Good infrastructure with no good placements.

Placements: Very few students are placed through campus. All IT companies visited except jio. So there is no any core company job for extc engineering. Only few (8-10) students were placed in TCS, L&T had a good package around 3.5 lacks. Job profiles are purely IT-based. There are so many selection rounds.

Good faculty members from the second year onward yet the other facilities are not at par.

Placements: There were a total of 140 students in my course. There are very few companies that come to our department. The internships we receive are also not that great but compared to other colleges they arent that bad either. The highest package offered according to me was around 10 Lacs and the average package was about 4 Lacs.

Some faculty members don't have a good relationship with students.

Placements: Placements for computer science, information technology, and EXTC students are very good at this college. For mechanical students, placements and job opportunities are very less. The highest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA for the year 2019-2020. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA for the year 2019-2020. L&T, TCS, Reliance, Wipro, Infosys, Tata Power, are the top recruiting companies.

RGIT offers a fun life, and you can develop knowledge and skills on your own.

Placements: Only 30% of the students get placed at RGIT, and the other 30% pursue masters from abroad or an MBA. Almost 10% tend to pursue entrepreneurship or join family businesses, and the remaining 30% are unplaced. You won't get a job in electronics or telecom at RGIT. You will be selected by an IT company either TCS or L&T Infotech. Top roles offered are a software developer and testing at the campus that too for CS, IT, and EXTC students. RGIT is for those students who scored less in CET and can't get any college.

Placements: RGIT has a total of 5 different streams with an intake of 120 students, so it becomes difficult for them to provide placements to all. In our batch, 50% of the students opted out to pursue masters from abroad. The remaining who were looking forward to placements didn't get many opportunities. The highest salary package and average salary package offered is kind from the same range, which is 3-4 LPA. TCS, L&T Infotech is the only major recruiters visited on campus in our time, the rest recruit 3,...

Overall there are some positives and negatives. However, it's quite a good place.

Placements: Companies like Infosys, Larsen & Toubro, and other companies visit the campus and select good and capable students. Even the salary at the start doesn't meet the student's satisfaction unless and until your grades are set to very high standards. Even from last few years, the placements have increased by 10% which is good for the students.

Placements: Placements of our batch and senior batch were average. Almost 60%-65% of students from both the batches were placed. Most of the student got placed in IT firms, and very few students get placed in core sectors. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Zycus, Antimu, etc., are the regular visiting companies. Placements: Placements for the mechanical department are not that good. If you are from branches like IT and computer science, then you will be offered good placement opportunities here. Satisfied with the faculty and good placements.

Placements: Our college has a decent placement record every year. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The highest package offered this year was 10 LPA, and the highest package for core placements was 7.5 LPA. We will be sitting for placements next year i.e., 2019. Mostly technical fields have the highest placement records. This year, almost 90% of the students who appeared for placements got placed. I would give 3 out of 5 for placements.

Placements: Last year, Jhonson & Jhonson visited our college to recruit students from the instrumentation department. However, very few companies, i.e., 3 to 4 companies visited our campus. The mainline of placement is based on your CGPA and your extracurricular activities. You are allowed to sit for the placement drives conducted by other departments. Review of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. Quite a lot of reputed companies do visit our college, and we have the good fortune to join these prestigious companies. We need to get trained for placements, I feel. We need more soft skills training programs in our curriculum to successfully conquer the interviews.
