Sahrdaya's experience.
Placements: Almost 92% of students got placed from my college. But the placements were in poor companies. The highest package was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Agape, Medtronics, etc. Almost all the students with GPA above 7 get internship. Sales, research, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Infra in the college and hostel is pretty good and above average. The food quality in the college is average at best but adjustable. Library is good with a large plethora of books for research and other purposes. Sports opportunities are limited and few.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and open minded. They help us in our time of need. We can approach them openly without any issue. The course curriculum is relevant and it is helpful during placements. The semester exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is quite high like 90%.

A complete adventurous student life.
Placements: 90 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 900000, the lowest was 200000, and the average is 300000. Top recruiting companies include TCS, UST Global, and Sutherland. The roles offered are associate software engineer. Around 10 percent of students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in classrooms, labs, and also libraries. This facility is provided to each block in the campus. The facilities in the hostel include food from the mess, Wi-Fi, all-time available electricity and water. The hostel food is homely, and all the three courses are available in the mess.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and are well-educated to provide education. They help in all forms of doubts, thus making each student reach the heights. The course curriculum is relevant and updated to the industrial demands. The semester exams are of average difficulty and can be cracked easily.
Other: Computer Science is a booming industry and is helpful for the future. More of the developed courses can be included in the curriculum.

The home of only academics.
Placements: With a percentage hovering around 93% this year, the level never dips below 90%. Our starting package is 10,000 and can climb up to 25,000. We have top companies like Infosys, South Indian Bank, Byjus, and more. Internships are not provided by the college; we find them ourselves.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available even in the hostel and on the college campus. There is a printing service just inside the campus, as well as a small restaurant and snacks bar for both hostellers and day scholars. The food quality in the canteen is average, and medical facilities are good, with a monthly visit from a doctor. Physical education is not so good.
Faculty: The quality of education you receive at Sahrdaya is really top-notch when it comes to academics. At times, it can lead to pressure but is manageable. It is very course-oriented, and students can even work in other fields besides their course. Semester exams are carried out by the government, and students can't have any say in that, but we've got a good pass percentage, and the SGPA is mostly above 5.
Other: Our college mostly gives off academic vibes, and we lack many programs here. Our uniform doesn't look professional; it looks like some poly students. There is a lack of extracurricular activities too.

Sahrdaya is So High or Soar High?
Placements: Placement for Computer science department is average percent. And recently 2 students got placement and internship at IBM. For internship almost 80% students goes for internship in s8 and a few goes in their s5 . Some recruiting companies are Infosys, Southerland, Innovature, UVJ technologies etc.
Infrastructure: College is vast. College is close to nature. The infrastructure and facilities in college is 9/10. Oher than this they provide free WiFi, ac cs labs, big library with tons of books, journals, also digital library is available. And vending machine is available other than in 2 canteens. Hostel is very hygienic. It is inside the college. Free wifi is available. In one room 4 or 3 mates will be there and no attached bathrooms but has 8 bathrooms and 8 toilets in each floor and extra 20+bathroom In ground floor.
Faculty: All faculties are qualified. Some are doctorate holders. Other than this they are very friendly. About the curriculum we are currently following KTU university curriculum. But from this year onwards college got autonomous therefore there is change in curriculum it is much updated version . The pass percentage is high almost above average students pass.
Other: Campus is a vast college with good facilities and infrastructure but it is a bit strict. Other than arts and sports day the events are mostly conducted by clubs like IEEE and IEDC. Other cultural festivities are happening as always. The course is a bit backwards but for 2024 a new scheme is introduced with AI and all.

Good campus environment and surroundings.
Placements: 80% of students were placed from our college. The packages for my course range from 75,000 INR to 1.2 LPA from Infosys, TCS, Federal Bank, IBM Software, etc., which are the top recruiting companies at our college. Also, 92% students get internships in companies like InfoPark, Solgen, etc. Senior manager, intern, full-sack web developer, application developer, and so many other roles were offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There are hostels for boys and girls separately. All instruments for studies are provided in the labs. One building for the library, one for the auditorium, and indoor games. A small chapel is also available at our college. There is a Wi-Fi zone for browsing. Classrooms are well maintained. The college provides a rest room in case of sickness or tiredness. Sports equipment is also available.
Faculty: Most of all teachers have a post-graduate degree, so their teaching skills are understandable. Extra exams are being conducted so that all students are well studying. The main advantage is that our college provides project-based learning, that is, every semester as mini projects that are performed by groups of students. Sem exams are medium-hard; well, studying first onwards can make it simple. The pass percentage is 40%. .
Other: There are many events conducted by our college. Events like Arts Day, Sports Day, Teach Fest, and Altair (provided by IEEE). The main reason that I chose my programme (computer science and engineering) is that our society is currently developing artificial intelligence, so I chose to study it.

A school with great infrastructure and academics.
Placements: For Computer Science, almost 180 students get admitted. The fee is 75k per year, but this year, the college became autonomous, therefore, there is a high chance of an increase in the fee. They are also providing scholarships for the needy. Sutherland, Speridian Technologies, Innovate, UVJ Technologies, and Litmus are some companies which recently recruited. The placements cell in the college provides all the latest updates about internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has a great infrastructure with the classrooms being smart classrooms. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The facilities are great. We have a digital library having thousands of collections of books, reviews, research materials available at the college library. I will give 9.5 for infrastructure out off 10. There are lots of pets, goose, dogs, and a nice garden along with lots of trees in the campus. There is a vast ground. The hostel has great facilities having free Wi-Fi, triple or 4 persons sharing a room, and a laundry space. Te mess food is nice except on Fridays, we have both non veg for lunch and dinner, and on Friday, only veg food with payasam is provided. There are so many restrictions for phones usage. We can't use kettle, can't order food, there is not much privacy in the rooms, and there’s no freedom to go outing. The cleanliness staff needs a raise. The college classrooms, floors and paths are cleaned daily. In the hostel, alternative days staff cleans and mops the floors while the toilets are monthly cleaned in every room. They even clean the fans and switch boards.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. Also, they have nice interactions with the students. Most of them are very friendly and help to improve the students who scored low marks by taking remedial classes. The course curriculum is under KTU University, it is not much relevant, just okay. But since the college got an autonomous title, I think it will improve. The college has a high passing percentage for all the branches.
Other: The college also got some restrictions for mobile usage in the 1st year which is a little strict. Sometimes it feels were in an elementary school.
