Good location and infrastructure.

Placements: There weren't any specific placement options since B.Sc. in physics is not a vocational course. Many students continued to study masters or MBA. Non of the company visit the campus. Students had to look for internships on their own, and no salaries were offered during internships.

It is an excellent college with a great crowd.

Placements: Most of the students are unaware of the placement cell in the college, especially the students of the arts department. Placements in college are not very great, and hardly any student opts for it. Most of the students opt for further studies. Overall, the placements in the college are not that good.

Satisfied with the college as far as the infrastructure and faculty are considered.

Placements: Only 7-8 students out of 60 were placed. Last year, two companies have visited the campus for placements. The number of companies visiting the campus was very negligible. Each company hired only 4-5 students, so the number of companies that visit the college should increase.

The review of S.P. Mandali's Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College.

Placements: The college doesn't offer a lot of placement opportunities at least for the students of the pure sciences background. I don't know much about the placements of the IT field. But for pure science departments like botany, zoology, chemistry, lifescience, and microbiology, there are no placement opportunities. Our seniors have completed their masters and are now in the process of looking for jobs.

If you want to balance both academics and extracurricular activities, this is a great choice.

Placements: As graduates, most of the students were looking forward for doing masters. Placements wise, very few companies visit the college to hire the students. Most of the companies which offer sales or voice process with the salary package of 4 LPA visited the college. The company named like J. P Morgan also recruited a few students for their outbound in Goregaon. Tommy Hilfiger visited the college and offered sales roles with good salary package. Placement cell in the college wasn't very actively invol...

Review of S.P. Mandali's Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College.

Placements: There are no many offers in terms of placements here. HOD of the department can personally help you to get better. I would advise you to be in contact with the placement cell of our college from the second year at least. Most of the teachers in the department are quite helpful in placements.

Worth the time and money - Ruia College.

Placements: The placement cell in Ruia College has its niche in offering more of internship and skill development opportunities, for both students pursuing the degree as well graduates, than direct jobs for graduates. However, the placement record of the college is decent as at least 50% of the students get jobs via the placement cell. The biggest attraction of the placement cell in the college is the job fair held every year.

The infrastructure is much improved after the year 2016.

Placements: The placement statistics till my graduation was not there, but other fields had an opportunity to get placed in good companies. Interviews, internships and student exchange programmes are there in this college. Several postgraduation courses are available in this college too.

In RUIA, once you are here, you have already stepped towards your success.

Placements: Since this college has become autonomous this year, the chances of placements have increased with teachers focusing more on internships and the companies visiting the campus. With this, the college here also conducts a job fair for the students in-house and outside which also provides an opportunity for placements. Teachers here are very helpful in making their decisions regarding their career and helping everyone to chose wisely. And, as seen in the present day scenario, people believe that B.S...

Ruia got 'Status of excellence' in 2012. As per the status they maintain their position.

Placements: Placements are very good! Faculty members are very focused and helpful. Good companies visit the college and hire talent. The packages which are providing by them are very good. Recently Ruia college has became autonomous college so they are making sure to get high qualified placements to students.

Overall, the college experience was very good.

Placements: There were no placements. Actually, almost all of us were wanted to do masters, so no one thought of campus placements that time. So if I have to say percentage-wise, no one was placed through the college. But overall, around 30-40% students got placed on their own just after the college, while 50% pursued higher education.

I am dissatisfied with placements, but I am happy with the rest.

Placements: Hardly 1% of the students got placed in our course. Many companies didn't visit here. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. However, these salary packages are offered for the sales and marketing department majorly. None of the companies was willing to hire students for data analysts or actuarial analysts roles.

B.Sc. microbiology - Go for it if you have a research mindset.

Placements: Since this is a undergraduate course there are no placement offered by the college but they do let us know if there are any internships that students can avail. You can job opportunities after your Masters in research field or in laboratory. There are no placements for microbiology in Ruia. There is placement cell but it especially works for chemistry dept and statistic department.

Good reputation and passing out from here has value.

Placements: Currently in second year doing Bachelors in Psychology. We do not have placements through college. But we are given a lot of certificate courses with credits. We are also given letters of recommendation by our department head. Since most people do their post graduation, placements are necessary.

Ruia college. A place where you will feel it's a second home for you.

Placements: The placements were not at par with other colleges. For my course there were hardly 6-7 companies that came and that too didn't pick all our seniors. We had to hunt for personal contacts for the placements. You have to complete your masters to get a good job.
