Good: 1. One of the best colleges when it comes to Mechanical branch. 2. College is in the middle of the city. Great location indeed! 3. Huge slope for student to actively pursue his/her hobby. The college is filled with talents! 4. Amazing sports infrastructure! Bad: 1. Bike is banned 2. Especially for girl students: strict in time restrictions Nothing else as such.

The college is the one with lush green campus. The infrastructure is at par with the one expected from an NIT. The amenities provided are just fantastic; that includes the Sports Centre and various Student Clubs working for the betterment of student resource. The academics is providing insight to the students in their respective fields with the well-qualified professors, along with the Teaching Assistants (TA) working for the same. Apart from study culture, the hostel culture is the best one too...

If you are planning on getting in a good college with a friendly environment, just go for it. There is a lot of greenery around. The classes are like if you want to study you can, but if you don't you won’t. By the way there is an attendance system in college and you should consider it in your criteria for selection because they are pretty strict about it. Placements are more than good if you are in CS and of course for other courses as well.

Overall the college is good and worth it if of course you aren't getting into the top 7 IITS and the top 3 NITs then it's the place for you. - Almost zero ragging - Good environment and a lot of opportunity if you can grab one. - It's Gujarat so you will be placed for sure unless you don't want to with an average of 5+ LPA in mechanical engineering. - Somehow the students of SVNIT are too good at management that a lot of them crack CAT with very good percentile and end up in decent MBA colleges....

SVNIT is known for its infrastructure. Teaching facilities are good except for electronics engineering. Placements are fine for CSE and average for rest. No ragging. Hostel facilities are extra ordinary and campus is well equipped with gym, sports and recreational facilities. Fests are of great fun and management is strict.

The curriculum followed is that of IIT Bombay . Placement records are excellent. The hostel facility provided is one if the best in India itself.High-speed 3 g internet facility is available in the campus and hostels. The food although is not the best. That's the prime negative of the college. The menu followed is completely vegetarian...
