Great experiences builds great professions.
Placements: The students of the 8th semester become eligible for campus placements. There are a large number of schools, such as KVS and JNVS, that make offers to the college as per their requirement of teachers. Almost every student gets the placement provided by the college. My plan after getting the degree is to be a teacher in Kv. The highest package is about 45,000-50,000.
Infrastructure: The institute provides the opportunity to grow in various fields such as education, sports, culture, literature, etc. By providing the facilities of laboratories, libraries, playgrounds, sports courts, etc. The hostel room is provided with two almirahs having 5 shelves in each. One ceiling fan in the middle of the room is also provided. One electric board for the students is provided with 3 plus. There are three students living in each room, so each room is provided with 3 beds, 3 chairs, and 3 tables. The floor of the room is fitted with marbles. The bathroom is also very clean and usable. The mess food is very good in terms of both quality and quantity. The menu includes Vada, Sattu Puri, Chhole Bhature, idli, upma, etc. In the breakfast, while it includes price, dal, roti, and various veg and non-veg curries in the lunch and dinner. Snacks are also provided to the students at 5:30 or 6 pm, and chura fry, pasta, etc., are given in snacks. Every student of the institute is eligible to be an order of the hostel. The hostel fees include mess fees, i.e., 30,000 per year and an additional establishment fee of Rs 8,000 per year.
Faculty: There are 4-5 faculty members available in each department, such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc., who teach the students about the subject matter. They are very approachable and are like role models for students. In a year, there are two semester examinations being held in the college, and in each semester, two internal examinations are given by the students. A very small number of students fail in these examinations, i.e., about 4-5 among 113 students. The examinations are very easy for the students who study in an organized way. The course curriculum is very relevant.
Other: I applied to 5 more state government colleges, such as Revensaw University Cuttack, BJB Autonomous College Bhubaneswar, Samanta Chandra Sekhar College Puri, etc. I got confirmed admission from BJB Autonomous College Bhubaneswar. I chose this college because of the integrated course it provides in the affordable course fee. The admission process of RIE Bhubaneswar includes both entrance examination merit and 12th mark merit. It counts 60 percent from the entrance examination and 40 percent from the 12th board examination result. The students who got more marks than others after adding both the results are most preferred. The cut-off is around 60 for ST, 75 for SC, and 85 for general and OBC students. The admission of the meritorious students takes place in a smoother way. There are various types of festivals being celebrated in RIE Bhubaneswar. I. e., Ganesh puja in September, Diwali and Chhat puja in November, Saraswati Puja in February, and several other Manipur, Jharakhndi, and other state festivals are being celebrated. The facilities of the lawn tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis court, and a spacious playground are great for activities, sports, or even educational purposes. There are gyms available in more than one place that is near the lawn tennis court and another near the Jagannath temple. Both are being used by students as well as faculty members to remain fit and fine. It helps them to maintain good health by regular exercise. The campus timing is from 6 am to 10 pm, while the hostel timing is from 6 am to 8 pm. The Annapurna Canteen is the college canteen inside the campus that the students use for recreational purposes. It remains open from 7 am to 8 pm on working days. A grand library is located at the main building of the institute and is easily accessible to all users. The library functions from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all working days, and it is also open on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The most famous hangout place inside the campus is the Jagannath temple, and outside the campus are Kalinga Stadium, Esplanade malls, B.M.C. malls, various parks such as IG Park, Buddha Jayanti Park, Biju Patnaik Park, etc. The locality is safe to roam around at night.

Placements: This is a very prestigious teacher training Institute under NCERT. I am currently studying in the 1st year of B.A.B.Ed course. Rie bbsr gives 100% placement guarantee. Students get chance to teach in JNVs. Internship is a part of our course. It enables students to experience the life of a teacher in real and also they develop their skills.
Infrastructure: All admitted students are provided with the campus hostels. Free medical facilities available in the campus dispensary. Whiteboards are available in the classrooms, students are given chance to present contents in front of the class, to gain experience.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They will be helping you but preparing yourself for exams in upto you. I've not appeared in any semester exam yet, but the internal exam's level is moderate. Curriculum is very different from ordinary colleges as it is an integrated course.
Other: Here you'll find huge cultural diversity. It is a very active campus. Definitely, you're gonna love this campus.

An excellent place for education.
Placements: Our institute, Regional Institute of Education Bhubaneswar, provides 100% placement to the 8th-semester students of the university. 100% of the students get the opportunity for placement, but the packages provided are quite low, which is why many students choose to pursue higher education. Last year, the highest package was about 4.2 LPA, and the lowest was 3.2 LPA. Due to the low packages, students often opt for higher education. Being a teacher education college, placements are provided for school teachers, with many schools from West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh coming for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Regional Institute of Education is quite good, with Wi-Fi available in every location, including the hostels. There is a specific lab for every subject, such as botany, zoology, chemistry, and physics. The labs are equipped with world-class facilities and provide the best instruments to students. The college follows a modern curriculum that is needed for higher education. The library is one of the best features of the institution; it is fully air-conditioned and provides 84,000 books and journals. The canteen, Annapurna Canteen, offers a full meal for only 50 rupees. In the mess, the food is quite good and adjustable with the amount of money we pay, which is 85 rupees per day.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, holding doctorate degrees from prestigious institutes across India. Many have also completed post-doctoral research abroad. The teachers are very helpful and approachable, and you can go to them anytime to resolve your doubts. The curriculum is well-aligned with the higher education process, preparing students for any type of competitive exam. The difficulty level of semester exams ranges from easy to moderate, with a pass percentage of about 90%. Students can easily pass if they study a bit.
Other: The best aspect of this course is that it provides a dual degree within 4 years. In this period, students will graduate with both a B.Sc. and B.Ed., making them ready to be TGT teachers in schools. Typically, pursuing B.Sc. and B.Ed. separately takes 5 years, but at RIE, it can be completed in 4 years. It's definitely a value-for-money course. The campus emphasizes cultural events, sports, and other activities. Students are encouraged to participate in various programs to improve their skills. The campus is beautiful, large, and lush green. There is also an opportunity for scholarships from NCERT, with 800 rupees paid per month to students.

