Review of Rizvi College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. You can easily get placed in IT companies. But, it depends on your calibre. Companies always visit the college for recruitment. Students need to have good skills. Other activities are also conducted for the students to get placed. Core companies related to the electronics branch didn't visit our campus. But, students can get placed in IT companies.

Join the college if you want only a degree.

Placements: The college is old enough to be one of the good colleges in Mumbai with decent placements, but it did not reach the expectations. The placement scenario is the worst for the last 5-10 years. More than 80% of the students are placed on campus. Only 3-4 companies visited the campus. No internships are offered by the college. The average and highest packages offered are not disclosed.

Overall, my experience is good as there are balancing academics and extracurricular activities.

Placements: About five companies visited our college to recruit the students. The average salary offered was about 6 LPA. About 25% of the students got placed in the campus placements. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Tecnimont, Zycus, Al-Shirawi, and Vedam Consultancy, visited the college for placements. Internships are not provided to students from college.

Placements: Only two companies came out of which one of them took a single student for placement. Even seniors who are passed out where not placed. No good internship provided by the college. One of the companies which visited was zycus. Don't hope for placement if going for this college.

Good for those who just want to do engineering for a degree. It's not a satisfying college.

Placements: The placements are not provided to students of all branches. There are placements only for some branches' students. You would get a package of 3 lacs per annum. Half of the students couldn't clear the aptitude test. Four students cleared the interview and got a package of 2-3 lacs per annum.

Faculty is fine, location is great, placements were really good in 2017.

Placements: I never heard of any great placements records before I joined this college. But this later surprisingly atleast 10-12 students from every branch got internships and placements. The average was around 3-5 lacs per annum. There were interview programs for the students to do good in their interviews.

Don't choose this college.

Placements: No placements are there in the college. Don't go to this college, try for better college. No MNC is visiting this college for recruitment, and also faculty is valuable at all as per they are taking fees from us. The college canteen is the only thing which I like from this college.

The college is very good having average fees and also having good placements.

Placements: The placement is very good. Many big companies are coming for placements. Almost 80% of the students are placed every year from each branch. The minimum salary is 3 LPA, and the maximum is based on the knowledge and presentation of the students. The companies like Jio, Techmahindra etc., visited the college.

Placements: If you are looking from placement point of view, then this college is not for you, as there hardly comes any placement for civil. Its same with other colleges also with the civil branch, but they have good placement for electronic and telecommunication, computers, and electronics.

Overall Rizvi College of Engineering is a average college, it has the lowest fee in Mumbai.

Placements: Many reputed companies visits for campus placement for each and every branch. Companies for civil engineering department are less but still some companies visit. Placement eligibility is according to the company, mostly 60% is required. The package also depends on companies it varies from 2.5-3.5 or more.

A place where engineers can grow, explore, teach, and can meet the sharpest minds.

Placements: Our college is very good in facilities for student and staffs. Every year, the companies come for placement. I think this is one of the best and the finest college for engineering. I think around every year from our college, 15 to 16 students got placement even though the quantity is low, but it seems to be very good compared to other colleges. Students who got placed from our college are at best position in specified companies.

Partially satisfied with the teachers and not at all satisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placement in Rizvi College of Engineering is not at all good. The faculty are not interested in placements. Although there had been some improvement as the college is providing training and placement programs for students. The company which usually comes only hire the top candidates and the rest of the students don't' get jobs as promised by the college.

One of the best thing about the college is its fee. Unlike other colleges, its too low.

Placements: The placements of the college are not that good. Unlike other colleges, The college gives fewer opportunities to the students. The computer department students get chance to get employment in some of the nice companies, but other departments suffer, they didn't get campus placement. Maximum 10 - 15% students get campus placement and the other branches it is lower than the above percentage. The salary offered is around 2 LPA -3.5 LPA and the companies like Justdial, Tech Mahindra, Jio, Zycus offe...

Overall, it's a good college for study and scoring good marks and getting placed.

Placements: Rizvi College is well known in Mumbai and is one of the good colleges for placements. Various companies like Zycus, etc. visit here. Overall, the placement percentage is good. Last year, the placement record was better than the current year. Almost 50% people were placed in different companies. The placement coordinator has a broad connection with various company HRs. The college also provides a free campus placement training programme for free of cost to every student.

Reasonably good, okay for average students.

Placements: It has many companies through the pool placements, and some companies also hire students from core fields. You just need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The training and placement cell at the college holds training sessions for teaching basics, aptitude, and other skills development. There were 45-55 % placements in the previous year. Many students choose the direct walk-in interviews instead of campus placement.

Overall from a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this college 7 because of fees and the cutoff marks.

Placements: I am talking about electronics branch. The placement is not that good very few companies come here. This year from electronics branch only 1 student got placement so placement is not that good if your marks are very good then you could get the placement. The placements are good for computer branch. Many companies visited like Wipro, Tata, Larsen & Toubro

My experience in the Rizvi is awesome, and there is freedom.

Placements: I'm the student of the mechanical engineering department, and the placements are average, i.e., 30 to 40% with an average package of 4 LPA. The placements of the civil engineering department are not good, but the placements of IT and EXTC department is high. The companies like TATA, Mahindra, etc., comes every year only for IT and EXTC students. The lowest salary offered was 2.5 lacs per year. Rizvi, the throne of learning.

Placements: I heard from the seniors that your talent is all that matters at the end and the companies came to our college for placement understood that. Many of my seniors got selected. Some in Tech Mahindra, some in TCS, etc. Well, until now its been a good experience for me. I look further for my upcoming years with great enthusiasm. And especially not only the bookish stuff but I also enjoyed a lot playing sports at my college. The staff is supportive.

Overall, it is a very good decision to choose the college as yours. Placements have increased

Placements: The placements are high for BE computers and EXTC but the placements for mechanical and civil are not so good. All around placements are 70-30 percentage-wise and are recognizable which puts the college in top 20 colleges in Bombay. Now, the placement department is very active and keeps regular seminars for final year students and keeps the students well-informed. The biotech subject is not in form but is good in this college according to placements.

A decent place but not amongst the best in Mumbai

Placements: The placements here are dull. There are hardly any companies that recruit from here, and definitely not as much as they show on their website. The situation, although improving, is still very poor in the case of placements. The department of placements is just there in the college for the namesake and is good for nothing.
