Reasons to take admission at the Sandip Institute of Engineering and Management, Nashik.

Placements: No placements are provided and the placements that are provided are not from my branch. They are providing placements in sales and marketing but I am a computer graduate so I should get a technical role. Why should I take marketing or sales? Also, they arrange job fairs in which the companies that are coming are not the company but the training center, which again trains for placements.

Infrastructure is not as important as quality of education

Placements: 20 to 30 percent of students were placed. 1.2 lac p. a. was the lowest and 3.5 lac was the highest salary offered by the companies. Dhoot transmission, Rishabh instruments, and Infosys were the top recruiting companies in my course. Most of the companies offer job profiles related to sales and marketing.

The college is neither too good nor too bad.

Placements: Placements in the college are good for the civil and electrical engineering departments. The mechanical engineering department has fewer chances of getting into core fields. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Aptitude test and soft skills sessions were conducted which helped a lot in the placement scenario.

Overall, my college is good and quite impressive.

Placements: Placements are available in our college and about 50 to 55% students are placed from the college. But a lot of companies are from marketing field which is not our core field. Core companies also come for placements but offer a limited package of around 1.20 lacs per annum. Some big companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Bosch, Technoforce for pool campus, visit the campus for placements. Few internships are provided to the students.

It's a good college. There is no freedom for students in classrooms and to leave whenever they want.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA to a student by Byju's Limited, and the minimum salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top roles offered are software developer, quality manager and production manager. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Byju's, Tech Mahindra and CEAT.

A college with best infrastructure but Unskilled staff with dissatisfied students.

Placements: Many of students placed in 3-4 companies at the same time. But after engineering, the student does not have the skill of engineer and that's why the job is also available as a salesman and call operator and all. Many companies did not respond again and did not send an official joining letter to students.
