I am absolutely satisfied because of the very low fees and placements.

Placements: Approximately 20 - 30% of the students got placed during the year 2017. The highest salary package offered was 4.3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Deloitte, EY and Standard Chartered were the top recruiting companies of our college. Risk advisory and analyst were the top roles offered in our course. Internships had to be self-sourced as there were not mandatory.

I'm completely satisfied and feeling proud of my college.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed in various companies, and some students were placed in big four accounting firms. The lowest and the highest salary offered was Rs. 6,000 per month and Rs. 32,000 per month respectively. Accounts, finance, taxation based companies visit the college to conduct campus placements. There is a placement cell, and it is efficient.

Absolute review about my college.

Placements: The placement in our college is only based on the percentage in semester examination. Only Top 5 company comes to our college for the recruitment and most of my seniors have got place in each company that came for the recruitment. Good placement will be provided by the companies that comes for recruitment.

They teach the discipline and the culture more than studies, and they mould students to be good.

Placements: The student on the campus got placed at B4 companies. There is a vast place for getting placed in the standard companies. Many banks recruit the students from our college. They provide the internship programme. More than 70% of the students get placed. They are paid from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month. The banking sector takes most of the students from here. The students can get an opportunity of grabbing jobs when they are graduated.

If you want to build good future and get placed in a good firm I will recommend you to join here.

Placements: A good number of companies visit this college. The big four accounting firms also recruit the students from various departments. The highest number of companies visit here with good salary packages of up to even Rs. 8,00,000 per annum. Compared to other colleges, a bigger number of companies visit here as the college's reputation is such that the recruiters visit this college often and believe in the students of Vivekananda college.

Vivekananda college, a good campus for our career.

Placements: There are many scopes for placements here. Topmost companies like Deloitte, Wipro, etc. come to our campus. They choose candidates according to their CGPA and their knowledge. Many students are taken from our college as our college has an excellent goodwill. Deloitte gives 35k to 40k per month for freshers, then they increase the salary. Our CGPA must be above 6.5 to get placed.

This college has a good infrastructure and has a high respect in the society. It is a goodwill which was created years ago, and still, the brand name is always highly respected. The syllabus is good, and the day college is affiliated to the Madras University and the evening college is autonomous (under Madras University). A well-experienced and motivating faculty team is available here. The campus placement facilities are also good as many big chip companies offer placements through the campus. ...

Faculty and campus were the main highlights of my college life. It is highly recommended for commerce stream. The biggest drawback is the college timings which is a bit inconvenient. Fee structure is quiet reasonable. This college is well-suited for studious people. Extra-curricular activities aren't given much importance as compared to other commerce colleges in city.
