Disappointed with the placements in core branch. Good for students who want the career in software.

Placements: Only software companies offer the placements. There is zero scope for the placements in core companies. If you want to have your career in the software company, then you can choose this college. Few companies recruit mass numbers of students. The average salary offered is around 3.5 lacs per annum. Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Mindtree, etc., are the leading companies. There is a placement cell. The placements are available for software students. For core branches, such as mechanical and civil the...

The college has good infrastructure, curriculum activities, and fests are average.

Placements: The on-campus placements are pretty good. More than 90% of the eligible candidates get job offers from various companies. A lot of companies like HP, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Bosch and much more visited the college placement drives. The highest package offered for the current year is around 35 LPA.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: As I am still a junior, when we notice the seniors batch, the placements were not very good. There were very fewer members who got placed. The companies like KPMG and many other came for the placement but they took only a few members like 15-20 out of 100 members were selected. The highest salary we can expect is 5 to 8 LPA, not more than that. The roles are like an assistant, trainee, junior executive, analyst. If the candidate has some technical knowledge, he can get techno-managerial role als...

The college has good placements, internships, faculty and crowd.

Placements: The placements in the college have always been above 95%. The mass recruiting companies like Wipro, Accenture and Infosys provide a package of 3.5 LPA-4 LPA. Also, companies like Deloitte and IBM visit the campus and provide packages of 6LPA and above. The students are encouraged to take up internships in the final year and companies which provide visits too.

It stands top in the list of VTU colleges with a number of job opportunities.

Placements: Murali Krishna, the placement officer calls around 40-50 companies. This is a good opportunity for students. Many companies have tied up with the college like Accenture, Robert Bosch, Sankalp Semiconductor, etc. The college provides placement, or ensures that every student gets placed.

Awesome college, good placement in my batch 2016. Almost 90% of the students got placed.

Placements: In my college, there is a very good placement officer. In my batch, almost everyone got placed, and some of them got jobs and internships in the very good MNC company. One bad thing is, if we got placed in any one company then we are not eligible for attending the other company interviews.

NSIT, the engineering excellence.

Placements: The placements were good, especially, for CS, IS, EC, EEE, and IT departments. More than 90% of the students have already placed, and still, 1 semester is left with a couple of mass recruiters, and many companies offering the high package as mechanical, civil and architecture are new branches, not much of placements there. If you wish to take admission other than these branches, then go for it.

An average satisfactory college with good infrastructure, but it should come up with more quality.

Placements: RNSIT started the civil branch in 2014-15. So, basically no one has been placed yet. They assured that if the academics and branch knowledge of the student are above average, placements are for sure. However, other branches have good placements, mostly with IT companies with 3 to 4.5 LPA salary. I have rarely seen MNC companies, but they do visit with high packages like 10 LPA.

RNS Institute of Technology College review.

Placements: Average placement of this college is 4LPA which is better than most of the colleges in Bangalore. Also, placements in 2017 have been pretty good, and nearly 60-70% of the information science students have already been placed in companies like the Accenture, Wipro, TCS, etc.

Very good infrastructure and pretty good teachers, but the placements for the mechanical are okay.

Placements: The placements were really good for students of other branches, but the number of core companies for mechanical was a very few. Around 80-85% were placed. Most of them got in Infosys, Wipro and Accenture. A lot of companies including Ola, CGI, Robert Bosch etc. come too.

It is better to avoid bad company at RNSIT.

Placements: The placements are better than average colleges of Bangalore. Most of the eligible students will get placed if they follow the placement and training centres regularly. Many mass recruitment companies are there for average students which is the best thing about the placements of this college.

ABC OF RNSIT - Always be cheerful.

Placements: Placement is quite good around here. Most of the eligible students will and surely get placed, especially in IT sector. However, many placement and training programs are there to help the students. Most of all it is the best placement college for ECE department in Bangalore.

Average, unattractive college and less fun.

Placements: To be honest, the placement offered were 7 out of 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, but our college students won Google summer code and had applied for the internship. Our college has a decent placement. Many companies visit and offer a good placement to the deserving ones. The maximum package offered was of 20 lakhs per annum. If you are in computer science and ECE, then you have a lot of flexibility.

Overall, a decent and good college.

Placements: Placements are fine here. Being an average private college, they're going well with some double-digit annual salary. Especially the placements are very good of ECE Branch and this college is popular by this branch in entire Karnataka. In-campus placements are fine but then it all depends on one's ability to grab the job. So, there are some students who got placed off-campus and bagged a package of more than 15 lakhs per annum.

Best for the MBA marketing students.

Placements: The placement is good for the students opting for the marketing stream. About 10 to 12 recognisable companies have come along with many others too. The minimum package offered is Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. The college receives very fewer companies for the finance stream. The HR stream also receives a good amount of companies for the placement.

I am satisfied with the college as a student.

Placements: The placements in RNSIT are good. Over the years, many companies like Wipro, Accenture, and Infosys visited the campus as the mass recruiters and recruited a good number of students. In the year 2017, even companies like GE and Media, net conducted interviews at RNSIT. The core companies like Sankalp Semiconductors, Bosch also held the drives in RNSIT. The average package is about 3-4 lakhs per annum. The placement coordinator is supportive.

The placements were nice in 2015, but the placements and the faculty are average.

Placements: Overall, the placements are nice if the students are eligible. The placements for CSE are good, mechanical and civil are worst. Usually, 90 out of 100 students are placed. The percentage of placement has gone down in recent years, but still, it is good. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM usually recruit engineers, sometimes Amazon type companies also come to the college.

One of the good colleges but not as you would expect

Placements: Poor placements but they advertise it as if there is 100% placement and a job for every student. They attract people by saying the number of offers but not how many students actually got placed. Placement training has not yet been started for us, the 3rd year students. There is less importance given to placements. The students get placed in pool campus rather than college campus placement.

Rama Nagappa Shetty Institute of Technology and Management

Placements: From the past two years, the placements of our department are above 80%. The highest package was 16 lacs and the lowest was 3 lacs. The average salary offered per annum was around 5 to 6 lacs. From third year onwards every student is offered at least 3 internships which many a times is provided by the college itself. Sometimes we have to go for internships outside on our own.

It is an above average college in case of academics.

Placements: The placements are good in computer science engineering. Reputed companies like Adobe visited RNSIT with an offer of 20 lakhs per annum. Nearly 93% of the students were placed this time. The lowest package offered was 3.5 lakhs/annum. The average salary is around 8 lakhs/annum.
