Placements: The placement officer during our time was not good. There were placement policies which helped only the college and not the students. Most of the students got placed in Infosys. I doubt if there will be any placements in Saranathan once Infosys wants to stop coming to college for placements. Companies like TCS and Wipro, etc., conducted national level first round tests. So it won't matter what college you choose in the coming days because all the MNCs will be conducting interviews on national ba...
Placements: Placements in our college are good. The college offers 7 courses and invites 4 core companies for each course. MNCs like Infosys, HCL, IVTL, and many others recruited many students from our college. Infosys recruited a minimum of 150 students.
Placements: In my college, the placement pools are pretty good. Many companies are hiring students, and also many core companies visit the college. The placement cell is doing its duty perfectly as what students want. Even it helps the graduated students also. The placement cell keeps an eye on every student in the college and helps them to improve their curriculum.
Placements: In our batch upto 100 persons got placed. 50 person were picked by Infosys. In mechanical engineering in our batch forty three persons got placed in pump company by never got a placement letter from the company. In the electronic department upto fifteen persons got placed.
Placements: I am belongs to mechanical department but in oru department 40% of students got placed. But in other departments like information technology and computer Science is getting better than our department nearly 70% of students get placed, I also try my level best and I used to get placed is shorter time.
Placements: There were many opportunities. A plenty for the IT enabled sectors. MRF was a main recruiter for mechanical. So placement was worth. There will also be many off campus drives that will take place in the college and also many chance to meet higher personals. In our batch nearly 70% of the students got placed and went for internships.
Placements: Placement was not good enough. As they brought only IT companies. If they would have brought many other core related companies, or careers would have been better. Many of my classmates are still searching for jobs and waiting to achieve their passion.
Placements: Placements were quite good for both us and senior batch. Around 40% students got placed. Infosys, Infoview are some familiar companies visited our college. Only 30% students got intern from the college. Salaries are depends upon the company and the position.
Placements: The college has a good number of placements, mainly in the computer science and information technology branches. The college's main recruiters are Infosys and Infoview. Many companies are called for internships also. From our batch, 95 students got placed in Infosys, and the company offered a package of Rs. 3.2 LPA.
Placements: The placement was not up to the level for any of the batches. Only two companies came for on-campus selection. Those two companies are Econ and Infosys. 10% of the students only get placed, but the companies offered good roles to the students. The placement cell is there, but it's wasn't very efficient by that time.
Placements: Placement in our college is not bad but have to improve because Infosys and IVTL are recruiting many students. Moreover Core related companies should come rather then BPO. Placement cell is there. The highest salary is 4.5 lac per annum and the lowest is 1 lac per annum.
Placements: The placements offered by my college is good. Few companies visited my college during my batch. Only Thirty percent of student got selected in my batch. I think the highest salary offered is Rs.25000 per month during training period. Econ, Infosys, Infoview and one BPO these are the companies visited during my batch. In my class 20 of them went for internship. We have a good placement, which is very useful for us.
Placements: For mechanical we got very less number of core companies, so for our department, the placement percentage is very less. The placement is only coming for CSE and ECE department. This is the main drawback of the placement in our saranathan college of engineering.
Placements: We did not have many companies visiting our college, but every year, the college brings some IT and BPO related companies where all departments take part. There are no mechanical core companies coming to our college. If some guy from mechanical got selected in IT even though he doesn't want that job, the next time when a mechanical core company comes to the college that person is not allowed even to attend the interview since he got a placement.
Placements: Placements are good with best salary in industry. Mainly Infosys give much offers and maximum students got placed in it. Yes our college has a placement cell and it is very helpful students. And it has a good relationship with companies. Placed students are in good position.
Placements: In my batch the major recruiter was Infosys. A lot more has to be done from the college by bringing in more major recruiters. Only of students ate exposed to lot more companies then there is a chance for everyone to be placed in at least one company. Need for MNC and other technical core company recruiters. Also a due diligence from college side must be done in ensuring for students preparing for other competitive exams an exposure and awareness about that gives a lot more confidence for the ind...
Placements: Nearly, 30 to 40 percent of the students got placed in the on-campus drive, and 10 to 20 percent of the students got placed in the off-campus drive. The main drawback is the internship, and there is no internship provided inside the college.
Placements: The placement opportunities available here are majorly with IT companies and around 30% people got placed in our batch. But I will appreciate the placement cell and the team for bringing the best and also for arranging maximum offering of jobs to the students.
Placements: Luckily, two or more companies are coming to the campus, and it could be improved in bringing more course based job opportunities rather than bringing more IT companies. Exposure for students regarding these things can be improved rather than putting them into aptitude training simply.
Placements: Placements were good in seniors batch but later it became poor. Most of the companies were from IT. The average salary was around 2 to 3 Lacs p. a. Infosys hired the maximum of 70 people. They gave training programmes for us to enhance our soft skills and make fit for employment. Few companies which we got opportunities were through off campus.
