Inside view of 2nd tier engineering colleges of the city ( Kolkata).

Placements: I was a student of core branch but not many core companies visited the college. Major placement offers were given by the IT companies which conducts their exam outside of the college, the kikes of TCS and wipro. Some pool campus placement were also there from colleges like Heritqge and Jadavpur but my branch student were not offered much job offers.

Value for money, Good placement, Average infrastructure .

Placements: Mainly mass recruiters company comes to our college like TCS, IBM, Wipro,. U can only get placement on your coding skill. No company come in our college for AIEE, EE, department. If u have coding skill then only u have chance of placement. If want to do coding then only come to this college.

College life is good. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Placements: Some good companies came. They took some good students. They give packages of 6 to 8 lacs. The placement is average. Many students go for GATE and CAT exams.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: I am in the ECE department. Our college takes about 120 students in the ECE branch, and out of which I think 80% of student got placed in different MNC companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, PWC, etc. The highest salary package offered by TCS Ninja for some students is 7 LPA. The average salary offered by MNC company is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like PWC and Rakuten visit our campus for placements. Very few students got an internship in Rakuten. But most of the students got a job from the o...

Not so well upto the mark as this college needs to boost up lots of things.

Placements: Nice batch, the recruiting of the college is moreover 65%, companies like tcs, wipro and lots more have been a part in this college for most no of years, the highest salary offered is 8 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 1 Lacs per annum, it has been a more than good college the teachers are good but the faculty is not so well organised.

It is a good place to learn both ethics as well as engineering science.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is efficient to place students. IT companies such as TCS, Infosys, etc., are the recruiting companies of our college. There is a decent connection between the students and the placement cell.

College is average for computer science and information technology only.

Placements: There is average placement in 2018, but it was better than last year. Some IT companies like TCS, ZS, Extramarks, etc. are visiting in 2019. So, till now, 72 out 420 students got placed from 4th-year batch and the number increases because it is starting. If you are in the core branch, then placement is negligible.

It is the best college for freshers.

Placements: Our seniors had great placements as 90% of them got placed, while the rest of the students opted for higher studies. The lowest salary package offered was 3.4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was up to 10 LPA. Technicals roles were offered to the students. Almost 100% of the students got their internships at this college, but stipend was not offered. There was a placement cell in our college, which was very efficient and useful.

I love my college culture.

Placements: Placements are not good nowadays but before they used to be good than other colleges. Salary offered by the company is too low this year. Many companies visit our college but recruit a little. Before this year, a mass recruiting company visited the college and recruited many.

The college should provide more placements.

Placements: When I joined this college, the placement scenario was at its best. Most of the students got placed in the best IT companies. But day by day as the number of students are increasing, the number of students getting placed are decreasing due to the increase in machines and many reasons. In the year 2015, almost 75% of the students were placed through on-campus. There is a big placement cell where the Training And Placement Officer (TPO) of our college handles all matters related to placement.

Review of my college according to my perspective.

Placements: Placements are not good for the year 2018, maximum 40% placement from the college. The average salary package is 2.2 LPA. Only one MNC company visited the college, and most of the companies that visited were a startup. There are too much of politics. Every year student goes on strike for campusing this year campusing was very less.

The college provides everything that students need.

Placements: If you have talent, then you can secure a job, and the companies visit the campus recruitment. But if you don't have talent, then it's tough on anyone's part to get placements. The Indian Navy visits the campus every year for placements.

The college has good infrastructure and lousy placements.

Placements: The placements are not going well this year. The year I joined that is in 2014, the placements were excellent. Almost everyone got placed, but this year only 30% of the students got placed till now. There were no reputed companies visited college like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

Overall, this college is good for engineering than other colleges.

Placements: Placements in our college were good. Every year, our college has placed at least 90% of the students by different companies like IBM, Amazon, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Adobe, and more. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.62 LPA. Last year, placements offered here were less than the other years, i.e., almost 86%.
