Interested and eligible candidates can download the application form and post / courier it to the institute address or submit in person for admission to both BSc and MSc courses. Here are the R.V. College of Nursing (RVCN) admission process details:
- To be eligible for BSc admission, students must pass Class 12 as prescribed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with Science subjects-Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 45%
- Following are the documents required for admission for BSc:
- SSLC / Class 10 Standard Marks Card
- II PUC / Class 12 Marks Card
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Character / Conduct Certificate
- Photographs: seven Passport Size and three Stamp size
- On completion of the course, student should get registered with the Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC) and Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI)
- MSc has a total intake of 10 (five in Medical- Surgical Nursing, five in Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing)
- Following are the documents required for admission for MSc:
- SSLC marks Card for proof of Age
- Basic BSc/PC BSc, (N) Marks cards
- Degree Certificate issued by a recognised University
- State Nursing Council Registration Certificate
- Attested copy of the experience certificate
- Seven Passport size Photographs, four Stamp size photos
- MSc requires candidates with BSc in Nursing with minimum 55% in the aggregate and with minimum of one year of experience after obtaining BSc Nursing (Basic), in a hospital or in Nursing Educational Institution recognised by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and no experience is needed after graduation of Post Basic BSc Nursing degree; candidate must also be registered in any State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
