Placements: I guess no other college is having good placements as R.V. College of Engineering. Year by, year it increases but never getting less and even most of the new companies are preferring the students from RVCE and basically CS students. So for you, there is a large number of options for selecting the company and the companies like CISCO are highly paying companies. We will be getting more companies in our college.
Placements: 95% students got placed in our batch. Still, we are getting placements opportunities. I mean, 15 to 20 companies yet are to visit the college up to the end of June. The average salary will be 6 LPA and the minimum package will be 3.5 LPA. For mechanical, the highest package is 8.5 LPA. Reputed companies like Rolls-Royce, Robert Bosch, etc visited here.
Placements: Placements for our batch were good but when compared to the previous batch, it is less due to the fluctuation in the market, almost 90% of the students got placed. The highest package was offered by Walmart, around 18 lakhs and the average salary is around 4 to 5 lakhs. The roles were mostly related to software. Around 60% of the students got an internship.
Placements: Placements were not that bad for civil but our seniors got better placements. About 50% students were selected. The highest salary was 9.8 lakhs/annum and the lowest was 3.5 lakhs/annum. Companies like BHIM, BHL, Brigadier Bangalore, Accenture, Microsoft etc. visited for recruitment. They offer technical posts in their company. About 15% of the students got an internship from the college. The highest stipend offered was 15k and the lowest was 8k.
Placements: Placements are very good. Mostly all MNCs and reputed core companies come to recruit. All the departments mostly have 100% placements. The highest salary in EEE has been 14 LPA so far in 2017 and the average is 5 LPA. The top 20 students of EEE were selected for internships in top reputed companies like Boeing, Schneider, General Electric etc.
Placements: The placements of mechanical department were pretty decent this year. Big shot companies like Rolls Royce, ITC, etc. visited us with fancy packages. ITC gave 10 lakh/annum job while Rolls Royce gave around 8 lakh/annum. A lot of other companies have visited this year with decent packages ranging from 3.5 lakh/annum to 8 lakh/annum. Almost everyone is placed as of now. Few of them didn't opt for placements as they are planning for higher studies. A Decent number of core companies have visited. ...
Placements: The placements of RVCE are quite good as compared to other colleges in Bengaluru. This year total 177 companies had visited our campus till 1st of April,2017. If we talk about jobs above 8 LPA around 258 offers were made. The total number of offers made was 1071. Main recruiters were SanDisk, Cisco, Help chat, Bosch, PayPal, Seagate, eBay etc. This year placement percentage was around 90% including all branches, but placement is still in progress. If we talk about electrical and electronics, the...
Placements: The placements are very good. The HOD of the department has agreed to get Boeing, Airbus, IAF, ISRO to the placements. The placement coordinator has done a very good job in getting us internships in this summer school program. The faculty also helps in presenting papers and also helps in going to national and international conferences.
Placements: The placements were very good. Many students were placed in reputed national and few multinational companies. Even I got placed in Accenture and Bharatiya Construction. There are opportunities in every field and it will give you a good platform to start your career. The college has collaboration with the companies for internships.
Placements: Placements are really good. I myself got placed at Rs. 9.2 LPA in Futures First as a market analyst. Placements for coding students ranges from 3 LPA to 27 LPA (Amazon). Highest package offered is 27 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, GE, SAP, CISCO visit the campus for placements. Out of 1k students from 2017 batch, 70-80% are already placed. Companies also visit to offer internships to pre-final year students. Compensation offered ranges from 15-50k per month. Overall the placement...
Placements: The college has the best placements department in the Karnataka after the NITK, Surathkal. As per the stats of last year, all the seniors graduating from RVCE are placed with an average salary of 4.5 lakhs per annum. That's really interesting and a positive thing to be considered. The highest salary is 18 lakhs per annum and the lowest is around 2.5 lakhs per annum.
Placements: The placements here are good. The mechanical branch has a record of 90%(average) placements every year. The pay for mechanical branch students is a bit less compared to the circuit branches. Still, if you are clever enough, you can get a good placement package, but the opportunities are less. If you want more placement opportunities with a good pay, I would refer you to take EC, CS and EE(circuit branches).
Placements: BE students are placed but the same is not the case with M.Tech students. I don't know the exact number but the students from CS and EC background have good options. M.Tech students got more internship opportunities in our batch and the stipend varies from 15k to 35k. Companies visited were Intel, Oracle, Net app, Samsung, etc.
Placements: Placements for our seniors were very good. Only 8 students did not get placed out of 210 from electronics. The highest salary was 18 LPA from Walmart, lowest was 4 LPA and the average salary was 6 LPA. Very reputed companies like CISCO, QualComm, Texas Instruments and many more visited the campus and made many offers. The Full-time Employment (FTE) was sometimes backed by internship with stipends of average 10-15k per month. Some companies visited to provide internship and convert it into a PPO ...
Placements: For placements, this is the best place to study. Over 200 companies visited our college and almost 95% students got placed last year. Core companies also visit this college. In chemical department, most of the students go for higher studies, and the remaining students get placed in core companies such as Hindustan Unilever Pvt. Ltd., Reliance Industries Limited, Vedenta industries, etc. Not only in core companies but the chemical students get placed in business management companies such as KPMG ...
Placements: Placements are really good at RVCE, especially for CS student in this IT generation. Many of the companies during our placement time were mostly startups but the pay was very good. Placements for non-CS branches are pretty decent and they too end up getting good jobs but not as good as compared to CS guys. Very few students land in core companies, but the ones who get core jobs have good pay as well.
The infrastructure of the college is great with dedicated labs for particular courses, while the campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a well-equipped library. The hostel facilities for the boys is on campus with separate buildings for each year. However the girl's hostel is off campus with bus service provided. The neighbourhood is fine with an IT hub in the vicinity and the upcoming metro connectivity. The overall connectivity of transport is great. The mess food and the college canteen is great and th...
Pros: 1. Placements are awesome 2. Infrastructure is good 3. Brand name 4. Facilities inside campus are good Cons: 1. Most of the faculty are inexperienced 2. 85% attendance 3. North Indian domination in all clubs and activities 4. Internal evaluation is not fair process.
It is one of the best college for placements with good infrastructure, very helpful faculty, good teaching and encouragement for extracurricular activities like fests, sports, paper publishing, etc. The best college in Karnataka & stands one of the best in the country.
My college was one of the best colleges in Karnataka. I feel proud to have studied over there. The infrastructure of college is really good. Teaching has been awesome. Placements have been brilliant.
