Saveetha university is ranked 3rd in Chennai by giving better future to the students.

Placements: In our campus, so many MNC companies have placed CSE students, and mechanical engineers had got internship programmes also. Other departments like ECE, civil, IT, they also got same placements in CSE companies. Also, so many other college people are also visiting our college for placements. Then you may understand that how many placements are visiting our institution.

Saveetha engineering college is the best college to get pass marks in every semester.

Placements: In this college, we had a great time pass, and some of the facilities are good. This college never had placement.

I feel good for joining in this college. It was surrounded with good friends and professors.

Placements: The placements are very good for the computer science department. The highest salary package offered in our college is 7.5 L/A. They have separate classes for the placements. Hence it is very easy to clear the exams and get placed. Mostly 90% of our students get placed every year.

I am Satisfied because of its infrastructure and facilities, but not with its less placements.

Placements: For our batch, there were fewer placements compared to our seniors. From day 1 we got Tech Mahindra, IBM, Capgemini. Around 300+ got placed in the recruitment. After the Day 1 placement, we didn't get any MNCs in our college. And the ones who got placed in the Tech Mahendra didn't receive their call letters yet. Overall, the percentage of the students who got placed was only 60%. We also had a lot of internships happening, and the interested candidates can give their best there.

Overall, it is a good college to spend those four golden college years.

Placements: Compared to other colleges of the same place, Saveetha had a lot of placement opportunities. Some of the pool drives were in fact hosted in Saveetha. But, there are some restrictions for the students to get placed in multiple companies. This could be a drawback for someone who is already placed but wants to get a better opportunity. Apart from that, the college has a separate placement wing which has a good staff force to train the students on the placements.

Good but need changes in many places like placement, discipline and food.

Placements: It has very good placement for the particular departments like computer science, electronics and communication, etc. But the placement of the mechanical engineering and the civil engineering is poor. The highest salary offered was Rs. 7 lacs per annum. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per annum. The college also has the placement training classes which are compulsory for all the students. So, it is a must to have those classes. It is helping to get placements in the companies. The intern...

The experience which I got through in this college is overwhelming

Placements: Decent compared to that of other colleges. They fix some company which does a bulk recruitment. Other than that, they bring good start-ups where a starter can start his life and learn a lot of things. The placement coordinators and team gives you the exact information and the scenario.

My college is one among the best university in Chennai Tamil Nadu. They provide Trip to NASA USA Kennedy space research Centre for an International Robotic competition where selected students who are interested and good in Robotics are sent for 2month Competition. They have good infrastructure such as technically equipped class smart board in class and lab computers. They have also introduced a robotic department in engineering which has a larger scope in future. Students who are academically go...

Almost 3/4th of the college professors are Ph.D. qualified and thus are highly knowledgeable. The college has its own robotics club which also sends students abroad for international competitions. I was part of a team which went to NASA during the 4th year to take part in a robotics competition. College infrastructure is top notch with labs having latest machines and relevant software installed on the computers. Classrooms also have smart boards installed to aid teaching. Cons include the remote...

Not too good, not too bad. Placements are OK. Infrastructure and facilities good. Faculty members are OK. Not one of the very strict, school like colleges in Chennai. Hostel facilities are manageable. Away from the city by 10 km. Campus is located along medical college and university.

Best college in Chennai, The best thing about the college is its campus and infrastructure. It has all types of outdoor ground, and other facilities. Placements are huge in this college. I would recommend this college not only for engineering but there are campus of Saveetha all over Chennai for dental, medical and law.

Our college is good to those students who concentrate on academics and focus on executing future plans. The weightage is 20% internal and 80% external. Coming to the infrastructure, it is quite good but not the best. Placements range between 75 and 90%. Student to faculty ratio is good and there are many experienced faculty members. Good importance is given to college fests and participation.

I was quite satisfied with the college .

Placements: For the past few years many of the company have visited saveetha engineering college for the placement. Many of the students were placed. But only drawback is not getting adequate salary and position. Many companies are interested in our college and from this year the number of companies can increase .

Saveetha Engineering is a wonderful option for upcoming students.

Placements: In Saveetha Engineering College, the chemical equipment is not updated, even though the college and courses are good in some cases. The average package is 3.5 to 4.5 LPA, with the lowest package at 2.5 LPA and the highest at 9 LPA in campus recruitment.

All you need to know before joining SEC(Saveetha Engineering College)

Placements: I am currently 2nd year. The number of students that have been placed in the 4th year is around 97% but the college tries to place most of the students in the sales side and not the IT side. The companies that come for hiring are Caegemini, Guvi, DevRev, Mu Sigma, JP Morgan Chace and Co, HDB, Foxconn, etc., Most students attend internship in the 3rd or 2nd year and mostly students do the internship in companies nearby. Most students get developer role if they are placed. The highest package is...

Absolutely satisfied because of environment, placement, and facilities.

Placements: In 2023 placement, students secured 100% placement and the highest salary was 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, and Wipro. Lots of training was given in the third year. It helps the students learn objective questions for placement. Mostly everything is based on skill.

They are also providing training for students. They teach soft skills classes, through which we become more knowledgeable.

It provides good infrastructure. Our college is very good with a friendly environment.

Placements: As a alumni of this college, I would suggest students to take admission because of its placements facilities, and it was purely on students' knowledge and determination, but they provide many opportunities. The role offered was a software developer.
