Placements: IT batch was started in 2020 December and will pass out in 2025 but the petroleum and chemical branches' average placements are 9 and 10 LPA so I think we can expect better placements in IT as well. as students in this branch are all jeed advanced qualified. and are also very hard working.
Placements: Around 90 to 100% placements are provided. The highest salary package is around 20 LPA and the average salary package is 6-7 LPA. IOCL, Torrent, Reliance, Adani, and TCS are the recruiting companies. Internship assistance is provided by the placement cell. Roles are generally inclined towards oil and gas like Management trainee, oil and gas analyst.
Placements: Branches like Information Technology and Artificial intelligence have started recently, so no batch has passed out yet, and placement reports regarding these branches are missing. However, branches like Chemical engineering and Petroleum engineering got placed with the highest salary package of 22 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Students in these branches have managed to get placement and internships by companies like ONGC, HP, BPCL IOCL, etc. Roles like an assistant executive...
Placements: My batch is the 2nd batch in the college for computer Science engineering But earlier college had petroleum engineering and chemical engineering courses. The placement of earlier are best in all possible ways. The highest package offered was 20LPA from ONGC. ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, Adani. Etc., are the recruiting brands.
Placements: The previous year, the placements were awesome. The percentage of placements was about 80%. Some of the brilliant students got placed in top MNCs like ONGC, Bharat Petroleum, etc., with a package of more than 15 LPA. The average package offered is about 10 LPA. Placements: In 2019, Placement of RGIPT was good, especially in petroleum engineering. I myself got placed in one of the best PSU (ONGC) of India. Total of 27 out of 30 eligible students got placement in different companies. 7 students (one with GATE get selected in ONGC with the highest package of 19.50 LPA. And some other companies like Essar Oil, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. Average batch package would be around 9 LPA.
Placements: Our MBA batch of 2016-2018 was a small one with just 16 students. Every one of us opted for major companies in the marketing domain. Five students were offered jobs in PSUs, i.e., one student got placed in BPCL, and the rest of the four students were placed in IOCl. Around 5 students got placed in Adani Gas Limited and IOAGPL, and three students got placed at RIL. Around two students got placement offers from both Adani and RIL. The salary package offered by PSUs is above 17 LPA. The salary pack...
Placements: The placement scenario at RGIPT is as good as prime IITs. In 2017, petroleum batch placement percentage was over 70%. This year's chemical batch has 14 students placed in oil PSU's out of 21 eligible for placements. Two companies are still about to come this year. Placement opportunities will grow in coming years as oil PSU's start exploring more basins in India.
Placements: 40% placements and 20% in PSUs which tells us that there is good placements but internships in private companies is missing, college has less no. Of students and is situated in a regional place so, many companies (private) don't know about it but soon it will be known.
Placements: The placements were good. A lot of petroleum companies like Reliance, ONGC visit the campus and take a bunch of students everytime. The salary were mostly 9-18 lacks range. This college attracts a lot of PSU companies. This college is of national importance and studying here is a royal feeling.
Placements: Placement at rgipt is improving year by year, when I first joined college placement was good I. e almost 50% batch was placed and many of them were in maharatna psu's like oil, iocl, ongc, bpcl, etc. So it is a matter of pride, getting a job in maharatna psu's of CTC 17 lacs approximately. After that year next two years placement scenario improved by 5% per year and this year hpcl too joined the party of CTC worth 17 lacs.
Placements: Placement rate are not constant, every year there is certain variation. Major PSU's (IOCL, BPCL, HPCL)do recruit students from our college every year. All leading PSU take direct interview of college students, also private companies like Reliance Ltd. And Infosys recruit students from our college.

It is one of the best colleges and offers B.tech and Mtech in petroleum engineering and chemical engineering. It also offers MBA programs. It is an institute of national importance and is a university. It comes under the top 100 colleges on the president’s list. Faculty members are good and the education is high standard. You will always be busy with stuff like quizzes, assignments, exams etc. Major companies like ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, SHELL, OIL INDIA, ADANI etc. recruit from here.
Classes are very interactive. Faculty members are too good. Course syllabus are excellent. Campus life is not so good, but when permanent campus will be complete, then campus will be good. In my opinion everything is okay, except the placements. They offer two branches - Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. All the chemical people placed in refineries and the petroleum people placed in hard jobs in petroleum field like drilling, production, or cementing etc. I recommend this college, ...
It is a very good collage with more than 70 percent Placement every year With good packages and good company come in this institute. It is one of the best institute in India for petroleum technology. All company of India for petroleum tech come in this institute so I say all student can have a look for this college.
It is India's best college for petroleum technology. A college with good course contents and proper study facilities. The professors here are good, some being partial to marking. But proper interaction with the industry is not there, as a result, many companies don't know RGIPT properly. Placement scenario is not well developed.