It is one of the best colleges to pursue teaching as a career.
Placements: About 20% to 30% of students get placed here. The rest of the students either pursue higher degrees or prepare for CTET or JAM. Generally, private schools like D.P.S. and others visit here. Students are generally placed in the position of PGT or TGT. The highest placement is around 6 LPA and the average is 3.6 LPA. There is a compulsory internship for all students in RIE Bhubaneswar. Students must travel to the preferred JNV for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and everything is available here. Right from our hostel rooms to the classrooms, everything is decent. The mess here is not good and even after many complaints, nothing changes. Not even the warden is interested in improving it, but we manage through the canteen. There are proper sports and games facilities and the college organises inter-college and inter-RIE competitions. We also participate in AIU.
Faculty: The curriculum has been updated and is very much relevant to the latest teaching methodology. It feels like teachers here are doing formalities during teaching. They present PPTs every day, and that's how they teach. The course makes students practically ready to become teachers, and internships play an important role here. Semester exams are difficult, and papers do have a good standard, so we need to be prepared. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: The course is very relevant to NEP, and it is in demand. The best thing here is the internships that make us ready in a way to face the practical teaching profile. There will be some sort of festival, gathering, or any sort of function every 3 months. The crowd is good as all of us have to qualify for the entrance exam. Nobody gets into college simply by passing XII. There is good understanding among everyone regarding the course and the options available after it. The teaching style of faculty members and the quality of mess food should be improved. Everything else is fine.

Good teaching faculties and good educational infrastructure along with a good laboratory.
Placements: The placement program is carried out in a very desirable manner. Generally, all the desired student teachers got placed in the different prestigious schools in India. The administrative issue a date on which school all over India comes and selected their required post. The package provided varies from 30k- 50k per month.
Infrastructure: The Institute had 1 boy Homi Bhabha hostel it's not only a hostel but it's our family only. It consists of three blocks with 39 rooms in each block facilitated with all essential commodities like electricity, bathroom, B.Ed chair table. Each room is shared by three partners of their choice. We had a student-running mess where very tasty food is provided and every state dishes are provided as we had students from 13 states of India.
Faculty: The number of faculty members is very low otherwise the faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality they provide is very excellent. We are in 4 years integrated course in the first 2 beginning years we are taught all the subjects along with education and from the 3rd year, we are only taught honors group along with education in the 4th year we are sent for the internship program, multi-community work. Each semester consists of 2 internal and 1 end-semester examination both theoretical and practical.
Other: The course I choose is because 1stly it saves 1 year and provided both the degree. It is one of the best units in the country providing the best teaching practice.

A place to enjoy your college life along with study.
Placements: This college provides a multicultural placement program to the students for their practical knowledge about teaching. After this, they were given a 4-month internship opportunity in the final year of the course which helped in a great way in their career. Generally, Internship opportunities were given in the JNVs of Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar. Generally in the placement, many private schools across India comes to hire the students every year. But according to Statistics most students in RIE were pursuing post-graduation and hence didn't participate in the placement.
Infrastructure: The campus size of RIE BBSR is around 105 acres. The college has different sectors for hostels, college, and staff quarters. There is also a canteen near the college where you can have your meal at a very affordable price. The campus have also a school named DM (Demonstration Multipurpose) School where students of classes 1 to 12 are read. The interesting fact is that it is the first CBSE school in Odisha. There is also great exposure to sports such as cricket, tennis, tt, badminton, volleyball, etc. On this campus. For all these things the college campus also has a field surrounded by all the hostels. Along with all these, there is a great affection of this college towards the festival and its celebration. In this college, as various state students were reading, you can SEE the diverse variety and can able to know about their cultures and traditions as well. This hostel provides one boys' hostel (Homibhaba), three girls' hostels (Gopabandhu, Ashutosh, Ramanujam), and 2 guest houses. Another girl's hostel is also under construction. Food was served in the mess of the respective hostels. Three students were allowed to live in a room in this college.
Faculty: If we would discuss the facilities then most of the teaching work was done by contractual teachers because the permanent teachers have many other works apart from teaching. The qualifications of all teachers were very high. Almost everyone is having a Ph.D. degree. The curriculum was really good. It is framed in such a way that it would be helpful for students to prepare for the CTET and other TET exams. The semester exams were moderate. If you regular into your studies then you can easily get a good CGPA from this college.
Other: Especially if we do this course outside then it would take 5 years whereas in this college it will take only 4 years. This is one of the main reasons for choosing the college. Apart from this, it is an NCERT organization that has its benefits. The permanent teachers should be. Instead of contractual facilities permanents, facilities should be. Many events were also celebrated in this college such as cultural fest, annual function, sports day, etc. The scholarship was also given to some students on basis of their marks and family economic background.
