times.

Therefore, based on the information provided in the search results, Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) can be considered one of the best engineering colleges, especially for students interested in computer Science and information technology fields.

Q:   How hard is it to pursue B.Tech at Pune Institute of Computer Technology?

A:

According to the search findings, obtaining a B.Tech degree at Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) presents a moderate level of challenge. Admission to PICT's B.Tech programme necessitates candidates to secure a minimum aggregate score of 50% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in their 10+2 or equivalent higher secondary education. Furthermore, applicants must attain a valid score in national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main or MHT-CET, indicating a competitive admission process.

The search results also highlight PICT as a respected institution, ranked among the top 250 engineering colleges in India by NIRF. It holds a strong reputation for its computer Science and engineering programs, suggesting high academic standards and expectations.

However, the search outcomes do not portray PICT's B.Tech programme as exceptionally arduous or unattainable for diligent and dedicated students. The institute appears to offer ample resources, facilities, and faculty support to aid students in their academic journey. To sum up, based on the available information, pursuing a B.Tech at PICT seems to be moderately challenging, requiring solid academic readiness and performance, yet feasible for motivated and capable individuals.
