Absolutely unsatisfactory college.

Placements: The passing-out batch did not have good placements. If you expect to take up ECE here and grab core placements, please don't select this college. They will only sign up for IT sector companies, but that doesn't guarantee placements for ECE students. There is no clear information about which recruiting companies choose ECE students from the 2023 batch, and there is no information about the highest, average, or lowest package either. Most of the students went for masters or off-campus placements. ...

I am somewhat dissatisfied with the quality of education and relevance to the current industry.

Placements: College does not reveal realistic stats. Most of the students got jobs through off-campus. College doesn't reveal proper status for salary packages. The top recruiting company was only Infosys, and the top role offered is a developer. The average salary package offered is 2.9 LPA. The internship is not provided by the college TPA cell for most of the students.

Average college among private colleges.

Placements: In Electronics and Communications in the year 2015, the highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. I don't have an idea about the lowest package. About 70% of the students got placed in 2015 batch through campus placements. All were IT companies. Recruiters were Infosys, Ericsson, Tech Mahindra etc.

The college has worse placements, and it is still degrading.

Placements: Placement scenario in the college since the year 2016 has kept on degrading. Few years back, during my time of admission in engineering, a few MNCs visited and conducted placements in the college. In 2015, the placement percentage was near about 87% including on-campus and off-campus placements. Today, from the pass out batch of 2019, hardly 10% of the students got placed that too via pool drives and off-campuses. The internships are not offered from college. Some off-the-charts, around 2 to 3 t...

It is the worst college, please don't waste your money and time.

Placements: The placement cell is poor as it doesn't place the students in any company. Studying in this college is completely a waste, the only thing you learn from the college is to write an application to the HOD. I suggest you pursue B.Sc but not B.Tech from this college.

The fees are higher as expected.

Placements: The placements are really good. All the seniors that I know have got placed from this college. The electrical branch placements are a little bit poor, but the college offers placements to all of them. So, it is a better college for pursuing electrical engineering in West Bengal.

This college is not worth the money. Please choose some other college.

Placements: The placements are poor, there is no scope. I know the truth is bitter, none of the seniors has got placed from my branch. I don't know the fact whether they were irresponsible or the placement cell, but as far I know, no seniors have been placed, even if they got placed, they get a salary of Rs.10,000 or 15,000.

Worst college I have ever seen in my life time. Worst faculty. Profs knows nothing about the subjects. Worst infrastructure. No facility for students. Lots of politics inside the college. Semester fees are too high. Do not waste your future in this college. Lots of better colleges available in Kolkata. Placement is horrible.

Inside view of 2nd tier engineering colleges of the city ( Kolkata).

Placements: I was a student of core branch but not many core companies visited the college. Major placement offers were given by the IT companies which conducts their exam outside of the college, the kikes of TCS and wipro. Some pool campus placement were also there from colleges like Heritqge and Jadavpur but my branch student were not offered much job offers.

Review of my college according to my perspective.

Placements: Placements are not good for the year 2018, maximum 40% placement from the college. The average salary package is 2.2 LPA. Only one MNC company visited the college, and most of the companies that visited were a startup. There are too much of politics. Every year student goes on strike for campusing this year campusing was very less.
