Teachers are very humble, well qualified and knowledgeable. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. Review of S.M. Shetty College.
Placements: The placement was good; they give internships at Nokia, Samsung, TCS at a stipend of 15,000. TCS, Cognizant, and Jio hire most of the students at an average package of 4 LPA. 70% placement done in the final semester. 10% of students go for M.Sc. IT. Roles depend on the company; TCS gives associate software engineer roles, and Infosys gives system engineer roles.
Infrastructure: There is an event known as "Talent Hunt" for students every year. There is an event known as Emmozeal where well-known Bollywood stars come as chief guests. This function runs for three days. We have a good library with Wi-Fi and good classrooms. No hostel on campus. The canteen of our college is awesome with all sorts of food items. We have waiters in the canteen.
Faculty: One of the best faculties for each and every subject. They were like if we have doubt they are always available. They told if you feel the same to ask questions in front of the class, meet me in my cabins. The course is full of technical subjects they make us industry relevant. Semester exams are as per university; passing is very easy.

It is the best college for everyone.
Placements: There are a total of two batches, A and B, in the B.Sc-IT program during students' semester. Due to the COVID-19 virus, placements did not occur. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and many other top firms visit our college and offer salary packages ranging from 2 LPA to 3 LPA for freshers.
Infrastructure: Our college has upgraded infrastructure. Classrooms have air conditioners and good furniture. Our college has 3 lifts for students, a library, clean and hygienic washrooms, cold and hot water for drinking, practical labs with a capacity of 50-60 students, and Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They do a little favour for their favourite students. Overall, they are highly talented and professional experts. They encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities like chess, thug of war, and other activities.
Other: The campus is very well-maintained. Our college provides up to the mark and quality experience. It is located in Hiranandani near Powai Lake, which makes it a good locality. It has many options to travel like bus, auto or local.

Review of S.M. Shetty College.
Placements: The placements are average. A number of companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Bewakoof.com, etc., come for campus placement for IT graduates, but it entirely depends on students' individual skills. The offered package is 3.8 LPA on average. No, students haven't opted for college internship is not given, but students get external opportunities.
Infrastructure: Yes, we have very good IT labs for our practical practice in the IT field. We have a total of 4 labs, and 2 lab assistants take care of each lab infrastructure. All the systems are highly configured, and students can take study material from the library. We do not have any hostel, but our canteen is very good. However, we have a complaint about the campus; it is too small.
Faculty: We have daily 4 lectures in a day. We have many certification courses too which help us to build our career as well as profile. Teachers guide us in all stages. In the second semester, we have written research papers on upcoming technologies that are included in the curriculum. Semester exams are a little difficult; 40% need to be passed.
Other: My brother is an alumnus of this college. He suggests me to do B.Sc. from here. The college has an AC problem that needs to be fixed.
