It is an average college.

Placements: This is a new college, and no batches are passed out till now. Many students got a job here. Many companies visit our college for an internship. Recently IIVA company visited our college for an internship in a live project in cybersecurity.

Faculty and infrastructure of Purulia Government Engineering College are good.

Placements: As the college was established in 2016 at Purulia, none of the batches passed out from the college. However according to our principal, almost 30 companies visited the campus at the end of the 3rd year. I am in the 2nd year now, so I can expect some companies visiting and conducting GD to our senior batches in a few days.

Review of Purulia Government Engineering College (PGEC).

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The students with the aggregate of 85-90% were placed in very good and well-known companies. The salary scale offered is about Rs. 20,000-45,000. Companies like Tata, DSP, Sail, etc., visit the campus every year and provides placement opportunities for the students. The students are offered various types of roles. Students with more than 65% get internships. The stipend offered ranges from Rs. 6,000-12,000. The college has a placement cell and is very use...

Good placements, infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Placements are available in this college, and they also provide a good quality education. After completing your B.Tech course, you will be hired by popular companies. After the UG course, you have the opportunity to do M.Tech. The college campus is good for studying, and the environment and nature here is comfortable to study.

Awesome college by MAKAUT with excellent faculty members.

Placements: 2 years back college has came to its existence so, till now nobody knows what will happen in the CAT's race of placement. But as we know its a government college and due to less (60 students per stream) and mainly quality students (top rankers) getting admission here so there is a heavy chance of receiving good placement after completing B.Tech from here. In West Bengal most of the Government college is having 85% placement records in year 2017. yes sure, they will provide internship to the late...

The college is under construction, but it is improving.

Placements: There are no placements in our college because the college was established two years ago, in 2016. We are the first batch of our college, so I can't give any placement review now.

Join this college to gain the experience. We learned a lot from our faculty members.

Placements: As our college started it is the 1st-batch from 2016, and I am a student of that 1st batch of my college, so I could not tell about the placements which will happen in 2020. But I would say that the placements would be good as it is a government engineering college, and the companies might visit this college in search of good working students.

My college is beautiful and I love my college.

Placements: Placement is not good, few companies are coming here for giving jod to students. The minimum percentage is 85 for placement, and maximum is above 95. A minimum salary of 15,000 rupees offered and the maximum is 30,000 and after experience of 1,2year the salary is to be up to 60,000. For the students companies are offered as a role of supervise the work.

Good faculty members and average placements but the worst transport facility.

Placements: The placements are good, but not the best. In West Bengal, placements are above average in all the colleges, and our college is also the same. Mainly Bangalore & Pune based companies are coming for the placements. The salary offered to join is an average of 2.10 LPA, but West Bengal based companies are giving around 1.75 LPA.

Beautiful campus, helpful faculty, modern infrastructure, enthusiastic students and low fee.

Placements: As it is a new college and I am a student of the very first batch, I am not sure about how many placements will take place. But, as it is a government engineering college, it can be predicted that campusing will not be bad because in West Bengal, the total number of engineering colleges is nearly about 120 and among them, only 9 are government colleges. Most of the good students get their admission in this government institution. So, we have good scholars and companies want good and trained scho...

It is a good college to study.

Placements: The placement cell is good. There are many companies like Jindal, Tata and many more visit for placements. We will have a great and good future. We are proud to study in this college. This college is the pride of Purulia district. We hope that the college is the number one college in the district.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, good and developing infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are not provided yet as the college is recently established and there are no final year students. But, after 1 or 2 years, our college would offer placements for the students of 3rd and 4th-years. Many students did not get an internship. The students can internships in their 3rd or final year. There is no placement cell. But, the college may have it soon.

PGEC does national research, develops and implements the brightest future for the students.

Placements: As the college has been started in the year 2016-17, the first placement is going to take place in the academic year 2019-2020. So, currently, there are no available updates on the placements. But, according to HODs, the college authorities have a sincere and warm relationship with nearby NITD and IITKGP. It is proposed that many students will have a chance to appear in the cloud campusing organised along with the aforesaid prestigious institutions. It is also assured that the faculty members wi...

Every coin has two sides. This college is new and it has to overcome its wrong side.

Placements: I am a 1st-year student, so I cannot say about placement, but I believe that my college placement is good because PGEC is nearby many core companies of West Bengal and Jharkhand like Bokaro Steel city and many companies of Tata. Otherwise, Durgapur is also close to Purulia, so I hope to get placed in core companies, also due to government college I hope CESC will come for electrical students.

The college has the good infrastructure, academy, and faculty.

Placements: Not sure about the campusing, because this is new college, which was established in 2016. But, the honourable faculty members are trying to invite the companies, and the result will come in 2020. Then all the people will know about the condition of campusing. Overall, all the others facilities are good. The approach of faculty members is good.

Placements: I am one among the first batch of this college. It is established in the year 2016. Since this is a new college, there has not been any placements yet. But, as it is a government college, we hope we will get good placements in 3rd or 4th year on campus placements. Talking to the faculty members, they are hopeful about the placements shortly. The examination cell will be soon made, and we are looking forward to the on-campus jobs being offered to most of our students. The teachers here are most s...

New government college with good infrastructure and lab facilities.

Placements: Our college is a new college. Its 2nd batch has got admission, and I'm from the 1st batch. So no batch has reached the 4th year, and thus no question of placement will come upon. As far as the professors are saying, this is a new college, and most importantly government college so the placements will be good.

Overall, it is a good college indeed, and in the upcoming times, I hope it will be one of the best.

Placements: This is a new college, so there are no placements yet. The placement cell is constantly working to tie-up with reputed companies. Soon, the first campus drive will take place at 2019 which will have a great impact on the building reputation of the college. I hope the college gets good placement in its first placement year.

It has a really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: As this is a new college established in the year 2016, we are the first batch of this college, expecting good placements. As our faculty members are very concerned about our future, we think according to them we are expecting good placements. The knowledge is what we can pursue here, and the degree will not be of priority as we must be a good human first. This is the right place where one can learn and explore.
