The review of S. S. Jain Subodh Arts and Commerce College on Shiksha.
Placements: The admission process at S. S. Jain Subodh Arts and Commerce College is very simple, requiring only a few documents. Admission is primarily based on the percentage obtained in the board exams. In the final year, students become eligible for campus placements, where local business companies hire them. The percentage is not the sole determinant for placement; talent holds greater importance. The annual fees range from 7000 to 18000, and government scholarships are available, amounting to around 20000 or more. The college facilitates campus placements for its graduating students, ensuring affordability for all.
Infrastructure: The college boasts a large library with an extensive collection of study-related books. The classrooms are decent, though lacking AC facilities. The spacious classrooms may pose visibility issues for backbenchers due to their size. The college provides ample opportunities for sports and games, featuring various grounds like cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, and others as per the requirements of Subodh College. Extracurricular activities include NSS and NCC programs.
Faculty: My sister motivated me to enroll in this college. The student-faculty ratio is favorable, and the faculty members are highly educated, holding Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. While some faculty members are supportive, others may not be as helpful at times. The college has 10 to 12 faculty members, with around 50 faculty teaching. The teaching methods are effective and engaging, and exams are conducted in the morning, known for being relatively easy.
Other: The college hosts an annual fest without a specific name. Additionally, there is a separate annual sports event. Students actively participate in these festivals, cherishing every moment during their college experience.

My college is very well in education.
Placements: The admission eligibility for the course was 12th grade graduation with a 60% requirement and the application forms and other details are easily accessible from the college website. There was an entrance test followed by a personal interview, where the interviewer checked the candidate's communication skills, confidence, general knowledge, and current affairs as their selection criteria. The students become eligible for campus placements in the final semester. There are many companies that come for campus placements. Some of them are EY, GT, PWC, ICICI, LSC, etc. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Every student who is interested in getting placements will get placed. My plans after getting the degree are to get placed in placements, finish my ACCA professional degree and start my course of doing US CPA along with my job. The college offers internships in the final year for a duration of one month. There are various companies that offer internship placements. Some of the companies are EY, GT, etc. The students get projects based on their specialisation.
Infrastructure: Almost all the books that any student requires are available in the library. All kinds of books and journals are available in the library. The librarian makes sure it will be available soon. There are various amenities available in the classrooms. The classes are equipped with smart boards and projectors. There are various sports extra curricular activities, such as basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc. An entire sports arena is available for the students. Their are four clubs run by students 1. Cultural club; 2. Entrepreneurship cell; 3. CSR; 4. Literature and communication. Our college has a hostel facility. The hostel has 2 to 3 rooms for both girls and boys. Everyone is provided with a single bed, a cupboard and a study table with drawers. The food is average and a little land overall needs improvement.
Faculty: I chose this course in order to pursue my interests in the fields of accounting and finance. The course also offers benefits for ACCA professional exams. The faculty-student ratio is 1:12. The faculty are highly qualified and experienced and their teaching methods are very unique and interesting. It has really helped me understand the subject better. The exams were very well organised and managed by the faculty. The difficulty of the exams was mediocre but with proper studies and concentration in class, one can easily pass the exams. It is a business college with faculty with great experience in this field. All faculty are extremely qualified and experienced in both the teaching and corporate worlds. The faculty is concerned; they are good and very supportive and help you in other aspects, including studies. You can seek help from them at any point in time. The exams were extremely challenging in a good way. A standard paper was set.
Other: The college conducts fests such as ignite buzz and buzzy buzz. They are conducted in the months of January and February. The college also has various clubs, such as E-CELL, cultural club, library club, CSR club, etc.

A review of my college world.
Placements: Our course does not offer placement opportunities. Instead, students enrolled in the B.A. program focus on preparing for government exams. There are some options to pursue an M.A. after completing their B.A., as there are limited prospects directly associated with a B.A. degree. Our college is affiliated with Rajasthan University, located in Jaipur.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is adequate and situated in the heart of Jaipur city. Students have access to a canteen on campus, and proper uniforms are provided based on their respective courses. The postgraduate (PG) facilities are exclusively for female students, as there are no male residents on campus. Our college is affiliated with Rajasthan University Jaipur.
Faculty: The college boasts a competent faculty, with all instructors being extensively qualified and experienced in their respective fields. They consistently adhere to the prescribed course curriculum. Semester exams pose no significant challenge for well-prepared students. Additionally, the policy prohibits the use of bags and phones during the exam period.

Satisfied because the college infrastructure is very good.
Placements: There is literally no placement at all. College does not help in finding placements either. On the contrary, the faculty tasks us with going for a second Masters, preferably from some foreign universities. They also support selected students (or the director's favorites') in doing so. To cut a long story short, I passed in April of 2019. As of October 2029, I am still jobless with a Masters in International Studies from a highly reputed college. Less than five people from my college have managed to get a job.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. The hostel facilities were amazing. Good rooms, clean bathrooms, and very accommodating staff. We had an in-house doctor. Any time we fell sick, he was there within 5 minutes. If we had to be taken to the hospital, even if it was the dead of night, they would arrange for a vehicle and two lady staff. If we do not have any family members around, they will arrange a bystander for as long as we are in the hospital. From aids to the warden, everyone was sweet.
Faculty: At this college, there are lecturers. There are also 12 others. Good character and good speaking. They are all helpful to us. Feeling proud to have them. Is very good. The teaching quality is awesome. The faculty are very supportive and helpful. The semester exams were easy to pass with no difficulties. This is very helpful to me. In the examination hall, the atmosphere of the room was very helpful. The examination is a total of 800 and 4 hours. To participate in the exam, students must fill out the form. The examination is held at another college. Every Wednesday, there are two students on the bench and there are three teachers in the class.
Other: There is no casteism for any religion in the college; there is no mention of any category; there is no ratio of boys and girls.

Overall, the college is very good. From my side, you can get admission to this college.
Placements: It depends a lot on the domain of the students. Branches such as computer science and information technology usually perform very well in terms of placements, whereas core branches such as bachelor of arts usually underperform in terms of placement and internship students find their own base. The placement package in this college is on average 2–3 lacs per year.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are usually equipped with basic necessities like desks, chairs, whiteboards, and projectors. Some might have smart boards, while others may not. They are generally utilized and maintained reasonably well. There has been a cleanliness factor associated with it, as at times it looks sort of untidy. Basic equipment and tools for conducting experiments or practical sessions are available but maintenance issues exist.
Faculty: The curriculum is very good here. The permanent faculty is quite knowledgeable and shares a plethora of skill and domain knowledge. Regular curriculum updating is something that is not kept at Centre stage. The teaching quality is very good and awesome, and the teachers are very supportive and friendly.

I'm very satisfied with this college and it is totally approved from my side.
Placements: Don't expect placements here if you are looking for high packages. The college can provide you with placements up to 2–3 lacs per year. But if you want to make something big, then you have to rely on off-campus placements and internships. Every package offered by the college that is above 3–4 LPA is off-campus.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, but it lacks modern teaching tools like projectors and digital boards, which other colleges do have. It ticks to old ways of teaching but I'll say that ain't a big problem as a student, as everyone relies on internet material. The location of the college is bad, as it lacks basic facilities like drainage and pure water.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is very supportive and very good. Teachers just read out the notes that they provide after classes so there is no role for teachers in the college. Just be in the good books of your teacher and you will be cruising well. The question bank teachers provide is the gold mine, as everything comes from it on exam day.
