Review of R.M.K. Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are not much good in our college. Only service-based companies visit our college. Amazon does not visit our college frequently. TCS visits our college to recruit students.

I am dissatisfied with the ill-logical rules. Except these, everything on the campus is very good.

Placements: Four students from the IT branch got placed in Amazon with a salary package of more than 48 LPA. The average salary package offered is very low ranging from 3 LPA - 3.5 LPA. A very few educational dedicated students will only get a placement in good and bigger companies. Overall it is an average college.

Recruiting companies are Soliton, Zoho, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon and E&Y. A student got placed in Soliton, and 1 student got placed in Zoho. Top roles offered to the students are engineer trainee, programmer analyst and programmer.

Our college is very strict other than your expectations.

Placements: Around 80% to 85% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package was offered by Zoho, and it was 6.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package was offered by Comfosoft, and it was 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Dissatisfied with the way management running the college.

Placements: It's been four years since I completed my under-graduation. So I don't have any idea about the current scenario. Placement completely depends upon what you want. If you have some great aspirations and want to get into some reputed companies, then this place is not for you really. Otherwise, if you clear all your exams, you can easily get into any of the MNCs which recruits in bulk.

This was the college which provided me with a job and healthy food.

Placements: Nearly 40% of the students of our batch got placed through college placements which is the same for our senior batch. The highest package offered was 7 lacs per annum. Most of the service based companies like CTC, Infosys, and Wipro visited our college to offer placements. Product based companies like Zoho also visited our college to offer placements. We were offered an internship based on our semester marks.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the facilities like canteen and play ground.

Placements: Placements for the last batch were average, around 50% of the students were placed. Moreover, best companies came and recruited students from our college, but the percentage of the students who got placed are low. TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahendra, and so on, were some of the companies which conducted campus interviews.

I am not satisfied with the placement. In my department, students didn't get placed.

Placements: Many companies have visited our college. The companies that visited are mostly software companies like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro etc. Some core companies have attended our college, but the salary was very low. Moreover, we were promised that after getting placed in IT companies, we would be allowed to attend core companies which were not followed.

This is a college, where you can't enjoy.

Placements: Here, in the placements, three college students will be linked together to attend a company. Those colleges are RMK, RMD & RMKCIT so that there will be heavy competition for placement. For one company, more than 1K students will attend, and that company will recruit only 5 to 10 students. So, the placement is average only in this college.

Overall, below average college, I would like to say.

Placements: According to the current market, the placement records are very worst. In our batch, 75 percent of the students are placed, but in the next batch, I think only 50 percent of the students got paced. The salary offered on average was Rs. 3.25 lakhs per annum, but only a few will get it. Sometimes, the college had poor placement records.

The college is not bad. You can join and within the 1st year, you will be back to another college.

Placements: The placements are not bad. There may be placements for people who have more CGPA. The placements will not be 100% for all the people, and we can be placed in a company with less amount of salary who have CGPA less than 7.5, and it depends on the principal.

If you are searching for the college with studies and co-curricular activities, this is not for you.

Placements: When I entered the college, the placement percentage was 90%. When I attended, mostly 90 students out of 210 in my department got placed, and even the worst now. When we attended the placements, we cannot expect the product based jobs. Almost, 90 percent of the students will be placed in IT firms.

Partially satisfied with our college placement, teaching and infrastructure.

Placements: Last year placement was too good compared to this year placements. It is not just about how many companies visit. The vacancy is less compared to previous year. Our college tried to bring many companies, but the placements are very dull. The maximum package was 7.5 LPA.

Students are not exposed to the different conditions like talking to girls or having a friendly interactions with fellow mates. Well educated teachers are available but they only talk about studies. One of the top institutes in terms of quality of education. Pulls in extremely good faculties from various places for sharing their technical knowledge. Steps being taken to improve the communication and aptitude skills of students by pulling in coaching institutes which I would say as one of the biggest positives of this institute. Anyone who was there inside the campus will agree to the fact that it is one of the best places to be in with lots of greeneries and a clean environment. No complain...
