Overall experience of RV College of Engineering .
Placements: Placements are very good in my college. Every year, almost 90 percent of students get placed. The highest package received by my senior is 92 LPA, and the average package is about 18 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. Companies like PhonePe, Google, Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz etc. Are the top recruits of my college. New companies also offer very good packages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good in my college. Labs and classrooms lack new technology devices and new PCs. Recently, they opened a very good new library with lots of facilities and new technologies, but the old library lacks the new and the number of computers and infrastructure and charging sockets for laptops.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and some are literally bad in my college, but they have egos. Coming to the academics courses in the first year and some courses in the second are useless only for marks. Semester exams are comparatively easier than the CIEs; these are the difficult ones. The curriculum is too good in my college; there are lots of clubs and lots of opportunities as well.
Other: Campus surroundings are among the worst, highly polluted places, and extra-curricular activities are too good. Events are regularly arranged, and fests are arranged a little bit rarely. Connectivity is a very good thing in my college.

One of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore with good faculty, facilities and placements.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students who sat for placements were placed. The highest package was around 90 lpa, the lowest was around 4 lpa, and the average was around 10 lpa. All major core and tech companies come here for internship opportunities; the college provides internships for the ones who are interested in its in-house center of excellence and competencies.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the department, ensuring connectivity for academic and research purposes. Access is granted to students and staff. The department has good labs such as the microcontroller lab, digital communications lab, digital VLSI design lab, etc. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, whiteboards, and projectors as well. The library is decent with almost all the necessary books. Note that a new library is being opened in the month of December 2024. Hostel facilities are decent, with good food and decent accommodation.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well experienced, and their teaching is very good. They are all very helpful; you can reach out to them regarding anything related to academics or careers, and they will guide you. The curriculum is well designed and very relevant to the industry needs; however, it is very essential for the students to also take up extra courses, such as NPTEL courses, to strengthen their knowledge. Exams are tough but can be cleared if studied; the pass percentage is roughly 85%.
Other: I choose this course as I am interested in electronics; also, it opens up opportunities for me in both core as well as software sectors, things that I think have the potential to improve the course, such as industry visits, seminars of professionals, company projects, etc. There are a few events in a year, but it's not the best in place. RV has good connectivity, and the alumni network and sports are highly encouraged here.

Review of RVCE College of Engineering.
Placements: About 40% of students were placed in the course. The average package was around INR 20 LPA. Recruiting companies included Bosch, Intel, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, BookMyShow, and other big tech companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and everything is kept clean and ready for use. The mess is okay, not the best, but meets expectations. The canteen is phenomenal, with great food, although it's expensive. It’s a big canteen with a nice outdoor tree area for sitting.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and ready to assist. Some are even great and encouraging. The curriculum has been revised many times, so it's up-to-date. The difficulty level is moderate, and you need 84% attendance to write exams for any subject.

Best placement opportunities for circuit branches and very good brand value.
Placements: Almost every other student who sat for placements was placed (except the people who went for higher studies). The highest package offered last year was 92 LPA by a company called UIPath for a student from the Information Science branch, and the lowest was around 3 LPA. The average package varied for every branch; for CSE and ECE, it was 15 and 12 LPA, respectively. Top recruiters were Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Qualcomm, Walmart, EY, KPMG, Texas Instruments, etc. Around 30 percent of the students got internships in companies like Texas, Microsoft, Samsung R&D, Walmart, Aveva, Oracle, etc. Top roles offered were field application engineer, SDE, SWE, product marketing engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is pretty decent, but sometimes it doesn't get connected if a lot of devices are using it on a single router. Classrooms are pretty decent; they are renovating all the departments, and the renovated ones are good with smart boards and green board facilities with good ventilation. The library is filled with resources, internet connections, and personal computers for usage. Hostel rooms are decent, but mess food is average; very little effort is put into improving the food, and various insects have been found in the food several times.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have doctorate degrees. They are approachable, and some of them are friendly also. Teaching-wise, they are good, but some teachers are not of any use at all; all they do is change PPT slides. The course curriculum has been through a lot of changes recently to keep ourselves updated, but it only includes surfacial knowledge, no hands-on project guidance by the professors. We have to make a project at the end of each semester, which helps us become industry ready. Semester exams are easy; whatever is in the notes, the same thing comes in the question paper, not challenging at all. The pass percentage is very high; around 90 percent of students pass on an average.
Other: Electronics is a good field to enter into due to a lot of upcoming market opportunities, and with the advent of AI, placement opportunities and college brand value are two things that are very helpful for me. More lab rotary sessions would be helpful for better understanding; a lot of events and tests happen in the college throughout the year, including E Summit, Kannada Habba, 8th Mile, Annual Sports Fest, etc. A lot of clubs are there in college for extracurricular activities and interests.

Perfect college for any student dreaming to be an engineer.
Placements: 80% of students were placed this year, and packages range from 11 LPA to 64 LPA. Top recruiters are Nvidia, Qualcomm, NXP, Texas Instruments, etc. 30% of students got internships in their 3rd year, and 100% got internships in their final year. Top roles are embedded system engineer, network engineer, software engineer, firmware engineer, VLSI design engineer, ASIC designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities: We have lift facilities in every department and in braille marking for the blind to recognize the stars and pathway. Properly ventilated classrooms with greenery around. Separate restrooms for different abilities and 24/7 surveillance for safety throughout the campus. Good medical facilities and many sports options available to engage. Don't know much about hostel food as I'm a day scholar. The library is pretty vast, with all kinds of books, proper Wi-Fi with a speed of 30 Mbps, and proper lab equipment, which are all new or perfectly maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have very good knowledge about the domain. Teaching quality is 9/10; proper interactive sessions are being implemented. ECE is an evergreen domain; hence we can go to any domain. The difficulty level is not too high; it's manageable, and 40% is the passing percentage, which actually promotes us students to push ourselves further.
Other: I choose it out of my personal interest. The best thing about my course is we get to learn hardware, software, and firmware together in the ECE domain, which is like an all-rounder in being an engineer. Fests are really good, the crowd is normal, and it's nearby many facilities; for example, we have a direct metro connection to the college GATE itself, which is the best thing any college could have, which makes my college more unique than any other. Good scholarships are offered, and they promote extracurricular activities through making students earn points for every extracurricular activity they participate in.

Certainly satisfied; good curriculum.
Placements: For industrial engineering, the placement percentage varies between 60 and 85%. The highest placement is around 18 lacs, the lowest is 6 lacs, and the average is around 11 lacs. Cisco, Flipkart, Airbus, and HPE are some of the top recruiting companies. The top roles offered in the branch are analyst, graduate engineer trainee, and supply chain engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the department are decent, with separate labs for various courses. The department is well-equipped with facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, computer labs, and projector-enabled classrooms. Campus infrastructure is not up to par and needs a major overhaul.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and qualified. The teaching quality is decent, and the course material provided is updated periodically in order to maintain relevance to industry standards. In semester exams, difficulty ranges from low to medium for most of the subjects.
Other: I chose this course due to its culmination of engineering and management principles and the wide variety of job roles it provides.
