Review of M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

Placements: MSRIT has good placements, especially for the non-circuit branches. For the core branches like mechanical and civil, it is average. The mass recruiters are the regular visitors to this college which ensure that 90% students have a placement before finishing their graduation. The highest package for the CS department was 25 lakhs and for the mechanical department, it was 10 lakhs. So if you want a decent private college which can give you a 3.5 LPA "job", this is the place. ...

My experience and life at MSRIT.

Placements: The placement scenario in the college was very nice and up to the mark. Approximately 80-90% students got placed in my batch. The companies visiting the campus were Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, L&T etc. The package offered was 5-6 lakhs per annum. The placements at MSRIT were not a big deal because the students were very talented and most of the students got a very good package from the companies.

Good placement and exposure- low on facilities.

Placements: Placements depend upon the branch you are getting placed in. Anyway, the numbers of companies coming to college cross a 300 mark. You will get enough opportunities to show your talents. This year around 1800 offers was made. Maximum salary goes around 18-20 lakhs. The average salary is around 5 lakhs.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The college provides good placements. Almost all the eligible students got placed. Over 100 companies had visited the college for recruitment. Faculty provides all the required information about the companies and recruitment process along with all the prerequisites.

Good placement and good facilities, but can be improved.

Placements: The placement opportunities were adequate for those who were looking to get placed, and the average salary offered was 4 LPA. Robert Bosch, Elgi, Grieves Cotton and a few other companies visited for the placements. Good placement training was provided before the placement sessions, which was helpful in clearing the placement procedures.

My college is good only because of the crowd. The students are all independent and bold.

Placements: We have a lot of placements and it starts once we complete our 3rd year. A lot of core companies come for computer science and electronics. We have a lot of mass recruiters. There are a few placements for civil and mechanical engineering and for all the remaining branches.

Not satisfied and is not worth the money at all.

Placements: In terms of the number of companies came, it was quite good but the packages offered were not enough especially in my branch (civil). Talking about other engineering streams like CS and IT, as usual they got very good placement offers in companies like google, Microsoft, L&T, cognizant and many more. Highest package offered was around 25 LPA and the lowest being 2.5 LPA.

A really good place to learn and develop your skills.

Placements: Placements for CSE is amazing. Almost 100% of those who go in for placements get placed. Many of the students get multiple offers. On an average, the CTC is around Rs. 6-7 lacks. The highest package is Rs. 50 L (2015 batch). Companies like IBM, HP, Cisco, Adobe, Akamai, Cognizant and several startup companies visit. Nearly 350 companies have visited (overall) in 2016.

Good infrastructure with amazing diverse crowd.

Placements: My seniors had amazing placements. More than 300 companies visited for the last batch and around 80% of them were IT companies. The student placement percentage depends on the branch of engineering. If you're from CS, ISE, ECE and EEE branch, then the percentage goes up to 97-99%. The average salary package is around 4-5 LPA ranging from 2.8 - 20 LPA. Most recruiting companies are Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Robert Bosch, Sapient, Mphasis and many more. It is one of the famous and top-ranked colleges of Karnataka. The college is very good in infrastructure, labs, auditoriums etc. The placement record is good for IT branches and is average for Non-IT branches. The EEE branch here is the most strict branch of MSRIT but it is average from the view of coaching and skill development.

I have done my M.Tech in industrial engineering from this college. Mine was the second batch of industrial engineering in Karnataka, The teaching was actually good; all our teachers were PhD holders. However, there were no placements for this branch. Overall, for all the circuit branches it was excellent and the other non-circuit branches were fine. At least, there were companies coming in. However, for this branch, there was nothing. In fact, two companies were supposed to come, but did not tu...

M S Ramaiah is ranked top most among all over India and 1st in Bangalore. Although the college is very old, yet it follows new trends. The faculty has vast experience and in-depth knowledge about the topics. The college has very good infrastructure and good management to help students. There is high competition to secure a seat in this college.

My college has a very big history. It’s one of the oldest colleges in Bangalore and it's been one of the best in providing the students with quality education. It has a very big campus with labs, sports facilities and library. The faculty members have been very supportive and encouraging. Campus placements take place every year and number of students get placed. In my opinion my college has provided me with every opportunity to improve and build my career.

It has got one of the best infrastructures and a diverse teaching faculty. Ramaiah's brand name is enough to justify the credibility of the institute. In this college, you learn a great deal and have an all-round development. It is located in one of the developed areas in Bangalore and the connectivity to other areas is also good.
