It is a good college with average placements.

Placements: Since it is not an IIT or an NIT, the placement is not excellent, but I will definitely say it is average. The highest placement package offered is 6 LPA, and the average package offered was 3.5 LPA, which may be equal to some NIT's lower branch, according to my knowledge. So, the placement is good, or I say average. 50-60% of the students get placed every year in some big companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, etc. In the context of the internship, I don't have enough idea right now. There is a ...

Overall, an average and good college.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. From our batch, almost 80% of the total strength has got placed through the on-campus. There was the same scenario for the next year as well. Regarding the placement, things went well, and I should say that, though there is a need for the betterment. We were expecting companies from the core area, whereas we received the campus recruitment from software companies only, which is quite disheartening.

The college has the decent faculty and average placements.

Placements: Compared to the other years, the placement percentage has decreased in the last four years. The companies which come to the college rarely recruit a mass number of students nowadays. So, the on-campus placement scenario is a bit bad in the last two years.

An institute for education, to explore yourself and lots of things to do.

Placements: The placements are very good. There are lots of scopes. Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Ericsson, all these companies are hiring the students. The average package offered was 3 LPA in 2015. Most of the students get their job in the year 2015. There is a minimum scope for getting internships. The location of the job is probably Bengaluru based.

Review of an average engineering college

Placements: In our batch, placements were okay with 60% of the people getting placed. Generally, it's 80%. In all the other batches, it was pretty good. MNCs did visit the campus. Students got placed in Tech Mahindra from the college itself. Likes of Cognizant, Infosys, and TCS visit our college. But there's not much scope for core departments.

Overall, our college is a good college with an average placement and good faculty.

Placements: Hello, everyone, I am in the 4th semester of ECE department. In my college, the Placement is average as other Makaut colleges. Every year about 65-75 percent students are placed. Most visiting and recruiting companies are the IT companies, for example, the TCS, WI Property, Infosys, and others and TCS is the mass recruiter. Some core companies also come, but they recruit less number of students. In my college mostly CSE, ECE and IT students get placed in the above IT companies. The average salar...

There were good placements till 2015. It's worse now. The faculty is good and friendly for any help.

Placements: The placement given on the website shows more than 80% and is just to attract the new students and their parents, but the truth is not even 60% got the placement. In the recent years, placement dropped to 40%. No big companies are coming for on-campus placements. Some students even don't know how the placement is going on. Nor it is given to the students by their department faculty. About internship, it's just a word to speak. There is no internship provided by the college and some of the aggreg...

Good college under WBJEE. You will enjoy the college life.

Placements: Good placement record for CSE and IT. About 15-20 companies visited the campus for the recruitment including TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and Indian navy. There are a separate trainee and placement department. For branches other than CSE and IT placement records are not good.

Extremely satisfied with my college because of good placements and its environment.

Placements: As per the information, the placement of our college is quite good. Yearly 75-80% of the students are getting placed as I heard from my senior batches. The highest salary offered was 6 lakh per annum by Infosys, and the average salary is around 3.2 lakhs per annum. Recently a few companies visited our college.

RCC IIT: The good and the bad.

Placements: Right after you get to know your WBJEE rank, you will choose a college based on placements. So, RCC IIT is the obvious choice for me back in 2014. The placements used to be good. But it has certainly declined over the years. This year, it has been really poor until now. Around fifty students are placed with the average salary of 3 LPA. Capgemini and PricewaterhouseCoopers were the main recruiters. They offered the role of the system analyst. Interested students did projects with IBM University r...

Placement in IT Sector is guaranteed.

Placements: The placement scenario is decent when looked in terms of IT placements. The major IT companies like TCS, Infosys will visit the campus for on-campus placements with a bare minimum salary of 3.3 lpa. There are absolutely no chances of getting core sector jobs as no reputed company visits the campus. Though one can try for off-campus placements, the chances are very slim that one get through.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placement in 2017, really bad infrastructure

Placements: Very bad placement record. Only 50 students got placed out of 400 students in the year 2017. The students get an average package of 2-3 LPA. The previous year, the placement record was quite good. The highest package was 10 LPA. But in 2017, the placement wasn't very decent. It is not the fault of the college. The IT sector condition is very bad nowadays.

If you take admission you have to be competent from the very first day. Placement won't be a problem

Placements: The placement of our college for the last year was quite good. Cognizant came for a placement drive, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini were among top recruiters. 2-3 students got selected in Indian Navy too. This year, only Capegimini has recruited till October. Other core companies with a pay of 2.5-3 LPA are among recruiters. The placement by other companies is yet to take place. Among recruiters, Ericsson is confirmed to recruit from the ECE department. TCS is yet to come along with other mass rec...

RCC INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY is an average College for Engineering.

Placements: Placements are poor. No Company recruits huge number of candidates from RCC. More number of Companies should be brought to our College for recruiting at a mass rate. Placement Cell should take care about that matter atleast to help students to set their first step towards their career.

Satisfied with the college and faculty, but not completely satisfied with placements.

Placements: 3 years ago, the placements offered by the college were very good. The placements were pathetic in the previous year. After a lot of strikes in the college, the placement committee started trying to approach companies. Eight companies visited the college, this year. The placement process continues till March, every year. The placements will be improved in the upcoming years.

I am not satisfied with this college because faculty members are very rude.

Placements: The placements for the last three years were too bad. Very few student got placed in the last two years. Many students till now did not receive their joining letter. Overall, the placements are too bad. Companies like TCS, CTS etc. do not visit the college. The placement cell teachers are very bad. Their attitude is very average. I am not satisfied with this college and I suggest everyone, please don't take admission in this college.

Go for it when you don't have much choices from other top colleges

Placements: The placement was good in 2015 batch when I took admission. but from the last 2 years, the college records very less placements. Although our college ranking is in the top of the search lists, in the placement, scenario, it needs to be improved. This year, almost 40% are students placed in various companies.

Average infrastructure, excellent placements.

Placements: Last year, we had a whooping placement of 80%+ out of which, the mass recruiters were TCS (over 50%) and IGATE Solutions (24%). The average package offered by the companies was 4.2L and the highest offered was 9L. Other companies that visited the campus were BroadSoft Technologies, Indian Navy, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Ericcson, Keeves and more. The students sitting on the campus were given various designations. Most of the students got an internship from the college itself with a max stipend of 9K...

Review of RCC Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: Placements were not so good. 60% were placed. The highest package was 7 lakhs and the lowest package was 3.5 lakhs. Most of the students got placed in TCS, Capgemini, etc. Most of them got offers of call centers. I don't know about the number of students who got internships as I haven't ever asked the college authority for this.

Review of RCCIIT by an RCCIITian.

Placements: The placement for our batch & seniors' batch was almost at par with other tier 2 engineering colleges. A large part of the companies was basically from the IT industry with a few companies of the core stream also visiting the campus. The average salary was around Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra & Ericsson. The roles offered by the IT giants were of software developer, support engineer. As for internship, we mainly have to find them on the own for sum...
