Being a government college, RIT is a very good college with a good faculty and good infrastructure. It is a place where you can express yourself. You will get maximum placement assistance. They don't spoon feed the students. With the minimum expenditure, you will get maximum advantage. You will get every possible opportunity to prove your skills.

The best part of my life was spent in this college. It certainly had all that atmosphere that you expect from a good campus. It provided good facilities and infrastructure. The placement is plenty for all streams. It always promotes curricular and extra-curricular activities for its students.

It is an awesome college, the crowd and faculty in the college is awesome. Facilities are good enough for student. Campus and infrastructure is also a worth. Fees for the courses are good enough, one can pay easily I guess. Worth the money, campus facilities are good.

The first impression of the architecture of the building is simply awesome. Attendance is compulsory and the only key to be All-Clear in academics. General everyone gets the placement if your percentage is above 60%. Canteen is affordable & better to taste. Library, laboratory & classrooms are non-A/C. Professors are dedicated but theoretical knowledge is delivered more. Rather than projects & internships, midterms & assignments are prioritized more. Saturday & Sunday are complete holidays throu...

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology is a decent college to complete your engineering degree. At Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology you have good companions. You need have a good image in front of your professors for things to function smoothly. The college is located at a good location i.e. versova. There is a direct bus from Andheri station also versova metro station is at 10 mins walking distance.

Pros: 1. Location 2. Social life 3. Quality of students Cons: 1. Worst placement 2. Extra-curricular The placement for mechanical engineering is really very low, even below 10%. Also the college doesn't entertain students participating in extracurricular activities like SAE. And finally, there are a lot of worthless seminars on higher studies which students are already well aware about.

Very good crowd. Superb infrastructure with Wi-Fi facilities no campus though average faculty if u want to work hard during your four years then do join not a college for soft hearted people results are very poor as checking is very strict if you are hardworking person and want to dedicate your next four years for studies only then do join

One of the best Engineering college in Mumbai Suburbs. Faulty are very helping and gives their best to meet student’s requirement in academics. College has a big campus and open air environment which makes it much better place to learn and grow. Crowd and placement is also satisfactory which gives added advantage.

In RGIT, I’ve been there as a direct second year diploma admission to degree, but the faculty is so friendly and adorable that I never felt as different students then others. Crowd is also helpful and teaching is also up to mark. Canteen food is pure vegan with quality and hygiene maintained.

Starting from the gates to the infrastructure to the teaching in RGIT the journey has been memorable. The four years that I spent was truly been a journey from being nothing to an engineer. Pros: 1) Good Teaching (specific to my branch) 2) Good friends to make 3) good location Cons: 1) Poor washroom facilities 2) No A.C in college classroom as well as in lab. 3) Excess fees 4) No College Ground 5) Only vegetarian food is available in canteen 6) Poor campus placements 7) Faculty is strict 8) L...

If your want to do engineering then opt for IITs or NITs or any autonomous college. This is a college with no campus, no sports ground and poor professors. Old-aged professors with no interaction with students. If you are a very bright student then only you would be placed. Average or below average students have to suffer after they completed the course. My batch mates were given KTs because they preferred sports to lectures. Please opt for other college which atleast provides you with some pl...

The infrastructure is impressive. Computer department faculty members are very rude except HOD sir. College campus recruitment is good. 60-70% of student from computer department gets placed every year. In short not so good college. But infrastructure is nice.

Established in 1992, RGIT stands among the top engineering colleges in MUMBAI. Though the likes of VJTI, SPCOE and KJ are preferred on the academic front in mumbai circle, RGIT has made its own name considering all round results. With the 2014 batch of mechanical engg seeing highest package of 12 Lacs (HALLIBURTON Ltd) there has been an increase in the companies coming for campus interviews in recent years. The students from this institute have received job offers from companies like Halliburton...

Faculty is extremely disappointing, with no knowledge whatsoever in the respective fields and expecting students to be Einstein. A dragged on compulsion for attendance. Infrastructure is good but let's face it walls aren’t going to teach you. The crowd and campus life is good. Faculty is not really supportive of sports and other extracurricular activities. All in all would not recommend it to anyone.

The first thing one is sure to notice when he/she enters the campus of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) is the impressive academic building. There is ground available near to the college for outdoor activities such as cricket and football. The college has comfortable classrooms. The professors are strict when it comes to academics and students are permitted late admission up to five minutes post the commencement of the class. The college canteen offers a wide variety of food (both v...

Good teachers. A little not so good administration. Good location. I feel a better industry experience if given can motivate students to be more productive. Also, the staff is co-operative but you have to take the lead in reaching out to them. The courses here are good.

Good college, Average placements

Placements: The placements here are not that great. Very few companies visit with average packages. This is not an ideal college if you are looking for really good placements. The students and peers are supportive. Highest package is 12 lpa. Lowest is 2 lpa. Top recruiters were Wissen, Micron.

Placements: More than 75 percent of the children got placed, with the highest package being 15 LPA and lower packages at 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Amazon, and many others. The top roles offered by my college are in computer science, artificial intelligence, and data science.

It is good for a student who comes to college for time pass and does not want to study.

Placements: 81% of the students got their placement on campus with around 8 lacs per year. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and Tata. All roles offered are at beginner levels. Last year, not many even managed to pass to get into the interview.
