Saranathan College review 2021 batch.

Placements: The highest package offered is 4.5 LPA, while the lowest stands at 2.16 LPA. Leading recruiters include top firms like TCS, CTS, and Chorizo, providing ample opportunities for graduates. These companies offer roles across various domains, ensuring that students gain valuable experience and build a strong career foundation.

I am dissatisfied with this college canteen.

Placements: Around 30% to 40% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, TCS, CTS, and FedEx. Some students are waiting for internships that will be provided in February. Top role offered is a software developer.

Faculty members are very good, and strict discipline is maintained here.

Placements: I passed out in 2018. Only 40% of the students got placed, which is very low. The salary package offered started from 3 LPA to 8 LPA. IVTL, Infosys and Vuram are the top recruiting companies. Internships were not provided here. Though Infosys is not our core company, they used to recruit many students from ECE, which is the only eye-opener for ECE students.

Review of Saranathan College of Engineering.

Placements: Mostly the placement in our college be moderate company will come. They offered around 17000 package for good knowledge student. In my computer Science branch, mostly they offered like tester kind of role. 75% students from my branch got placed every year in our college.

My college pros and cons.

Placements: Placement was not good enough. As they brought only IT companies. If they would have brought many other core related companies, or careers would have been better. Many of my classmates are still searching for jobs and waiting to achieve their passion.

Dissatisfied because of placements and there are no events, needs a lot of improvement.

Placements: The placement was not up to the level for any of the batches. Only two companies came for on-campus selection. Those two companies are Econ and Infosys. 10% of the students only get placed, but the companies offered good roles to the students. The placement cell is there, but it's wasn't very efficient by that time.

Saranthan college is average in all aspects.

Placements: We did not have many companies visiting our college, but every year, the college brings some IT and BPO related companies where all departments take part. There are no mechanical core companies coming to our college. If some guy from mechanical got selected in IT even though he doesn't want that job, the next time when a mechanical core company comes to the college that person is not allowed even to attend the interview since he got a placement.

Did I study in this college.

Placements: Luckily, two or more companies are coming to the campus, and it could be improved in bringing more course based job opportunities rather than bringing more IT companies. Exposure for students regarding these things can be improved rather than putting them into aptitude training simply.

The college which provided less opportunities.

Placements: Placements were good in seniors batch but later it became poor. Most of the companies were from IT. The average salary was around 2 to 3 Lacs p. a. Infosys hired the maximum of 70 people. They gave training programmes for us to enhance our soft skills and make fit for employment. Few companies which we got opportunities were through off campus.

My college is one of the most opted colleges in Trichy. I studied in CSE discipline and I had some experienced and dedicated faculty. The placements happen on-campus, off-campus and pooled campus drives. Around 75% of the students are placed in the renowned companies.

"Saranathan is one of the renowned colleges in Tiruchirappalli. It is known for its quality of education and discipline. Though the campus is not very big, it has the necessary amenities to run the college delivering quality teaching. Pros: 1) The staff members are friendly and at the same time expect high discipline. 2) Good sports facility with a good cricket ground. 3) Good lab facility, allowing students to work individually on the projects or experiments. Cons: 1) Placement is little ...

Only people in Trichy know about this college. College staffs is good but management is not up to the mark. College hostel is the worst. During my graduation period, two brand new laptops were stolen inside the hostel but management didn’t took any steps over that. Overall, college standard is average but very less placement opportunities are there.

The college did not give us with a great exposure to the society nor to the industry. Best in Trichy

Placements: The college had a decent placements session for both mine and senior batch. The highest package was of 5.5 Lacs from IVTL. The lowest was even near 2 lkhs. On an average 60% of the companies had a package less than 3 Lacs. 40% had package on or above 3 Lacs. Infosys was the mass recruiter for our campus. No other decent companies for recruitment other than ivtl.
