I would recommend students to join this college.

Placements: Placements are decent. Many top recruiting companies visit our college for recruitment. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA.

I am satisfied with environment and good placements.

Placements: Around 80% of students who are opting for placements are getting placed and few students opt for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant and Wipro. Around 50% of students get internships. Top roles offered are team manager and team leader. It is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu for placements.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, but placements and infrastructure are good.

Placements: Placements in the college for students was based on the only CGPA but not on knowledge. Even the students have the knowledge and are interested towards big companies weren't allowed to go because of their CGPA. Companies that visit the campus were pretty average as they don't give exposure to the business world.

Very poor placements in 2016 and 2017.

Placements: The placement is very poor in this college. Many companies will come to this college for the placement, but they will recruit only 1 to 5 students. More than 1000 students will attend the interview in a single company. So only placement is very tough in this college. The bulk recruitment companies like TCS, Infosys will recruit only 100 to 150 students, and more than 3000 students will attend the interview in these companies. RMK group of colleges like RMK Engineering College, RMK-CIT College st...

The average college because of teaching methods, average faculty, and average infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has a strength of about 540 members so far around 350 students are placed. The placements are average. If you have knowledge in the coding, then you can easily get into any company. Coming to the packages, 10 lacs per annum is the highest, and an average package is 2.4 or 3.25 lacs per annum, and even it is the basic salary. The companies like Zoho, Amazon, Wipro, Wipro Telecom, TCS, CTS, Solition, likewise, the companies may visit in the year 2016, and around 90 companies visited ou...

Good for placements, but bad for knowledge and college life.

Placements: RMD Engineering College is known for their placement records. Till 2017, their placement records was great around more than 90%, but this year, due to IT recession, the placement is bit tough. Also, there are very fewer core companies recruiting from this college. Almost, many companies coming here are IT based.

I suggest this college only to nerds, those who want a good grade with a job and nothing else.

Placements: There are good placement opportunities from big ones like Amazon, Zoho, Infosys, etc. But only Amazon and Zoho pay you well while the rest of the companies offer you a package of 3.25 LPA. It is almost sure that you get a job if you don't have an arrear. But in recent times, the placement rate has gone down. Companies like CTS, Infosys and Wipro offer jobs on a large scale. You need to prove yourself, else you lose your job.

Dissatisfied with the college placements.

Placements: There are no good placements they only show call centres and good jobs for people who have good percentages they will not be taken if the persons having any backlogs in any of the following academic years so here by what I do finally conclude is it is not yet all fair in the placements.
