The infrastructure is good, but I am not satisfied with faculty.

Placements: Placements are average mainly for coding. The average package offered is 5 to 6 Lacs per annum. Companies like Airtel, Reliance, John Deere, Wipro, Infosys, JPMC and Master Card visited the campus. Students were offered both coding and core profiles. Internships were offered to a few students only. There is a placement cell with three student placement coordinators.

Honest review of NIT Surat.

Placements: Placements are good as the number of students placed is 80% of the total available students. Packages range from 5 LPA to 25 LPA. Internship for some branches is high. An intern gets around 10k to 1L provided by the college. There is training and placement cell which takes care of everything regarding placements.

The infrastructure of the college is good.

Placements: Placements in our college for our senior batch were really good. About 90% of our seniors got placed. The highest 40 salary package offered is LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Many companies like DE Shaw, JP Morgan, etc., visited the campus for placements.

Review about Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: There are excellent placements for both core and non-core. Most companies visit campus only for computer students, and aptitude tests for both core and non-core have technical questions. There is no option to not study technical questions for non-core jobs.

Placements were good in 2018 and 2019, and the infrastructure and hostel facilities are the best.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college that handles all the placement activities. Every year, approximately 100 students get placed out of 120-130 students. Almost all the students are eligible to sit for placements, but a few students who are not interested for placements go for further studies abroad etc. Core companies like John Deere, Airtel, L&T, BEL, IRCON, HFCL, etc., and software companies like JPMC, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Mahindra Comviva, Wipro, Oracle, Capgemini, etc., visited the cam...

Overall it's satisfactory. It's one of the good colleges. Placements in 2019 batch are good.

Placements: This year placements in our college are quite good as compared to past years. Until now, almost more than 40 students are placed. Some companies are yet to visit the campus for placements. Overall it's satisfactory. Placements vary from year to year for every branch. Placements for civil branch are quite low.

SVNIT has all the facilities you need, and you will never regret joining it.

Placements: Among 92 students, 54-55 students got placed from 2014-2018 batch. The highest package offered was 14 LPA by BPCL, the lowest package was around 3 LPA, and the average package was 5-6 LPA. Around 22-23 students got placed in L&T, and the remaining students are preparing for exams like GATE, CAT, and non-technical government exams like UPSC, SSC CGL etc.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Various companies start visiting our campus from the seventh semester. Non-core companies, i.e., IT companies and management companies visit our campus mostly from the seventh semester. From the middle of the seventh semester, core companies visit our campus to hire students. Many companies visit our campus for internships in the third year, and they also offer pre-placement offers.

Satisfied because I just wanted a degree, not placements.

Placements: Decent opportunities visit the campus. Moreover, for computers or electronics and communication engineering field, lots of companies offering good packages visit the campus for placements. These days, some PSUs are also visiting our campus, so no need to worry about GATE exam.

Placements: Placements in our college are good enough. But the companies visiting the college are good in numbers only for particular branches. The average salary package offered by the company is about 6 LPA. But the core companies visiting the campus are less in number. We are not satisfied with our faculty.

Placements: Most of the students are getting placed in the IT sector. There is no or little scope for the students to get placed in the core field. Many IT companies visit our campus, but only a few core companies hire our students. Companies like Airtel, LnT and John Deere are the only core companies that visited our campus to hire our students.

Review of NIT Surat (SVNIT) - Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: As far as the placements of our senior batches are concerned, the placement percentage is good, and one can get placed easily through excelling in their respective branch. As far as EC students are concerned, opportunities in core companies are not up to the level, and software placements are good. One can get all the required information related to placements and training, and the companies that visited the campus and their offers, by going through college's official website www.svnit.ac.in.

The college provides good infrastructure with nice environment and average placements.

Placements: Overall placements of NIT Surat were average and that depends on the branch. The highest salary package offered was 27 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Placements depend on overall knowledge and personality of students and also vary from company to company what they require.

Review of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good, but the problem is with the salary package offered. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered this time is around 11 LPA, and it was offered by Honda. I don't know much about the job profiles offered. There are no mass recruiters from core electrical. So far, companies like L&T, Reliance, Siemens, MG Motors, etc., visited our college for placements.

The infrastructure and campus life are really good.

Placements: Pretty decent companies visit our campus for placements, and the college also hires a good number of students. Around 80% of the students get placed from our batch, and the probability of a girl candidate not getting placed is almost zilch. Overall, the response from seniors has been satisfactory. Hopefully, placements get even better with the batches to follow.
