Pretty average in other aspects, but lot of spare time for self growth.

Faculty: The faculty members of the college are above average; they are highly qualified and experienced, and pretty supportive. Maximum faculty members understand the problems of students, unlike other non-deemed colleges (for example, they do not detain or fail you if the case is genuine). The curriculum of this college is outdated and totally examination-focused. The syllabus of the course is the same as it was 20 years before. Exams are easy; it is easy to score and get a good grade in this college e...

Sliet's review about hostel, infrastructure, faculty etc.

Faculty: As sliet is an government college under Ministry of Education, faculty here are highly qualified in their respect departments. Some faculty members are strict while some are quite friendly. Our course is designed according to present industrial needs. Semester exams here in sliet are not that difficult you can prepare for other exams while studying your own branch subjects.

SLIET- A silent way of approach through the nature.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers were well qualified and some of the faculty members also take classes in foreign countries. Yes, students have to do industrial training at the end of the semester. The difficulty level is medium, and students who achieve a pass percentage of more than 85% will pass their academics.

The infrastructure is quite good.

Faculty: Some faculty members are very supportive, while some are not. Only a few teachers may detain you due to your low attendance. Try to attend their classes as much as possible. We have training in the first year to understand the basics of industrial work. All teachers hold Ph.D. degrees. Semester exams are not very difficult; you need one day of study before the exam to pass.

The beauty of Sant Longowal Institute.

Faculty: The faculty members of our college are highly qualified. This line not only suits our teachers but also our class counselors, and every branch has its own class counselor. Other than this, every student has their own mentor. Our course curriculum is very relevant to our field because we learn more about real-life applications. Exams are taken 3 times in each semester as minors 1 and 2 and the last major.

College with good infrastructure and facilities but low placement.

Faculty: Teachers are moderate to good. Exams are well-distributed, but the curriculum is a bit outdated and too theory-based. A 75% attendance is a must (Except for the mechanical branch). Exams are easy, based on past year papers, and easy to pass with a single all-nighter.

For placements of students there is training and placement department that helps students.

Faculty: The teachers at this institution are highly skilled, with a significant number of them being IIT passouts. The mechanical department boasts a well-experienced faculty. To ensure that students are prepared for the industry, they undergo training in their first year and industrial training in their second and third years. Additionally, there are two minor exams and one major exam per semester, with papers being set by a group of professors. The pass percentage for these exams is set at 35%.

The lowest fee with best facilities at Sliet. You can take admission if your budget is tight.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful but some are also very strict and you have to maintain 75% attendance and 65% with medical. Time for the syllabus is not sufficient so avoid rushing to complete your file or assignment on time. The course curriculum is okay and yes, for computer students, you can join and the level of the exam is moderate.
