1. The institute is well versed with good academics and good students. 2. Takes intake through IITJEE advance merit list only. 3. Courses being taught are at par with world class standards. 4. Infrastructure is poor, hopefully the institute will shift into its full-fledged campus at Jais by 2016. However every year the date keeps on shifting, hence no guarantee. 5. Rae Bareli, as a city sucks. 6. Placements are equivalent for both branches, and are actually not good, in terms of number of studen...
Placements: Placements provided in our college for chemical and petroleum branches are average. The highest salary package offered by ONGC in the petroleum branch is 24 LPA and the minimum salary package is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered in the chemical branch is 22 LPA and the salary package offered to computer related branch is unpredictable.
Placements: About 100% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package was Rs.18000 per month, the lowest salary package was Rs.8000 per month and the average salary package was Rs.13000 LPA. There are 30% of the students who get an internship like OIL, IOCL, NRL, BCPL, Calicha, etc. The top roles are don't give up and be patient.
Placements: The placement at RGPIT is far better than any other college offering petroleum engineering. Huge PSUs like ONGC, Oil India Limited, IOCL, and HPCL offered placements to 4th-year students. Companies like Reliance Industries, Halinberton, and Petronet have also recruited students.
Placements: Placements are good in the campus in core and non core also although reservation helps a bit. Our director is putting all his efforts to increase the percentage of placements although it was good but needs to improve alot. If you clear GATE you can definitely get placed with some high package.
Placements: Placement here is very good. Students get easily placed in psu (Indian oil, HPCL, BPCL, ONGC, OIL) with a package of 12 to 20 Lacs whis is a very good package. But very few private companies visit here but this problem will be solved in upcoming years.
