Detailed analysis of RLAC by a senior.

Placements: Approximately 2–3 students get placed in college and most students don't even have the confidence to sit for the placement. The college has a placement cell, which can help students get placed. Students and teachers are still working to make it good. I hope they will be able to do it soon.

Placement problems are there in college.

Placements: There is not much placement in our course at B.Sc. level and on average, 30 percent of the total strength gets an internship. Being a student of geology, one should be a field geologist, hydrologist, mineralogist and so on. There are many, like ONGC, ISRO, Oil India and GSI, that offer internships as well as placements at M.Sc. level.

It is an average college under DU.

Placements: Our class strength is over 60. Only 2 to 3 students get internships. The salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit our campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2015, good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement scenario is not good in the college. Below average companies do come into the college. But the salary offered is not good. The highest package could be 2 to 3 LPA CTC. Companies keep coming for internships and all. You could easily find one but the job offered by them would be sales and content writing in most cases. Still, many students sit for placement and get the job. Companies like Whitehat Jr., Upgrade, Sharekhan, and some ed-tech companies had recently offered the job roles.

The college is quite average, and it is quite boring in there.

Placements: There is a separate placement cell and society in our college, and they always send you information about internships, and they are quite responsive.

Average college with all basic facilities. Average infrastructure and other facilities.

Placements: Placement scenario is not good in the college. Below average companies do come in the college. But the salary offered is not good. The highest package could be 2 to 3 Lacs CTC. Companies keep coming for internship and all. You could easily find one but the job offered by them would be of sales and content writing in most of the cases. Still many student sit for placement and get the job. Companies like whitehat jr. , Upgrade, Sharekhan, some ed-tech companies had recently offered the job roles.

The fee for a DU college is high, which doesn't live up to the fee.

Placements: I suggest others not to expect any prominent company to come for on-campus placements. The college is not that popular among tech giants. Mostly mass recruitment happens here. Off-campus placements would be better if you acquire a decent skill set and are willing to work.

Satisfied but improvements needed, placements needs improvement.

Placements: Majority of our seniors opted to go for pursuing Master's degree. Our super seniors are pursuing Masters from Delhi University or BHU and some are preparing for acturial Science. Seniors got placed in bank and acturial firms at average package of 3.5 lac per annum. Placement scene is little bleak as only last year campus placements were initiated, that too was not related to domain. Placement cell is also newly established. It's not much active but it helps in internships under Swacchh Bharat Ab...

Satisfied with infrastructure, satisfied with crowd, want something more from faculty.

Placements: Not any good placements, only some companies visit and they too doesn't offer a fair salary. I think only 3-4 students from whole college will go for such placements. The highest placement is upto 20000 approximately. I have came to know that it is only 2- 3 years ago that companies has started to visit to our college, so o don't think if someone is looking for placement after B.Sc. then this college is a good option.

About Ram Lal Anand College.

Placements: I'm in currently in first year so we do not have placements for our batch. However, our college does have a placement cell. The placement cell isn't very active. This can be seen as only one company visited the College this year. Amazon came this year and hired around 12 students giving them the salary in the range 1.2l to 1.5l an year. The students were offered the job of working in the call center by Amazon. The other companies that have visited previously include IBM INDIA, Genpact, AON Hewit...

It was an enjoyable journey in our college.

Placements: Around 30% of students from some particular courses like B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics, etc., got placed. Amazon was one of the companies that visited our campus to offer placements. Placements were very dependent on courses in the college because companies give placements to students of some specific courses.

Statistics teachers are really good, but for campus life, it needs to arrange more events and fests.

Placements: There wasn't any placement cell in our department. However, there were placements in other courses or departments. Internships were also not encouraged here, and if students are interested in internships, then they have to find it on their own. Top roles offered in this course are a data analyst, business analyst, consultant and data scientist.
