The college known for Mechanical Engineering.

Placements: The placement of the college is very good. The placement is also improving a lot year by year as many new companies came to campus for placements. SVNIT is known for the mechanical department. Various companies like L&T, JK Tyres, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, OPAL etc. Came for recruiting students. The average package offered for the Mechanical department in my batch was 5.58 lacs per annum and the highest salary offered was 12.53 lacs per annum.

Very good college to become Engineer.

Placements: In my year, computer engineering branch placement was excellent. On a zeroth day, D. E Shaw came to the campus. Companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. visited the campus and hired students. 97% of my class got placed. The average salary offered was 7.8 lacs per annum and the highest salary offered was 25 lacs per annum.

Very much satisfied because of good campus environment, good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. About 30%-35% of the students got placed from our batch. The highest salary package offered by non-core companies was 9.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered by a core company was 5.5 LPA. Companies like L&T Construction, Technip and some other core companies visited our college for placements. The roles offered were of a GET.

NIT Surat Review | A good college to join for engineering.

Placements: Superb placements. Companies do offer good profiles and packages. A beautiful campus in and around, very near to the city. All the facilities are available for students and things are favourable for students. Food is great. Management of mess and other perks is also good.

NIT Surat is one of the best engineering colleges in India.

Placements: Placements of our batch were pretty awesome, and it is improving year by year. In computer engineering branch, the highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and it was offered by Microsoft. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and it was offered by TCS. Varieties of companies like Samsung, Vedanta, KonyLabs, IBM, etc., visited the campus during my course. For other branches, PSUs and semi PSUs visited the campus, and they hired a large number of students.

Review of NIT Surat (SVNIT) - Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements for computer science and mechanical engineering departments are very good. The college is able to provide placements because of its reputation and quality students. Good companies visit the campus for the computer science department. Placements for other branches are not that great. Placements are approximately 100% for the computer science department. Very few companies visited for internships.

This is really a great place to pursue your bachelor's degree.

Placements: Overall, placements in our college are awesome. The college maintains great relations with well-reputed companies. Most of the students get placed from our college. The average salary package offered is about 8-9 LPA. The placement coordinators are very helpful. Placement opportunities are offered in both the technical as well as non-technical fields.

Very satisfied with the four years of experience gained, placements have a scope of improvement.

Placements: In my batch consisting of 232 students, 180 students got placed in companies like HPCL, BPCL, Maruti Suzuki, VECV, L&T, ZS Associates, etc. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA by HPCL company, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA offered by Infosys. Average salary package offered was 4.8 LPA.

About 23 to 25 companies related to software/IT sector visited the campus to recruit the students from the batch of 2017-18, in which about 82 students of computer engineering got placed out of 100. Students get an overwhelming experience with excellent placements.

Placements: NIT, Surat usually procures almost 100% placements. The average salary package offered to our batch students was around 6 LPA, and the highest being 11 LPA. Companies like Reliance, Vedanta, JSW, etc., visited the college and hired students. Most of the roles offered to the students in our department were mainly core operations based. Internships were also offered to some eligible pre-final year students. Overall, the placement process is one of the best.

Placements: Placements have been quite good in our college. The placements are going for our batch. The placements of our seniors were very well. Around 70-80% of students were placed last year with maximum of them being placed in core companies. Placements: Placements in our batch were very good. Many companies are visiting for each branch with their salary packages ranging from 4 LPA to 30 LPA. Placements: The placements for computer science branch students are very good. Mostly, 80% of the students get PPO and internships in their 3rd year. One of our seniors got a package of 27 LPA, in his 3rd year. The highest package until now is Rs. 24 LPA, which is very good. I think the placement depends on your performance and dedication.
