Sahyadri College of Engineering Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Mangalore

Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 1.2 lac per month. Top companies are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Cohesity, etc. Almost 90% of the students got the opportunity for internships in top companies. Top roles include analyst, system engineer, inspection engineer, product designer, etc.

Placements: The highest number of people placed last year but this year COVID 19 affected to our placement. The college is active in the placement. Many multinational companies are coming to hire the students.

Placements: The college has a dedicated placement team. Anglo-Eastern, Amazon, ITC, TCS and Wipro are some of the top recruiting companies. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and 14LPA is the highest salary package offered. Since 2016 40 to 50% of the students got placed.

Placements: Around 96 students out of 180 students from mechanical branch got placed in various companies. The average salary package offered was about 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Anglo-Eastern, Samudra Institute of Maritime Studies, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant. Many students got placed in the company, which is inside the premises itself. The internship is provided to all students in the company.

Placements: Many placements are offered by core and IT companies that visit the college. The last highest placement was recorded by IBM, as 104 students from the 4th year were recruited. Inforis recruited 74 students. Placements are offered by different well-reputed companies. Sahyadri is the top engineering college for placements. The highest package offered for MBA students was 21 LPA last year.

Placements: Placement activities are good in this college. The placement is increasing yearly. The placements for M.Tech students are very less. They should give importance to masters degree also. Overall, the placement is good. This college is number one college in Bangalore region. NAAC has given 'A' grade to this college.

Placements: I got placed in Tech Mahindra. Overall, 75% of the students got placed. Those who are eligible for placement were given a good number of opportunities. The PO is average in getting companies but is trying a lot. I feel that the placement results are good. Only a few core companies visit the campus.

Placements: A high rate of placements compared to the previous academic year. 150+ companies listed with 250+ students placed. The highest starting package of 14 lpa. Average starting package of around 2.5 lpa. A shortage of core companies as opposed to mass recruiters.

Placements: Placements in Sahyadri are not bad but most of the time, the companies take up so much time to give the joining, we feel that the companies just closed their office. Our placement cell is very friendly and our placement HOD Mrs Rashmi Bhandary is an awesome person. If any problem is concerned with the placement, she is available then and there to help. Also, her talks really give a hope in our dull days when others say that we are not gonna get a job, and she motivates us. ...

Placements: The placements at Sahyadri college are quite good as compared to other colleges in south India. Sahyadri has a very good placement officer, Mrs Rashmi Bhandari who is very kind and also very dedicated to the work. A lot of multi national companies visited our campus for placements. Placements: The placements for the 2016 passed-out batch were very good compared to our seniors as 3/4 of the whole batch was placed on campus. The highest salary offered was 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary offered was 2 LPA. Companies like Infosys, UST Global, Tech Mahindra, IWave and much more had visited our college, and roles like Graduate Trainee were offered to the students.

Placements: We have a really good placement department head here at Sahyadri. The students undergo pre-placement training(done by a group called Ethnus/some other group), which will help to an extent. Infosys is the day one company followed by Tech Mahindra. The placements are average, and if you do not get selected in Infosys, Tech Mahindra, UST or ITC, chances are that you will end up in tech support. Placements: Really good placements. In our batch, a majority got placed In various companies Nearly 410 students got placed from our batch. Non-CS companies do come for placements. I myself got placed in two companies.average package is around 3k per annum. Placements are really good.

Placements: I had attended 3 companies' interviews from the campus and got placed in 2 companies. We had good companies visiting such as Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc. We had pre-placement training sessions about aptitude, interviews etc, and interaction organised by the management for students with the industrial people benefitted us as well.

Placements: Nearly 60 percent of students will get placed here every here. Here the highest package is 43LPA and the lowest is 2.8 LPA where as average will be 4LPA.
