I am dissatisfied with faculty members and placements provided by them.

Placements: Placements for the mechanical branch is negligible, and no core companies visit the campus for the mechanical branch. Most of the mechanical students get placed in IT companies, i.e., TCS. Students from the computer and IT branch gets placed in a reputed firm and almost all companies visit for them. If placement is major concerned for students in the mechanical branch, then they should not think about this college. It is more suitable for computer and IT engineering. The highest salary package o...

This institute is not good for excellent education.

Placements: The college provides the best placements for IT and computer science departments. Other departments have fewer placement opportunities, especially for the mechanical branch. Here, the placement officer is from IT background. Hence, there are placements for IT and computer departments. There is no placement preparation conducted in this institute.

Totally a boring college. The placement is okay, but there are no placements for civil.

Placements: There are no placements for civil. The placements are available for computer, ENTC, mechanical and IT. Core companies also visits the college except for civil. The companies like TCS, Ashok Leyland etc., visit the campus every year. Also, companies provide internship for 3rd-year students.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure and placement on the campus.

Placements: The placement of the college is not good as it has a low pay scale for civil, but good for IT, ENTC, and computer, and for a mech, it has some placement. The canteen of the college is not good because most of the students reject its canteen condition. The faculty members in the civil department are not well-trained, and they are trying to give the knowledge only to pass the students for university exam.

More like a school and waste of money and time.

Placements: Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, L&T Infotech, Synechron, etc. pay a visit to the college and offer decent packages to the students ranging from 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum approximately. Every year, 60% to 70% students get placed among which the major recruiter is TCS. The number of students placed from IT, computer, and EN&TC branch is very high as compared to the students from the mechanical and civil branch. Every year, one or two students manage to get a package of up to 1...

Below average placements, bad infrastructure, and extremely costly.

Placements: Placements were 65 percent only. Major recruiters were TCS and Tech Mahindra. Some of the companies which recruited some students were Cybage and Fiserv. The highest package was 3.25 LPA by TCS and the lowest was around 1.25 (BPO-Amazon). Roles offered were like assistant systems engineer, etc. Internship was not compulsory in the college.

Strict for education, curriculum. Worst placements in 2014.

Placements: The placement for my batch was not as good as my previous batch. A student (with first class) can guarantee his placement in only two companies (TCS and L&T). After that, one/two MNCs will visit as per the market and college grade or else he has to find his own way. The highest salary offered is 3.18 lacs.

College doesn't have proper Management. There is no such type of Student Union to raise students’ voice. College always asks for money in some or another form. Also College does not encourage students in Extra-Curricular activities. College only cares about the marks and not the overall performance of the child. Only thing is faculties are somewhat dedicated and college is strict in attendance. One last thing, whatever college portrait at the time of admission, half of the things doesn't exist.

RSCOE has gained some credibility through its years of functioning. But, I would not recommend people to attend this college. Quite a large amount of politics and partiality is practiced by the department of Civil Engineering in particular. For the astronomical fee that it charges, it is not worth the money. The crowd in particular is not good. Some faculty members are worth it but the others... well, let's just say that a fresh graduate would have done a better job. Also, to survive here, you n...
