I'm satisfied with faculty but not satisfied with placements.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are not good so students have to find placements and internships off-campus. Best and deserving students get placed in reputed companies with good salary packages. Our college does not provide internship opportunities.

It is not a good college for quality education.

Placements: It is a research course where manipulations are done on living organisms using various techniques to make products for human benefit. This course has a bright scope in the coming future. There are around 21 students in this course. The top recruiting companies are Serum Institute of India, Panacea Biotech Ltd., Biocon, etc. The top roles offered are researcher, JRF, clinical technician, professor, DNA analyst, etc.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Placements: The students only get placement after M.Sc. There is no option for a B.Sc. student's placement. The maximum package of an M.Sc. student would be 10-12 LPA. B.Tech students get placement after the course. Most companies like Bisleri, whirlpool, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for the placement.

Make it your last option.

Placements: If you're getting admission in IFTM University then first of all make it your last option or no option (that's better) at all. You should really forget about the campus placements. Teachers will help you a lot and that's the only good part about it.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 99.99% of students from our course get placed. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 25,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Amul, Parle, Britannica, pharmaceutical companies, microbiology labs, etc., visit the college for placements. Only the toppers get the internship from the above-mentioned companies. Roles like microbiologist, lab manager, QA and QC, lab techni...

Dissatisfied because of placements in 2018. There are no extracurricular activities.

Placements: There are no placement opportunities for B.Sc. biotechnology students and for M.Sc. biotechnology students. They are provided only if a student scores more than 80% in academics. If some students get placed somewhere, they are not offered a salary of more than Rs. 14,000 per month. None of the companies visited our campus for placements, mainly in our building. They don't provide or conduct any internships. We have to do internships on our own.

Placements: The highest package offered by my specialisation is around Rs 50000 and the average and the lowest package is around Rs 15000 to 20000. There are many top recruiting companies that usually come for placement. The top roles offered by the course are Biotechnologist, Food technologist, Microbiologist etc.
