Placements: I am currently pursuing a Mathematics Honours degree at Shivaji College (Delhi University). Last year, 50% of our batch from the 3rd year were placed. Most of the big companies like Deloitte and TCS visit our college for recruitment.
Placements: The Shivaji College placement cell organizes internship fairs, lectures, seminars, and industry visits to help students in learning the nature of the workplace. It also invites several reputed companies and organizations to participate in the Shivaji College placements program. The Shivaji College placement cell organized a job and internship fair, and more than 35 companies interviewed around 450 students there. The college has a placement record of 50-60%. Students have received salary package...
Placements: The placement of my college is not at all good as per my B.A., and I do not find so much good placement in our college because maximum placements are provided to the management category and not so many companies visit for college as it is a government college.
Placements: There were almost 150 students. The highest average package was 19 Lacs, and the lowest was almost 5-6 Lacs. There were many companies, like Tata, etc. Almost 30-40% got placement. The placement system is good, and good companies offering jobs come to the college. You can simply get a job.
Placements: Placement opportunities at Shivaji College are good. Many large MNCs recruit from our college, but they tend to hire students with good grades. To get placed, we need to learn the skills required by employers. There are certain student organizations that can help us do this, such as the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) and the Placement Cell, which teach students the skills needed to work in corporate settings.
Placements: Their is no placement as such in college. The placement cell is there but it doesn't really provide useful or good placements. Mostly students opt for Masters after their Bachelor degree or either prepare for competitive exams like UPSC, etc. You can still apply for off-campus placements.
Placements: In our college, there is no scope for placement in our course. In our course, anybody didn't get an on-campus job. You should do a Master's after that. But the faculty of our department is very rich in knowledge and helpful. Facilities are 5-star, but due to lack of student coordination, there is no placement in our college.
Placements: There are not many placements for our specific course, but the college does have an internship and placement cell. Many students secure placements every year. In recent years, our senior got a 24 LPA package from the B.A. Programme course. Overall, the college provides decent internship and placement opportunities.
Placements: Around 89.4% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 34 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA to 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is almost 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, TCS, DE Shaw, and Infosys. The internship opportunities vary from year to year. On average, 76% of students from our course secured internships as senior software developers, data analysts, etc.
Placements: College placements cell is very hardworking and understanding. Top students have successfully been placed. Some of our college alumni hold very good packages, and they also passed out from the campus where we are studying now. So, it depends on our hard work.
Placements: Placements at Shivaji College are pretty good. But since I am from science, I don't know much about the arts and commerce students. Pass-out students got a salary package of 16 LPA. Most students from a science background go for higher studies rather than placements.
Placements: Placements from the college are not exceptional, but the placement cell is active. Students are expected to reach out to companies themselves. Internships are helpful to get experience certificates, which could be useful for future job applications. However, less than 10% of students make use of this placement cell.
Placements: This college has a very low profile in placements because it's a degree-oriented Institute. It doesn't provide much more about secure jobs or internships. There are placement societies and events that ensure interviews. They help to progress our performance in securing jobs. Mostly, it's an average source of jobs.
Placements: This college is one of the best in the off-campus sector, but the syllabus of the teacher is not completed in the semester, and this college gives 40-60% of placement. The highest average package is INR 14 LPA, and the minimum average package is INR 4.5 LPA. 45% of students get internships from the college.
Placements: Almost 60% of students get placement in my course, and the average salary is 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are Techcurators, Kamarth, Ditto Insurance, and etc. On average, 65% of students get internships, mostly students get internships in Delhi University itself, such as the Vice Chancellor's office, student council, etc.
Placements: College placements are up to the requirements. Most students prefer to do a Master's ahead of this course. In our college, different science-related programs are conducted every year. Summer internship is also offered to students, which helps most in building CVs.
Placements: B.A. honours Political Science has a good scope. Shivaji College provides the best internship for students. Although packages are average or below average in it, after M.A. and Ph.D., good packages can be availed from this college, also like other colleges of DU.
Placements: The highest package offered by the college was around 20 LPA, which was from the B.Com course, and the average package was around 6 lacs per annum. Around 30-40% of students were placed from the college, and the students who don't get placed go for higher studies in India or abroad.
Placements: History students often find internships in sectors such as content writing, museums and museology, content creation organizations, and social interaction. The highest package was 4 to 5 lacs, and the lowest was 2 lacs. Top recruiting companies include educational and research institutions, public sector and government agencies, etc.
Placements: Placements are terrible. You have to find and do internships on your own without any support from the college if you're expecting placements. There is a placement cell and internship cell in the college, but they are not very effective. Most science course students have very low chances of placements.
