Some faculty members are not much satisfactory. The infrastructure is very beautiful.

Placements: Placements in our college are just average. Only 50% of the students get placed from our college, and the rest of the students prepare for exams like GATE, CAT, and GRE, etc. However, all the students get placed in mass recruitment companies finally. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Most of the students get placed in L&T.

The college provides good infrastructure, average curriculum and amazing college life.

Placements: Placements provided to our seniors were good, and we hope that they provide good placements for our batch too. About 85% of the students got placed. The highest and the lowest packages offered are 14.3 LPA and 4 LPA respectively. Companies that visited the campus include D. E. Shaw, J. P. Morgan and Chase, Credit Suisse, MasterCard, Amdocs, Airtel, Capgemini, UHG, Carwale etc. Roles are offered in domains like software testing and development, embedded systems design, communication system design...

The college has good infrastructure but the worst maintainance. All faculty are not up to mark.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for all branches, especially for computer engineering students. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.7 LPA. AT least 70% of the elligble students will be placed every year. Good companies like Amazon, Hero, Honda, and some PSUs visit the campus for placements. We have separate placement cell and it performs its level best.

An Experience filled with surprises, both good and bad.

Placements: The placements were amazing for our seniors and hopefully, they are the same for us. Over 90% of the students were placed, with 20lpa being the highest package and 4lpa being the lowest. The companies that visited the campus include Capgemini, Amdocs, Microsoft, D. E. Shaw, J. P. Morgan and Chase, MasterCard, G. E. P., John Deere and many more. The students were placed in a variety of roles, but in Electronics, the main roles were Software tester, Software developer, Embedded Systems Designer, C...

It has good placement records, good infrastructure and facilities, well-organised fests and events.

Placements: If you are a good student, then no need to worry about the placement. You can easily get an offer of 10 LPA. You will have to face problems if your CGPA is less than 7. Just maintain the CGPA above 7 and develop your skills which are the major requirements for a company.

Good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: The placements were good enough, it should be given to the people with skills rather than CGPA. In the computer engineering department, nearly 95% of people were placed last year. The highest salary offer was 36 LPA and the lowest was 5-6 LPA. Companies like MasterCard, Amazon, etc.

The college provides the best infrastructure with the worst maintenance.

Placements: Placements in our college were good for our senior batch. People who want to go for core electronics face heavy competition for placements whereas those who choose software or management will get good opportunities to get placed. Only a few companies visited the campus for placements of core electronics.

Dissatisfied because of the placements of non-IT courses. Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Students require placements from college. Placements in the software field are perfect but not for other fields. We have a very tough competition for placements. So, think once before you choose the fields other than the software field.

The college is excellent for other departments. But, I don't recommend it for ECE.

Placements: Placements in our college, particularly our department, are very good. Nearly 90% of the students got placed from college. Packages offered to the placed students are divided into 3 groups. The 1st group has the packages of more than 12 LPA, and the 2nd group has the packages between 8 to 12 LPA, and the 3rd group has less than 8 LPA. From ECE, nearly 30% of the students got internships.

Student chapters in SVNIT are awesome.

Placements: Placements are good. You can also get internship opportunities in the third year. The T&P section tries even harder every year to bring more companies so that more students can get placed. So, the placements are good, and even internship opportunities are increasing every year.

Review of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good for all branches except for mechanical engineering. Computer engineering branch got the highest salary package ever along with 100% placements. Chemical branch students got good placements because Gujarat is the hub of chemical industries. The electrical branch also got good placements. Placements for other branches are worthless.

Overall, the college is good and it is developing. It has a very good library. I would rate 6.5/10.

Placements: Placements in our college for the mechanical branch will always be good. But it depends on many factors like CGPA of the students as the student strength in the mechanical branch is high. It also depends on extracurricular activities and communication skills. These qualities are required for the best placements which everyone desires to get as many students don't get satisfied with low salary packages.

Placements: Placements mostly depend on the branch. All the students (100%) of computer engineering branch get placed every time, while the companies visiting the college to recruit the students of the civil department is quite low. Among the eligible students of mechanical engineering branch, almost 80% to 85% of the students get placed. Placements: Placements in SVNIT are very good. Many MNCs visit the campus for recruitment. Placements in IT companies were tremendous and increasing year by year. I was from the electronics department, and core companies like Airtel, HFCL, John Deere, Siemens, Logistic Fruit Technologies, EXL, L&T, etc., also visit our campus for recruitment.

Opt for the chemical department in SVNIT if you are worried about attendance.

Placements: Placement rate for the computer department in NIT Surat is pretty high. Almost everyone gets placed. There is a TNP team who invite different companies for placements and internships. Other departments also have good placement rate.

Good curriculum, developing lab facilities but need to improve work environment.

Placements: The placement percentage of integrated M.Sc. Students have increased to a great extent in the academic year of 2018-19. Students got placement opportunities in academic as well as in management and also in industries. But there are no such opportunities for students interested in coding etc.

Review of NIT Surat (SVNIT) - Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in integrated M.Sc. are less compared to B.Tech and M.Tech. Especially, students of the chemistry branch prefer to pursue a PhD after their degree, as placements are not good. However, some students get placements with the salary package of less than or equal to 5 LPA.
