The college is totally good for students' studies, and it is also good for achievement in sports.
Placements: The college has good placement facilities, and every year students get placed in various companies. Every year 60% to 70% of students get placed. The placement team is working well for students. The main companies are Amazon, Oracle, Bosch Pvt Ltd, IBM, Toyota, JSW Steel, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is excellent. It's a totally beautiful campus with all facilities, a good canteen, and they provide good quality foods. No ragging on the campus, and sports grounds are good and provide all sports facilities. The hostels are good, and the hostel provides good, healthy food. The library is also good with all facilities.
Faculty: The exams are held by the VTU board. The exams are in every sem, conducted in college only, and also 3 internals are also there. Faculty members are good; they are teaching very well, and facilities give instructions to pass and score in exams. The curriculum is also good with all facilities.

RNSIT: The Good and the Bad.
Placements: According to the last placement data submitted to NAAC, the total placed students percentage was roughly 40 percent, which is pretty average considering the top recruiters are from mass hiring firms like Accenture and Infosys. They boast the highest package of 52 Lacs, but it's all fake; the most you can get is up to 15 -16 LPA, and the average package goes up to 4 to 5 Lacs. The internships situation is similar, with some students getting into companies with a max stipend of 50000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, to say the least. The buildings look very boring and prison-like, and the new ones have the same characteristics about them. The garden is the only beautiful place in the whole campus. Apart from that, every building is very basic with little to no amenities as expected of a tier 4 college. The hostel is the same, with only 4 sharing rooms available for first-year students, which you pay 140000 for. The curfew timing is 10 pm and the food quality of the mess is very bad. The canteen serves better food and really good coffee. Sports facilities are very mid, with the basketball court being too old to function and the football field with no grass. The gym is pretty small.
Faculty: Really, it is a hit or miss with the teachers. Some are hillbillies, whereas some have egos as high as Mount Everest. It really depends on your luck. Teaching quality is okayish because the curriculum itself is very bad, with outdated topics and worthless learning irrelevant topics, all while making your life progressively worse and making you unprepared for the industry. Semester exams and internals as well are average. The pass percentage of students is relatively high because first-year topics are easy.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in computers, but now that I am in this college, I realize the situation of tier 3 or 4 colleges, how difficult they make it for the students to actually make wise use of their time there. The curriculum is the root cause for all the bad things about this college. Then come the faculty and management. Events like Pantheon, the college fest, and other small events are there. The campus surroundings are okay. Scholarships are not provided by the college.

The best institute of 2024!
Placements: The percentage of students placed at RNSIT is average, around 40%. The highest package is 5.6 LPA, while the lowest is about 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are not present, and the internships provided are fewer than the placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the RNSIT hostel are poor and expensive, making it unaffordable for many students, who prefer to stay in nearby PGs. The labs and library are good, and the classrooms are decent, but they lack modern facilities.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very good, while there are others who do not teach well. However, we cannot say that all faculty members are bad; many are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose a Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence, which is currently one of the best courses in the industry. I would recommend choosing Artificial Intelligence in Computer Science rather than just Computer Science.

Basically, it's a top VTU college in Bangalore and they provide 100% placement.
Placements: 90-95% students got placed in reputed companies. The highest package was around 40-50 LPA and the lowest was 2.3-3 LPA. Sonata, Cognizant, Capgemini, and many others. Almost 50% of students got internships from our course, including roles such as Software Developer, Testing Engineer, Web Developer, and others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and they provide free Wi-Fi in classrooms, labs, and the library. They provide good lab facilities with proper systems and software installed. The food quality was good. The canteen ambiance is good with proper hygiene and good food.
Faculty: In RNSIT, teachers are often well-qualified (usually with advanced degrees in their field) and have substantial knowledge in their respective areas. Teaching quality is typically assessed through feedback from students. 90-95% was the passing percentage and students did not find it difficult.
Other: I chose CSE because of my passion for technology and problem-solving. The field offers endless opportunities to innovate, from software development to artificial intelligence and beyond. Events/Fests: Most CSE programs have tech fests, hackathons, coding competitions, and guest lectures that help students stay motivated and network with professionals.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2024

RNSIT is one of the best colleges in Bangalore for MCA candidates to complete their studies.
Placements: There is a good placement drive that takes place in our college, and around 20 members from my class were placed with a good package. The highest is 15 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. IBM, Sonata Software, Wipro, and Toyota are some companies that have visited our college for placements. Internships were completely done by students; there is no college-provided internship. Management system job roles and data security system roles were offered in our college.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure. All classrooms have projectors, and Wi-Fi is also provided to students. The labs are of good quality, and the library is decent. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good as well. The food in the hostel was decent enough, and medical facilities and sports were also very nice and quality-oriented.
Faculty: Good teaching staff, and all the faculty members have incredible knowledge. The curriculum was relevant as we were from a BCA background, and it was really useful for me. The exams conducted in college were of medium difficulty, so our semester exams used to feel easy to us. The passing percentage was 35 out of 100 marks.
Other: I chose this course as it's very helpful in building my curricular activities. The best thing about the MCA course was core knowledge about computer languages and efficient coding skills. There should be more technical support in the college, like high-configuration computers in the lab that should be provided. Events were conducted every month, twice or thrice, with a yearly fest. The campus crowd was around 600 students. Good planned infrastructure surrounded by greenery. Extracurricular activities were conducted like hackathons, etc.

RNSIT complete and honest review.
Placements: Over 60% of the students are placed from the 7th sem, which is quite a good placement percentage in the year 2024. The highest package offered was 26.65 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters like Infosys, Amazon, TCS still haven't visited this year due to recession, but they came last year. Internships are offered to students based on the technical test given by the companies. Roles like associate software engineer and tester are offered.
Infrastructure: A large digital library was recently made this year, benefiting many students, and it got a good Wi-Fi connection. Many playgrounds like a football ground, basketball ground are available. When it comes to the hostel, it is not up to the mark. They charge a high amount of fees, around ₹110000, but the food is the worst. So please don't join the hostel; join PGs which are available outside the college.
Faculty: Before 2022, the college staff and faculty members were very good and nice, but now the faculty is not as good; many of the newly appointed teachers joined the college with no teaching experience. But still, the notes provided are helpful for us. The staff are a little strict and don't allow students to take internal exams if they have a low attendance percentage.
Other: The course which I have chosen is ISE, which is quite good. But still, the CSE staff and management are better. The ISE department's teaching and experience should be improved. Overall, campus life is good; fests like utopia, parichay, interdepartmental sports competitions are conducted.
